This post office and their truck drivers are the worst. We had been missing a package of medication for my mother, who is a 100% disabled veteran, for over a week. Calling daily and even my father visiting the post office a day after it should have been delivered gave zero results. I was finally able to go to the post office myself and the experience was disgusting. I have the tracking number pulled up on the USPS website with the large bar that fills up and it says, In Transit. The reason Im showing the webpage is to show the tracking number so she could look for it but she goes another way. The woman takes one look at it and says, Oh, its in transit, its not here. Are you serious. I said, No, it was in transit on the 17th. It should be here now. She just stares at me and asks if a pink slip was left, no one was not, then says, I dont know, its not here. I push harder, she asks for my last name and address, walks towards the back and then LITERALLY LOOKS AT A BLANK WALL and comes back, says, Nope, not here, sorry. ...Yes, it is. She says, Okay well Ill have to get a supervisor to tell you it isnt here then, can you go stand over there. and flaps her hand generally away from herself. Supervisor comes out, actually writes down the tracking number and last name, and finds it within 2 minutes. Course, the woman who was too lazy to do her job is the one I have to check out with and I quip, Crazy how easy something is to find when you actually look for it. She hollers, Youre welcome! as I walk out. What a piece of work. The truck drivers routinely skip their routes, resulting in mail arriving even weeks late. When youre a veteran that can mean the difference between medication and appointments when theyre scheduled or being put on a 6 month wait to be seen again...which has actually happened because they decided not to deliver appointment slips.

I was very sad to hear of my daughters experience this morning in your Post Office. Seriously, she is 8 months pregnant and with two little girls, one of whom having a very difficult time. A postal worker came and asked her to leave her coveted place in line to go quiet the child down because the workers couldnt think with all the racket. My daughter had already stood in line to get a box since your display was out, then had to get back in line. This is all fine and expected when you go to the post office but what is not expected is to be asked to leave the line and quiet your child. Is there such thing as compassion or even customer service in the Merritt Island post office? Why couldnt any of you workers have helped her or at least brought her to the front of the line so she could get finished and out of there in a hurry. Instead she felt she had no choice but to leave. Kindness and civility are a dying art in our country.

Very inconsistent service Two of us home all day awaiting package; No attempt, left pickup notice int he mail box; Didnt bother to come to the door. Sometimes packages are left at the garage door; other times in the bush by the front gate (either case rain soaked usually by the time i discover them) Long wait lines. You can forget that postmans creed here.

Never delivers packages to my address on deliver date to drive P.O. Box sales and the post master is THE PROBLEM! I cant wait to report this place. What a ratty post office! Also none of the staff except jaron knows how to do firmbook mailing protocols! Its ridiculous! DRIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Moved into a townhouse where they have key entry mailboxes.....gave me a key said maintenance would be out in two/three days to put new lock on..pfffft! Been two weeks!!! Cant get my mail or packages and I work from home!! Also phone has been busy for a week now!! SERIOUSLY??????

After 2 years, the people at this post office still cannot get my address right. I had people live with me and then move out. Ive never left this place, yet my mail gets sent to the other peoples address. What a joke.

My package has gone missing! Trying to track it down or to get someone to call you back is crazy. Im still waiting, not only am I out the money but I was told several times "this happens all the time".

just went to the office, a bit apprehensive due to prior reviews...i was in and out, only a short wait, and while i was there, the 3 postal employees were pleasant, competent, and efficient.

This post office is dreadful...any time of year. Poor management...no personnel...long wait times. They have lost more than a couple of my packages. Wow...drive to Cocoa Beach PO.
