This was my first experience with a Hair Cuttery, and will be my last. To begin, when I called to make an appt they said they were walk in only, unless you know a stylist. Weird, but ok. I came in to have my daughters hair cut. We were greeted by a nice lady, but were handed off to a not-so nice lady who obviously would have preferred to be anywhere else. I gave her our information and to my dismay, she said she was ready to perform the haircut. She had 2" long fake nails, which I would imagine might make cutting hair actually tough, right?!? When my daughter explained what kind of cut she wanted shed kept telling her "no, that wont work" and made us BOTH feel like we were incompetent! I should have walked out right then, but we were desperate to get her haircut. The haircut was nothing fancy, and I should have known that coming into a place like this would fall WAY short to our expectations.

I was able to walk right in and be seen with no wait. Ande was wonderful. She asked good questions and really listened and understood what I wanted. She didnt try to upsell me on product or other services. I love my hair cut and had a positive experience. Would highly recommend Ande to anyone needing a great haircut or style advice.

Have used Haircuttery for 20+ years. Was happy when they came to Lakeland. If you get someone and your not happy let the manager know! Glad they brought back appointments! Wanda is the latest and greatest. There is one person there who I choose not to do my hair.
