Horrible customer service. I cancelled in November of 2016 to begin a membership at LA Fittness. August 3, 2017 I receive a collections notice. I called immediately to find out the issue. Apparently the kid they pay at the front desk did not do his job properly and I was being billed this entire time..... no phone calls, no email, no letters, nothing for 9 months them a collection email. I called and a young person who identified herself as a manager said she saw that I had not been since November and waived the monthly charges but I needed to come in to sign a cancellation (again) and pay a small fee. I agreed as I pay my bills. When I arrived later that evening I was met at the counter by a nice young man who started the process. While I was telling him the story a very young and very rude girl named Kimmy butted in. I told her het I was going to post my experience on social media and she began yelling that i could not post her name (not that I panned on it up to this point). Everyone started staring as she made a scene. Kimmys customer relation skills are horrible and the failed cancellation is obvious that the staff are under trained..... no good. :(

I was told in December it would open before the Super Bowl. Then in Jan I was told it would open in Feb. In Feb I was told it would open in March. In March I was told it would open in April. In April I was told it would open in May. In May I was told it would open in June. I am waiting for the truth. I have been a member for 5 years at a corporate Planet Fitness in Nashua, NH., and would like to transfer to a location closer to my house so I can get to the gym on a higher percentage rate. I would like to know the planned hours of operation for this location.

Im currently a member of Baileys gym on 103rd been there a year just joined planet fitness on the 22nd of December just wanted to walk in and look at the bartram location and get a free tour I was so impressed how the place looked I joined the same night,doesnt have a huge free wheight area that Im use to at Baileys but a lot of cardio machines which I use a lot and they have a lot of upper and lower body machines that I like and I love the hydro massage chairs,the best part I like its nationwide so when Im out of state I can still use my black card and go

Desperately need free weight barbell equipment. Make room by ditching some of the fancy machines. EDIT: I appreciate the owners response. First I want to say that PF is an excellent value to its members and has enough equipment to adequately train oneself. Ive provided the barbell feedback to the websites member feedback. Ive added a photo of the equipment and area that could be changed to get to 5+ stars in my own personal opinion. Again, PF is going an outstanding job. Keep up the good work.

Adding this comment 3/31/17 - the guy who trains people in the morning is a joke. While assisting people, he is on his phone texting. He doesnt pay attention to see if they are even lifting weights correctly. While doing class this morning, he wasnt going around helping people with their form or even encouraging people to push through the pain... What a joke this guy is!! Amazing crew... Love the morning crew. So nice and helpful, always keeping everything so clean.. Very attentive to members needs..

This is the nicest planet fitness I have ever been to! (Ive utilized about 20 facilities in Florida) Cleanliness is superb, plenty of equipment and the location is great! The only reason why I gave four stars is because the staff was not the friendliest. All of them were standing around talking to each other instead of greeting guests and had snooty attitudes. That isnt very inviting to someone taking their first steps towards a better future for themselves.

I left planet fitness previously because there wasnt one near me, when I moved to mandarin. I signed back up when I found out this one opened. Unfortunately, now that the hours are released, im afraid I may have to cancel. :/ Although it is close, I work 9:30-6 every day, so I would NEVER be able to go during the week. Super sad & wished they would extend their hours during the week or open earlier :/

I was a member of Anytime Fitness, and was a little upset when they closed their doors because they were only a mile and a half from my house. When I went to Planet Fitness just to check it out I was so pleased to see that they were 24/7 too, a beautiful place and cheaper then Anytime, and only 3 miles farther. It was a win-win for me.

My wife and I joined 2 weeks ago at this location. Weve been very impressed with the attitude of the members, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the gym. We love the black card options available to us, especially the hydro massage choices. Super excited and thankful to have added Planet Fitness to our weekly routine.

Looking forward to this location opening! The hours are 24 HOURS, unlike some reviewers have said - Ive called and verified this twice with them. The hours listed currently are for the sign-up office across the street, not the operating hours of the gym itself. Pays to do a little research ;)

now that you are open 24 hours I will now give you 5 stars! You are 5 minutes from my work, so I want to say thank you for realizing that a gym only open for 10 hours a day wasnt the best idea. Ive always loved planet fitness and I enjoy going! Thanks for opening up in old st Augustine!

Never belonged to a gym before. Staff is courteous. Non-judgemental. Helpful. I dont feel self-conscious here at all. Plus if you are a Black Card Member you can use the heated water massage beds and chairs! A $40 charge is you went to a chiropractor! Worth it!

Im rating 3 stars bc Im either really excited or disappointed. Im looking for a new gym and was excited to see this one! But Im confused on the hours. Some reviewers on here say its 24 hours, others are saying its not. So is it 24 hours? If it is, Im there!

Great location with a large assortment of different equipment. Big gym with plenty of room to stretch, theres always enough equip even at busy times. Friendly staff and very clean gym, always well maintained.

I was a little surprised as well to see the hours that they were open. I called them and the hours that are listed are for their sales location. Once the gym opens I was told it will be open 24 hours.

Tried to cancel my account and was told their computers were down, so they could charge me for another month. Manager was rude Ive got a feeling she could care less as long as she got a paycheck.
