This company is very shady. Our roof, shed and fenced sustained damage from the hurricane that hit on October 7th. They never provided me a written estimate, even though I had requested one on numerous occasions. They provided one to my insurance company back in November. I called several times, sent faxes and text messages asking when the job would be started and requested a written estimate, so that I would know what I would owe at the end of the job, since my insurance company sent the money to me and not to their company. The money given to me was for all of the damage sustained by the hurricane, not just the roof. We hired Carlson Enterprises to replace our roof only. My husband fixed our shed and replaced our entire fence with our own money. The cost of that was over $4,000 of our own money. Every time I would get in contact with the sales representative trying to get an invoice or estimate, he kept on telling me that we had to pay them our full deductible of $4,800. In February he told me that we cut them a check for $4,800 to show the insurance company we paid our deductible and then Carlson would immediately cut us a $4,800 check back. I was finally faxed over an invoice on 4/6/17, which is dated 11/17/16, which totals just under $20,000 (which is not itemized and includes a line item: deductible - $4,800). Note, the invoice includes costs takes from my insurance carriers initial estimate I provided to them, prior to them ever starting the work. I have had to get an attorney involved to assist me in dealing with this company. I would advise anyone reading this to steer clear of this company. They prefer to deal directly with the insurance carrier so they can get as much money as possible, and leave the customer out in the dark. All I can say is they are extremely shady. Run!!!

Carlson Entreprises, LLC, came after a tornado touched down in our neighborhood in Jacksonville, FL. The sales rep was a sweetheart, very attentive and patient with any concerns we had. He held our hand all the way. He always got back to us when we called or texted him. If he couldnt help us his office staff was there to answer any questions or concerns. We had to wait a little extra time on getting the work done due to red tape, but our patience with each other during the whole process was well worth it. The roof on the house looks just gorgeous, and it was well done!! The workers were amazing and so kind. Their work...impeccable! They cleaned up like it was their own home. After they were done with the roof, it was like they werent ever there. It was a true positive and professional experience. Money well spent! Our roof has made us the envy of our neighborhood. The house looks amazing. It brought up the house and property value by thousands. We arent afraid of any strong winds anymore! I love this company, we cant express our deep appreciation any better. This gentleman came out and immediately tried to sell me on using my insurance verses paying for it, so they could charge my insurance more. He attempted to have me sign a contract stating that if my insurance approved a repair I would be obligated to use their company before he even reviewed a quote or discussed the materials and items they would use to redo my roof. When I told him I was not willing to sign this and wanted a quote like the other 5 companies provided he stated the price would be higher since he wanted to use my insurance, yet if I decided to personally pay (which was my intention the entire time) the quote he would be providing wouldnt be comparable. At this point I just wanted him to leave my home as I felt I was trying to be ripped off and just asked him to email the quote. A week later I have not received anything. Do not use them. So many other companies who went out of their way to educate me and provide a clear quote.

We had a roof put on, by Carlson Enterprises, and felt it was a total family experience from the get go. Our salesman (Brian) contacted us by cold calling. He was very professional. We were so in need of a new roof. Brian came in, and we talked a while, and he then showed us many types of coverings for our roof. We quickly decided on a covering, and a price, which was a lot less than we had anticipated.It was a week later that we had our new roof. The installers were very nice, and did a great job in covering our property, so we didnt get any nails in our tires, or feet. Brian was in touch almost daily, to inform us of what was happening. We nearly adopted him as family, because that was the way he treated us. Even after the roof was installed, he followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company for your next roof.

I am so unhappy with this very unprofessional company I dont think it deserves even a 1-star rating. I signed the contract with this companys representative on Mar 11, 2017 for roofing replacement installation, half of the cost already paid by my insurance, my deductible also already paid, and Carlson promised installation would be the week of Jun 12, 2017, yet until now no installation has happened. More than four months now not even a courtesy call from this company to inform me on when the installation will be. I cannot recommend this company to my friends or anyone else.

I had a small roof repair job needed. I requested and received a quote which I agreed to. Never heard from their sales person again. A month later, I had a call from their HQ to see if my roof still need to be repaired. I said it did and was told they would get someone to take care of it. A week later I was told they had no one to take care of this for me. I will need a full roof replacement in the next year or two and Carlson Enterprises will NOT be a company I will call. VERY IRRESPONSIBLE!

When a friends home needed a new roof, Carlson Enterprises and its friendly staff were there every step of the way to handle the situation. My friends were unaware their home needed a new roof, but were informed just how bad the damage was. Layers of new shingles were needed and there was plywood rot underneath. Carlson revamped the roof and took out rotted boards to ensure the home would stay dry even in in a Florida downpour. I would highly recommend them to future friends and family.

I love this place to I didnt really check in detailed if roof is good or not. On the other year in monsoon season, many shingles got broken and I needed to re-roof. I couldnt afford for new roof. Carlson provided me 100% financing on re-roofing. Carlson enterprises is a best roofing contractor Jacksonville FL based.

Worst company ever to deal with, make you feel like you are important, But all the want is a signed contract and your money.. then if you use your insurance company they call them the day they pass inspection and ask them where is the check... Filed a mechanics Lien 4 day after inspection and we havent received check from insurance company yet.. wont return phone call and dont fix things that they broke. Stay away from this Company.....
