I was in need of a storage unit and found Life Storage from the great reviews. And it did not disappoint at all! I met with Roberto Bonilla who was very professional, patient and informative. He took the time to properly estimate my storage needs. He then showed me several units and gave his opinion about it and how it might meet my needs. This facility is extremely clean! I did not notice a spec of dirt or debris in the office, elevator, common areas nor in either of the 5 units that I viewed. The storage floors even smelled clean! Roberto then provided all the necessary information and detail regarding the contract, fees and storage procedures. They provide monthly pest control to the entire facility which is included in the base rental price. There are several verification steps through the facility, ensuring utmost security. In addition they have active security camera thought that are displayed in the office. I had a list of other facilities to view before deciding on one providing cleanliness and safety for my things but did not see any of the others because I found nothing wrong with Life Storage. In fact, it exceeded my expectations for what I was looking for.

I rate this facility and their customer service a full five stars without any hesitation whatsoever. Because people may require storage of this sort at somewhat critical times in their lives, it is important for the process to be as stress free and non-intrusive as possible. The service I received was so accommodating it made me forget what a stressful day I had just had prior to arriving at their facility. I was treated with utmost dignity and respect and within 30 minutes I had control over my own 5 feet X 5 feet highly secure, ultramodern storage I had ever seen. It was a strange mix of what I can only describe as military grade precision, clarity and efficiency being dished out by courteous, disciplined and caring civilians (or at least they looked like civilians to me). If you can imagine futuristic storage, delivered by ordinary humans in a concrete office building in Miami then you can imagine Uncle Bobs.

This place was wonderful and fit my needs perfectly. The climate-controlled environment kept all of my items in the same condition they were in when I first dropped them off. Mario was extremely helpful and professional; he made the check-out process easy and efficient. When I arrived there with a large rented truck not only did Mario come out to greet me, but also he helped me park it in the loading dock! This person went above and beyond what his position calls for and truly enjoys his work. If you have any storage needs in this area, ask for Mario Ramil at Uncle Bobs Self Storage.

Everyone Ive met here has been truly awesome! I was dreading moving storage and had been shopping around for a convenient an affordable spot, and this place was the closest for me.. and the staff is the friendliest. Dario, Stephanie, and Roberto have all been great. The free truck rental when you first move in makes for an easy move-in process. This facility really feels safe and well-lit, is very clean, and in a great area. Thanks Uncle Bobs!!!!

This is, by far, the best storage facility around. The building itself is clean, safe, and very secure. I know that belongings and myself, are in excellent hands. The staff at location in South Miami, is top notch. Mario provides OUTSTANDING customer service, and should teach a class to others on how to treat customers. Hes the best! I wouldnt trust my belongings to anyone or anywhere else!

One of my big projects is to rate the storage industry lets see how Uncle Bobs rates. Pros: The name alone feels like home, very clean, truck ramp, no contracts, wine storage, free truck, all units a/c, security, cams, covered parking and good customer service. Cons: Hidden location hard to find, Overall nice place and they give good tours. Stayed tune to see whos next.

FEES CHANGED without notice after making reservations at the 1-800 number. Be sure to examine the fine-print of the required "Storage Insurance" clause-- they may seek payment though the clause may not apply to you. The building and facilities are quite nice. Regarding the management, team member "Jodie" was difficult to deal with and quite unprofessional.

Since I first placed my items at Uncle Bob in South Miami, Florida in 2011, the staff when Mario, Madelyn were around everything was clean and organized. The new management need to pay close attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom. Otherwise they are friendly. The old staff are always a 5 star or better. The new staff could improve.

My husband and I have been at this location for long time, recently we get a second space and they help us to find a good size to cover our needs for a very good price and in the same floor!!! Thank you guys for helping us with the mov in process, I would highly recommend this place!

The place is clean and with a comfortable temperature, I have not been to other storages of this type but one thing I think will be helpful is to have light inside the storage room not limited to the aisle. There must be a reason why there is not but I then have to carry a Lantern.

I truly appreciate this storage facility because of the manager,Robert, and the other associates. They are helpful in every way. The floors are kept extremely clean. The majority of the tenants are respectful. The bathrooms are clean and open even after the office closes.
