Received the worst service ever. I visit Jacksonville frequently to see family and friends. Well I decided to get my car cleaned instead of going to our usual place off of beach Blvd. Well I payed for the "BEST" car wash service after reviewing what comes in that order twice. I Went and paid for the full service in advance before the work was even completed. After the car was returned to us, the outside looked decent however, as we were driving off and further inspecting the car I noticed that nothing had been wiped off in the inside of the car and there was no air freshener. I the called the car wash company to complain and pretty much there was nothing that he could do or offer to do! He was a deer in the head lights. I explained to him I would write a review and he said Im sorry you feel that way.... I thanked him for not giving me a service at all but gladly receiving my money. I didnt check the car in full because I had to pick up my kids. . . I dont have time to come and sit at the car wash all day!!!! Or come back 5 times to get the 5 star service that the owner keeps promising in every response to a customers review.... I will not recommend this car wash to any one

Water Damage to AC Control Head I purchased a car detailing service from Clean Getaway on 1/16/16. My cars AC control head immediately began to malfunction, which I attribute is due to water damage from Clean Getaway’s negligence. Manager Jason E confirmed I should take the car to a mechanic, and that Clean Getaway would reimburse me for the expenses. The mechanic confirmed the AC control head needed to be replaced and recommended taking it to a dealership. The mechanic diagnosis was $103.61 and the dealership replacement cost was $546.34. Ive faxed all documentation to Clean Getaway, and Jason E has confirmed receipt. Ive had many phone conversations with Jason E and even a conversation with owner David Danzeisen. The consensus is that Clean Getaway will submit an insurance claim and I will be reimbursed for the costs associated with damage to my AC control head. However, several phone calls and several months later, I still have not received any compensation. Jason Hotaling, please follow up with Jason E and Dave on my behalf. They both know who I am and how to contact me. I still view this as an open matter.

Just left here 30 minutes ago. We usually go to the other car wash on beach blvd but they are closed on sunday so we decided to give this one a try. DO NOT GO HERE!! DO NOT GO HERE! We paid for the second to the last expensive package. I sat in the rocking chair and watched as the guy "cleaned" my jeep. He didnt do the inside windows or the side mirrors. He didnt even open up the back. He finally yelled Silver jeep and I made my way over to get my vehicle and leave. I go to get my keys from him and he pulls his hand back refusing to give them to me and says You pay inside?? Did you leave something for me on the piece of paper?? He didnt speak very good English so I wasnt sure what he was saying. I said No, I didnt leave anything for you about 3 times. He then threw the keys at me and yelled across the parking lot I GOT STIFFED GUYS!! Well... lets see; the jeep isnt even clean. The windows are still dirty and you didnt even wipe the outside down. So no; Im not tipping you. So unprofessional! I will never be back and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE about my experience here.

Wow, if you have a short attention span: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Horrible management, horrible experience. Why isnt there a 0 stars option? Ok, for those of you who are interested in the details: I signed up for a frequent wash card, bc I need to keep my truck clean for work. I had taken my Ford truck to Clean to get a wash; nothing unusual so far. When I pulled up to the entry, the elderly man (apparently hes the manager) yelled something to the girl who was taking my order for my wash. She informed me that I couldnt get my truck washed. I asked why, bc I had been there many times before. At this point, the manager came over to me and screamed - not yelled- but screamed at me that I couldnt get my truck washed. It was humiliating, and all for trying to give the car wash business. When I called later to find out why, my request to speak to the owner was completely blown off. Apparently customer service is if no importance to Clean GetAway: they must be doing fine. But neither myself, nor any of my friends and family will ever go back.

WARNING: Your car is not safe here! Stay away! I brought my car to Clean Getaway on 7/26/15 and sat down in the rocking chairs to wait for my car to be cleaned. As it came out of their automatic wash tunnel unmanned, I watched in horror as another vehicle came out right behind it, hit my car, and sent it propelling towards 3rd Street (A1A) with no driver. All of the employees just watched as my car picked up speed as it rolled towards this very busy road. Fortunately, my husband was able to sprint to my car, hop in and stop it just before my car went into 3rd Street. Had it made it to 3rd Street, I have no doubt that this would have caused a major accident with injuries or worse. As if this negligence was not bad enough, the entire situation was poorly handled by employees (who didnt finish vacuuming my husbands car) the manager (who could only say, "Ive never seen that before"), and the owner (who has yet to contact us even though the manager claimed to have left a message for him to contact us immediately). STAY AWAY!

One word: RUN. This place is horrendous - horrible job cleaning my car (I had to borrow the rag and go over obvious neglected spots) In an attempt to remove sticky residue off of my seat, the workers buffed out the color on my black leather seats, thus ruining them. The manager clearly suffers from intense anger and frustration (youre in the wrong business dude)- and responded by ignoring my requests to have the seat repaired and offered to submit it to insurance. Surprise surprise - upon following through with the insurance claim, I was met with ignored phone calls. Where is your southern hospitality now? Within the first 10 seconds of talking to this man, he pulled every rabbit out of the hat in attempt to BLAME me for this damage. My recommendation: go to ANYONE else. They will ruin your car. They have before (the manager let that bit of info slip) and they will do it again, while ignoring your efforts to resolve the issue.

I took my brand new Camaro SS here for a wash, and they thought it was ok to let their employee who didnt know how to drive manual get in and move my car. The guy screeched the tires and hit their rack that pulls the car through the wash, damaging my rims in the process. The car still has temporary plates on it and is now damaged. The manager said they would take care of it and would send someone to me to do the repairs, then avoided my calls for two weeks. Someone eventually reached out to schedule the repairs and said I would have to take my car to arlington Toyota to be repaired. I asked to take it to the chevy dealer instead and they said they cant because thats not how their setup works. I am appalled at the lack of concern they have for their customers. This is a horrible business. After all this, the wash was terrible! My car was still dirty when they got done. Take your money elsewhere folks.
