These guys are dishonest and provide poor service. Stay far away from them if you can. The metal part on my car key fob broke. Its one of those integrated keys. I called my roadside assistance and they were dispatched. The key fob worked fine and would still unlock/lock my door. They had a new key that had the Chevy emblem on it but said would work since it is GM (I have a Buick). I said fine, a new key is a new key. They were charging $225 for the job to get me a NEW key for my car. My roadside assistance was paying $100 and I was paying the rest. When they showed up they hooked the computer up to my car to program the new key. It didnt work. Tried again. Didnt work. Called some people on the phone and got done other ideas. Nothing worked. At one point left my key on for 10 minutes to try a trick. Didnt work. At that point he should have admitted defeat and left. Instead, he took it upon himself to pry open my old key fob and take out the chip board and pry open the brand new key to put it in (since the chip is what is really the "key"). The keys were not meant to be pried open so it started getting messy. I guess he couldnt get the old chip in to the new key so he took a a piece off of the new key and out it on my old key fob, and put it back together. The car did start their way but the spring mechanism was installed was flimsy at best. He hands me back my old refurbished key now and then asks for the full amount of the new key. I refuse to pay as I did not agree to a shoddy half broken refurbished key. He takes the key leaving me stranded in the parking lot and begins to drive away. At this point I was about to call the police. The roadside assistance got in touch with the drivers headquarter and they told him to come back and give me the pieces of my key back. So the guy dismantled what he did and gave me the key back and then sped off. Little did I know he kept the chip board inside and also erased all the key programming and screwed up my car even more. I had to have my car towed to the dealer and am paying more money now to get a new key programmed. I feel bad because the guy did work hard to try to get me a working key. But that wasnt the job hired for. I wanted a NEW key and that is what I was paying for. Next time cut the losses when their computer doesnt work ( he also tried to blame my car, lol that it was my particular cars fault). In summary, couldnt do the job. Rigged something together. Tried to charge me and left me stranded in a parking lot. Stole my chip board (I am going to call the police about this because I know he did it on Purpose to screw me). If this is the experience you want, call these guys.

I live in a condo on Hollywood Beach and have bought keys here in the past for some of the other owners, no problem. Last year I bought 2 keys for a Ford Pickup truck I owned that had the alarm/door opener attached. After a few months the key separated from the alarm control and when I would remove the key from the ignition, the key would detach staying in ignition leaving me with the control in my hand, cheaply made. The thing that makes me mad is they put out a folding sign on the sidewalk near the street advertising house keys for 94 cents, when I went in I was told that Schlage keys would me more, about $1.75. That is false advertising and I will never do business with them again. Schlage key blanks dont cost them more than 15 cents each. That is false advertising, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. They lost my business.

took the staff here a nissan 300zx key and two O.E.M. blanks...took them 15 minutes to tell me that the key was slipping out of their machine or that they had the wrong equipment for this job. I didnt have an issue returning in a week when they told me theyd have that special machine by that time. When i go to use my original key it wouldnt go into the lock on the door. Upon inspection, they gouged the only copy I had of my car key. Its one thing to refuse the work, but its another for them to slaughter a key and act like nothing happened. I left with a damaged original and a half cut, expensive O.E.M. blank. I will never give them my business again. If another locksmith tells me that my original key is ruined, I will be sure to return and make a claim against their insurance...very upset!!!

I got locked out of my rental car & called Keys Plus Locksmith for emergency service. They arrived in less than 15 minutes & got me back into my car in a jiffy. I found this company to be prompt & professional. I was also happy that even considering that it was late at night, Keys Plus gave me a very reasonable price for the emergency call and got me back in my car so quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

I was there last year to make a spare key for my truck (in case I locked myself out). It was a couple dollars... Today I went back to make a spare key for my other truck. I expected to pay about the same. But this time they charged me $6.00 (plus tax) for a key that would be less than $2.00 at home depot. WHAT A RIP! Ill never go there again. They are a RIP OFF.

Locked my keys in the car during a night on the town. Called for help unlocking. The staff were completely professional and very quick. They also gave a much better price than others I called that night. The locksmith came out and was clean cut and polite and also fast. I will be using them if the need calls again.

I cant believe how easy and convenient the experience was, the guy which was a total sweetheart and so helpful. He said the whole process would take at least 15 minutes and it only took like 7! He also programmed the key for us for such an amazing price. Would definitely recommend this place.

Extremely unprofessional and less reliable than the cheap straws at Chipotle. Service was up to par with the homeless man that sold me flowers off of 95. Took them a week to let me know that they cannot help me and with an particularly negative attitude. If you need a key look elsewhere.

Great service. I found them online when I was searching for a reasonable price for a spare car key for my Ford. The dealership wanted over $250, but Keys Plus was able to save me over $100 from the dealer price! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good deal!
