I have been to B&D lock on two occasions and left disappointed both times. The first time I visited, I wanted to get a key duplicated for my car. The key was old and had substantial pocket wear, but still worked correctly. However, they attempted to tell me that "keys do not wear out in your pocket" and that "my ignition was eating the key." They suggested that I should have them install a new ignition. All of my keys in my pocket had the same amount of wear, so I knew this was bogus. I simply refused and had the key duplicated. The second time I visited, I wanted to get a blank key for a lock I did not have a key for so I could make a key for it myself. However, after determining what key type it was, they refused to sell me a blank key due to "legal concerns" and the fear that I might "make a bump key." They then offered to make the key for me instead for $10. It is not illegal to sell blank keys. I did not like being made to feel like a criminal because I wanted to make a key myself. I simply went to a hardware store up the road and bought the same blank key from them without problem. I am never going to B&D lock again.

paid $20 (of my teen hard earned money from fast food joints and) to get a blank key online. Gave the key to my dad and he took it to B&D, its fine that they couldnt cut it but I didnt get the key back, my dad texted me instantly that they had lost my new key. I called them and he put the blame entirely on my dad. If I could give this place a 0 star I would, I dont deserve to have something taken and not returned from me.

Moved to a new house, and needed 5 deadbolts and locking handles replaced. I called B&D and they sent a guy out fairly quickly. Tommy, the locksmith, swapped out all the locks and handles in about an hour, including some in-the-field modifications. Fast, not expensive, and professional. Will certainly use them again in the future.

Fantastic company. They have taken care of personal locks as well as work. They made a work call for me, same day on a weekend. They knew their stuff! B&D is my go to. Their showroom is also very nice.
