Visit 1: A test was done on the vehicle and we were charged $80 for it. As well $90 oil change was performed. Over the next week several lights inside of the vehicle turned on. We found a large volume of oil in our driveway. We returned the car to him. See Visit 2. Visit 2: Allen (the owner) admitted that the oil change was faulty. Allen stated that the oil filter was at fault. As well, Allen performed $300 in tests to figure out why the check engine light was coming on - some of the same tests he performed the first visit. When our debit card was declined we asked if we could write a check - he said Make it out to cash. The Next Evening - Car stopped running while driving home from work. Check engine light came on again. Had to spend $80 to tow it to the dealership (at this point we no longer trusted Allen or his competency with this vehicle). Spent $450 to replace the fuel filter - and do even more tests. Follow up visit to discuss: Went in to Allen to request my money back as the services we paid for he performed badly. Laid out the bill of the costs that we had to cover to manage the process. Allen offered $229 as a refund for his botched services, said take it or leave and said to sign a release form. When we said that wasnt fair and I showed him the below list of items that we felt he owned us Allen immediately called me a schmuck, told me to take him to court and raised his voice. One of his employees called the police on me. Cops came and said there was nothing to do. $80 Original incorrectly read scan. $95 - oil change refund that Allen admitted to screwing up. $275 - three scans which were run because Allens oil change screwed up our car and because Allen couldnt figure out what was wrong. $80 - Price we had to pay for the car towing. $105 - Four hours of our time that we had to waste going back to Allens shop in three different visits. We are currently deciding how to proceed with small claims as Allen refused to refund us our money in the police officers presence.

Awful service, avoid at all cost. My car had a gasoline leak near the filler tube. I had never been to this repair shop before. I explained to their mechanic what I thought the issue was (a bad gasket from the filler tube to the gas tank). I told mechanic to check the car anyways to see if that really was the issue or if it was something else. I left the car and they “repaired” it. My wife had to pick the car as I was not able to get it, she told me when she went to pick up the car the desk mechanic was very rude to her and proceeded to tell her that the repair had no guarantee and stamped that on the receipt. When I found what had happened, I tested the car and tried to add gas to it, it leaked just as bad as before! I called the shop and asked them what they had done; the person there told me they had changed exactly what I told them to change. I explained to the person that I told them what I thought the issue was and had asked them to check the car anyways to find what was the cause of the leak. The person there told me that if I wanted the problem diagnosed then I’d have to pay extra for that. So it seems you have to take the car to their shop and not tell them what you think the issue is otherwise they just replace parts without doing any diagnostic work. Needles to say I lost my money. People wonder why small businesses go out of business. First and last time! I took my car to reputable shop explained the same thing to the tech there. Tech did check the car and found that the there was some other issue and that it wasn’t the gasket, but at least he checked the car out and diagnosed the issue before just changing out parts.

This is a well run family business. I am only in Davie for short term and didnt have an auto store that I trusted. My car broke down and asked the Tow truck driver to take it to A place that (starts with f, ends rhymes with drone), but he said that he knew a place that would be honest, fair and possibly cheaper. He took me to Golden Hands Auto Repair. One place (starts with s rhymes with stone) said i needed a new battery, and alternator work. But Golden hands said i just needed alternator worked and saved me money the first go around. Since I am lucky enough, my car had another issue recently and had to bring it back to him. Both times he had my car done within 24 hours and each time he was by far cheaper than any other place I consulted. He wont give you estimates until they get a chance to actually assess the problem but every time he called me back wihtin 4-6 hours for an estimate he would give me options about different routes we could take. Good honest work.
