This was my first time ever setting foot inside a Planet Fitness (PF). Now I know this place gets a lot of hell for its policies and draconian ways, but it wasnt all that bad. So Im in Jacksonville on a Friday night to pick up a new car tomorrow and LA Fitness is closed, theres no 24 Hour Fitness, theres no Life Time and definitely no Equinox. PF is the next best thing. So we pay our $20 day pass to the front desk and go on our merry way. Okay, so Im weighing this gym based on their membership rates of $10 and $19.95 for standard and premium, respectively. There are no bench presses, no power cages and not a single free bar in sight. Everything is cables, preselected weights and a ton of machines. Oh, yeah, and theres like five Smith Machines. Ew. Unlike LA Fitness, this place has an abundance of paper towels and spray bottles. Two at each station. Once you get past the shock of the garish color scheme, it isnt all that bad considering how damn cheap it is. Id personally go nuts if this was my regular gym, but I need a little more... Like bars that I can load myself and a place to do pullups. But for an emergency workout or the person thats just starting out, this place is gold. Now, I dont understand the pizza, bagels and Tootsie rolls. That is just craziness. Four solid stars for this individual location because its well kept and the new guy working the front desk was really good at his job. Oh, and if you pay a daily fee or have the premium (black card) membership, a Muscle Milk Pro is $2. You cant beat that.

Well run club with friendly front desk staff. They automatically give you two coins for the massage chairs, which is not true of some clubs, and are happy to give you more. Their massage chairs work well, which is also not true of some other clubs. The place is very clean and hasnt been very busy the few times Ive been there, so there has never been a wait for a machine of any kind. It is a smaller club, so it doesnt have as many pieces of equipment as some other Planet Fitness location, but it has everything I need. This location has both stand up and lie down tanning beds and hydrobed and chair options for massage. Some smaller clubs Ive visited do not have both options for tanning and massage, so that is a major plus. (I travel the country year round for work, so Ive visited MANY Planet Fitness locations).

A very comfortable fitness center. The locker rooms are right by the front desk (not a long walk) & the shirts offer hot water!!! The stretching room is cozy but not too small at all, with a nice mirror & lots of mats!! I just like the feel of this gym, its cozy & the lighting is dimmer (as opposed to brighter) which I REALLY appreciate. The WHOLE front wall (where all the ellipticals, treadmills, bikes, etc with the TVs overhead) is Large WINDOWS that offer a nice view of trees & the PARKING LOT. Nice!! The plaza has a Dollar General (& other good places!!) & is directly across from WalMart & a bowling alley. Customer Service is sweet, but this IS Planet Fitness, and they ARE known for that!!

This place is fantastic. No one wants to come to PF to workout so its always empty even if you walk in at 5 or 6pm. Its not a serious gym but if you cover up, and dont grunt or breath too loud, you should be good. Just watch out if you use strict form because everyone will look at you funny because they havent a clue. This could throw up a red flag as you being an infiltrator into their judgement free zone. Dont converse, keep to yourself, dont stare when you see these people ready to hurt themselves, and you are good to go, all for $10/mo.

I tried to get a membership and planet fitness which was close to my house so been two month Ive been going there one day I just overweight myself and drop the weight make some noise not like really crowded and noisy just slam the wait so the guy Who work at the front desk came to me and told me this is a warning for you if you slam the weight again we will cancel your membership so I said I will cancel it before you cancel it I cancel my membership immediately I will never ever go to planet fitness again

Place is really nice and great for all your work out needs! Has everything you want from single muscle workouts to benches squat machine and free weights. As well for cardio lover treadmills and bikes are provided. Locker rooms are clean and place opens 24/7 the only thing bad about this place is the prices! Definitely costly if not a member!

I loved this particular PF. They served coffee every morning too. They also had a few machines I had never seen at PF. The manager (Kailey) is the sweetest BOSS Ive ever met, and Lizz was pretty cool too. But Fayth stole my heart. Keep up the girl work, i mean good work.

They are theives do not sign a contract with them whenever your contract ends they auto renew it and try to rob you without your knowledge. I would never recommend them ....worst gym EVER

Lots of equipment but not kept clean. Lots of car breakins and hit and runs. My car was hit by a purple car that just took off in parking lot. Outside lighting poor.
