Stylist was extremely rude for no apparent reason. I walked in and she walked up to the counter with a typical canned greeting and I said Hi, I was just checking to see how much a haircut here is. She said $16.50. I said, no thanks and proceeded to leave. She then said I wouldnt find it anywhere cheaper on the island. I said you mean, like across the street where I usually get my haircut for $11 to $13 depending on which of two barber shops I go to. She responded, you get what you pay for, upon which I responded, like what an ACTUAL BARBER. Considering usually the place I go to does a great job for a fairer price. I thanked her for her kindness and consideration in a doublespeak fashion and left. I can point out with my hair type I have always came out better going to a barber and my girlfriend hated her hair cut she got at this place as well influencing my decision to just wait til my usual barber shop was open than to give a box store chain a shot at $16.50. The rudeness of this individual made zero sense to me. Is she thinking she can harass me into wanting a pissed off worker to cut my hair for 16.50. All she succeeded in is reenforcing my tendency not to do business with chains. Not to mention the scene this behavior made with other clients already there. All around inappropriate. Id rather cut my own hair than give that lady a dime.

Im sorry if you have had an unpleasant experience here. There are so many ways for people to schedule a haircut for example, you can call ahead, go online, or use the mobile app and you can walk in. There are days were theyre very busy and between answering phones, signing guests in, cleaning up their stations and trying to please the person in their chair the best they can and trying to be efficient as possible but everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes and everyone runs behind. These girls tend to get under pressure sometimes, plz dont let one bad experience keep you from going back. I would rather have the stylist take their time to give me a good cut and I dont understand why the next person in line wouldnt want the same. This salon is busy. These girls are busy. I do suggest making a reservation, its not an appointment... lemme break it down for you in short words, calling ahead you may only wait one haircut as to if you just walk in you may be 4th or 5th in line at an hour wait or so. I love this salon and these girls are only human as everyone else.

PLEASE READ I have gotten good haircuts from here before. But now there is a lady who works there with blue hair. DO NOT LET HER TOUCH YOUR HEAD. Im a guy and my hair was maybe 3 inches long on top. So I went in and asked for a simple fade and a trim (I said take a quarter inch off) on top. I wish I could attach pictures but there were lines on the side of my head where she attempted to fade and instead of a trim on top she put a guard on and used clippers and gave me a buzz cut. Ive been growing my hair for months and now I have a very short buzz cut. I had to immediately go to a barber shop to get it fixed. She didnt even ask me when she was done if I liked it or let me look at the back (which was also butchered). And on top of everything even if my haircut was good she was very rough with my head and I actually thought she cut my ears a few times. I could keep venting but just please dont waste your money here. I got a very bad buzz cut which I didnt even ask for.

We have been here half a dozen times and at first I liked it. Easy to walk in during off peak hours, but during peak hours they are slammed. Sometimes 2 hours waits.... Some of the staff only complain to their clients as they are cutting hair, and they are rude to walk-ins. They need a dose of training on customer service and pleasantries.

Checked my boyfriend in for an 11:30 (estimated) appointment. Looked on the website for their wait times at 12pm and it says 0 minutes of wait....but he is still waiting and its currently 12:30pm....ridiculous!

They say they take walk-ins but they couldnt take me and wanted to give me an appointment and hour and a half later. I was told I dont have enough time before my next appointment.

Good place, but as with any haircut location, you have to test out all of the stylists to find the one that works for you. Can be pretty hit or miss.
