This is the worst US Post Office I have ever been to. I own an eBay store, and therefore ship items through USPS often. Each time I visit this location I leave irritated, and with a headache. The lines are always outrageously long (30 minute minimum), and the staff is always ineffective and extremely rude. Also, there is no system for correcting mismarked or improperly prepared packages (which is part of the reason lines are always so long). This means that when individuals have packages that are improperly labeled or improperly sealed, USPS cashiers allow individuals to make corrections to these packages AT THE DESK, instead of off to the side. Thus, everyone in line must wait for others to fix mistakes, which is very time consuming and entirely unfair. For example: a man came in today with TWELVE packages he was sending to Italy, and he had used the wrong type of tape to seal them. The USPS representative allowed him to cut open EACH box, bubble wrap the contents of EACH box (perfume), and THEN tape up each box again with the correct tape. The ordeal took about 25 minutes, and there was only one other cashier. The line was out the door, and we all stood helpless, watching this man cut open and then re-seal his 12 packages. When people in line complained and asked the man to step aside so that others might be helped while he fixed his mistakes, both the man and the USPS cashier helping him ignored requests. This caused another man waiting in line to become outraged, and he got into a shouting match (almost a fist fight) with the man sending the 12 packages. Finally, after being asked several times, and after the fist fight almost occurred, a manager came out and opened up another register to help those waiting. All of this could have been avoided, had there been a clear and ENFORCED system on fixing improperly prepared packages. Also, after I left, I attempted to call the store SEVERAL times to leave a formal complaint with a supervisor, but the phone just rang and rang, and no one answered. This was the last time I will ever use the Coconut Creek location. If you have the time, I recommending making the drive to Coral Springs, to use the facility there.

As someone else said, Im only giving a star so that I can post my concern and frustration!! I am NEW to the area (1 week) and already they have lost my 12.6 package! Tracking number shows received but I was home all day and yet, no one ever knocked on my door! Talked to a "supervisor" who advised he would need to speak to his mail carrier and would call me back and actually said bye and attempted to hangup before I stopped him and asked if he needed my name and telephone number to do just that!?!?From all the comments listed here, I am very fearful that I will ever truly know what happened to my package or have it properly delivered/return (something) or ever get that call back. I will do everything in the future to prevent anything of importance sent to my home (which is extremely sad and unacceptable) since I am still waiting for a return call from the "supervisor"....it has now been over the professional courtesy of 24 hrs.....*NEW resident of Margate and NOT happy! :(

OUTRAGEOUS!!!! I just got out of there after waiting in line for one hour and 4 minutes to pick up a certified letter. Manager at "express window" told me to go get the notice and when I returned he was gone! Asked the lady if he was coming back out she said to stay in line he left the building. She was waiting on a guy from Westway towing who was sending out what looked like over one hundred certified letters.(dont get me started on them). He was still there when j finally left. Why not ask him to come at a less busy time? Why not limit his transactions? Why not have your best clerk go to lunch when the line is out the door with customers who can only make it in on their lunch break, who like me may have had no choice but to go there. All would have been prevented had they made another attempt to deliver my letter. Lots of people left disgusted while I was in line. Lady who waited in me was very nice but AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

With all the bad reviews maybe I was lucky. Was a little concerned when they told me on my first attempt that my package was not there but then again I had just visited the same day they tried to deliver at my home and maybe the carrier still had it in his truck. On my next visit attempt on Saturday I expected it to be full packed with people and was not disappointed but the flow was OK. Even their supervisor came to help and collected a bunch of our pink slips and "killed several birds with the same stone" as to say. All in all had no problems but it was my first package as I just moved into the area. Let see what happens on my future delivery. My next is this Tuesday. Will edit and keep all posted.

My mail person had never dropped a note in my mailbox signifying that there was a package I had to sign for. I waited for this package for a month and a half and finally decided to call the post office to find they had it. No notice, no phonecall or anything, just a guessing game. When I went in to pick it up instead of apologizing, they had used every excuse possible of why the mailman hadnt left a notice when I asked. 90% of the time there is someone at my house to sign for a package but everytime a package comes that needs to be signed for through USPS it always ends up at the post office. Never have this trouble with FedEx or UPS

Omg, this person on the phone is the worst I ever spoke to in customer service. Damm I dont know why some ppl have a job with such stinky attitude. They would not answer their phone till 9:30 am and they put me on hold for 26mn wen I call back she had an attitude and put me back on hold for another 11mn and then hang up!! I was so frustrated I had to physically go their to find whats wrong going on, and the line was another killer... yet I never found my package. I think the city should really pay attention to the work these ppl are delivering because it doesnt look good for our community.

Absolutely the worst post office. They hang up, then leave the phone off the hook so you cant call back. They have lazy carriers that mark parcels "incorrect address" just so they dont have to deliver them. They only deliver or mail once every third or fourth day: things that should only take two days to be delivered end up taking weeks (literally). If you live in this service area, have your mail delivered somewhere else! We are lodging formal complaints because this kind of abuse of a civil utility is unacceptable! I am only giving one star because you cant give zero and leave a comment.

This place is trash; I received a package from a company that charged my card twice and sent me my order twice. I was told to refuse the package and have it shipped back to the warehouse so I can get my money back, I did that and somehow my package ended up in this post office and now its saying online that there is no such tracking for this package any longer. I need my money back from this order and they to reimburse me for losing my package. I feel like someone stole my package! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!! VERY UNRELIABLE!! HATE THIS PLACE!
