If youre looking for great color and cut, see Samantha "Sam" Adams! Im very picky about my hair; whether its a cut or color, I want to get what I ask for and what I pay for. This leads me to Visions Salon. I heard about it through a friend after I saw her hair color and loved it. I originally saw Tara Weldon, who is fabulous with both hair color and cut. Because of a reschedule, I wasnt able to see Tara when I wanted to, one of the girls at the front desk suggested Samantha Adams. It wasnt an easy decision to go with another stylist, especially after being with Tara for about a year...but, I really wanted a change in hair color and my schedule was busy, so I took a chance on Sam. I cant stress enough how happy I am that I did. For a newer stylist on the floor, she did an absolutely amazing job. She confirmed what I wanted before she did anything to make sure we were both on the same page; she was through with the extensive coloring process - which included getting rid of the highlights I had by dying the base of my hair a color that turned out more beautiful than I could have chosen myself and is very similar to my natural color (so the growing out process isnt very noticeable, which Im grateful for), she then did ombre on the underneath with blondes, and balayage on the top part of my hair also with blondes. The end result was better than I could have expected! Sam made the colors blend seamlessly, so you cant tell exactly where the blonde starts, which makes it look very natural and gorgeous. Shes also meticulous when it comes to haircuts, and while in the past my mom has had to fix botched haircuts, Sams haircut was perfect (remember, I said Im picky, so I dont use that word lightly.) I love both Tara and Sam, and Ive recommended both of them to multiple friends, because I trust that theyll do a great job. The entire staff of the salon is friendly and attentive. Shanna (sp?) is extremely nice and gives the best scalp massages while washing your hair. I now see Sam on a regular basis because I truly love what she does with my hair and we are at the point now where she knows what I do and dont like. Her services are less expensive than some of the other designers that have been on the floor longer, but the work she does proves that sometimes you dont always need to be the most experienced person if you have a natural talent, and thats exactly what she has. While I normally dont write reviews, especially ones this long, I felt the need to express how much I appreciate that Visions has true professionals on their staff. I cant suggest Samantha Adams and Visions Salon enough, theyre just wonderful. P.S. After Sam colored and cut my hair, I got so many compliments on my hair and I still get compliments three months later. You cant ask for a better result than that!

Ive been going to Visions Salon for several years. The staff is great...very personable, they make you feel welcome! Tracy was my stylist and coloist for several years, absolutely love her, she is so talented. Due to scheduling conflicts I started going to Tara...I cant say enough great things about her...Love my color and cut each and evertime. A few months ago I started having an allergic reaction to a chemical that is found in the hair dye that Ive been using quite regualry. After going and having allergy testing done it turns out that Im highly allergic to a commom chemical that is found in alot of hair dyes, perfumes and beauty products. Tara was very concerned and called me regualarly to see how I was doing. She asked for the print out the doctor gave me outlining excatly what it was I was allergic to, she personally called the chemists who worked for the line of hair coloring products Visions Salon uses to determine if the chemical I am allergic to was in their products, she also went through ALL of the shampoo in the salon and found one that does not have the specific chemical in it. Tara, in my opinion, went above and beyond for me. I am so grateful for her kindness. Not only is she a very talented colorist and stylist, she is a very caring person.

Having just moved to the area, I went looking for someplace/someone who could continue cutting my hair in the same pixie-cut style that Id been wearing for the past few years. I researched various salons on the Internet and finally settled on Visions, based on location, online recommendations, likely cost, etc. When I went in for my appointment, I was introduced to Gabby, who turned out to be very nice, as well as capable of interpreting my description and photos into the hairdo I wanted! The reason for my giving the salon only four stars, instead of five, is the cost! That haircut cost me more than twice as much as I had been paying in the northeastern part of the country! Therefore, I did not choose to go back. Instead, I asked around and am now getting an equally excellent cut for a little less than half the price.

While I love my cut and color....my pocket did not like the sticker shock! $225 later for a cut and color ...WOW I think Ill drive back the hour and a half to see me gal that I have had for 20 years and pay $75. I have a pixie cut and just highlights done. The staff was very friendly and my stylist was great she listened to what I wanted and needed.... I just cant pay $225 plus a $20 tip and a $5 tip to the shampoo girl every 3 months for up keep. Ill pop in for a trim here and there as long as its not over $30. Man Im still in shock!!! I could understand if I had LONG hair. I would recommend the salon to others I would just let them know how expensive it was!!!

I have had the extreme pleasure to have been introduced to Visions in 2008 and have never left since first checking them out. Some people go to expensive spas for pedicures or manicures, but with the talent they have at Visions, you get an incredible headicure with their shampoo artists. Then you are escorted to your stylist while being asked if there is anything else you would like them to bring you. Visions is a place of laughter, fun, professionalism - and just some of the best stylists you could ever ask for. Jessica has been my world class stylist since 2008 and is stuck with me for a VERY long time. Capn Larenzo

I came into the Salon with hair that was so badly damaged and breaking off everywhere. I met with Gabby for a consult and then came back for a cut. I knew that it was going to have to be cut short but I wanted it to be healthy. My natural color is what they call dish water blonde, I so needed a new cut. We decided to go a nice warn chocolate brown. I am so happy with the cut and color. My hair looks healthy and I feel wonderful. I have no idea why I have not come to you in the first place, I know that I will not be going anywhere else from now on. LOVE, LOVE my new look. Cathleen Shaughnessy
