I am 99% sure that they intentionally damage things on peoples car to get them to come back and pay for more work. every time I had them fix something, a week later something else would break. I was stupid and kept taking the car back to them because they were in a convenient location. I told my friend about all the problems I was having with my car and she asked "is it by any chance plaza tire and auto?" It turned out that she had taken her car to these guys also and the same thing happened to her! Her car was a Toyota that was fairly new and was just off warranty and it was breaking down every week. when she stopped taking it to plaza tire and auto, it stopped breaking down. The people in the office seem nice, but something is very wrong about that place. I believe that they intentionally make holes in things, tighten things and weaken certain parts of the car so that they will break. If anyone has proof that they are doing this I would love to see them get reported to the police.

Im giving them a 5 because they were able to fix my car within 40min. It was a walk in, I didnt make an appointment, they were extremely busy, it was lunch time so most of the guys where out. I needed to get the headlight bulbs change, and I didnt mind to wait a couple of hours or even come back later to pick up my car. The manager was a little bit overwhelmed with the amount of work they had that day but he was able to get one of his guys to take care of my car. Im a happy customer and Im coming back if I ever need it!

DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. Used them a while back when I was in Miami on vacation, they were the only place open at the time. They told me my alternator was bad and my battery died. Got the alternator checked when i got back to town and turns out it was fine. The one they replaced it with burned out and I put the original back in and it works just fine. All I needed was a new battery but I ended up paying for a battery, alternator, and the labor to have both installed. They are criminals dont ever use them.

I had an excellent experience at Plaza Tire and Auto! Sherri was so nice and accomodating. I called and even though they had to order my tires, they were able to service my car the next day at whichever time was convenient for me. The entire staff was very nice and I felt at home waiting for my car to be finished. I will definately take my car back here for any other servicing I need! Thanks again Plaza Tire & Auto!

Their service has gone way down in the last 2 years. I dropped my car off at 10am to have my brakes fixed. They said they would call me when they were finished but never did. I went back around 4pm to ask if my car was ready. They told me my total but offered no explanation or apology. When I asked why they didnt call, i got the silent treatment. Needless to say, Im never going back.

took my SUV for a regular oil change around 9am, they told me to come back in a hour for the car. I came back in 2 hours and they told me they did not have the oil filter so they went to get it at the dealer (my care was ready at around 4pm!!). I would have taken my car to another place, but they had already drained the old oil. by the way it was around 70$!! ill never be coming back here.

I use to always take my car here, until I realized how badly I was being ripped off. Being charged for an hours worth of labor for something that took less than 15 minutes to do, is absolutely ridiculous and is not a good way to do business, in my opinion. There are a lot better options in the area.

DO NOT take your car here! I had them repair a belt on my car, but after I picked it up I only got a few miles away when the belt snapped off. The owner made ME arrange to get it towed back to his shop at MY expense so that they could repair it...again!

A great place. They seem to be very knowledged and easy to talk to. Very different from most shops. Having been a mechanic in the past I can tell when Im talking to an idiot. These guys are great and put me at ease when I leave my car with them.

A good mechanic is like a good doctor or hair stylist: when you find one you like, you dont want to change. Ive been taking my cars here for 15 years, and I trust them completely. So convenient to have them in Edgewater, too.

We have a 6-year-old BMW, and weve tried a few shops since the warranty lapsed. These guys have been the best so far. They even found and fixed issues which two BMW dealerships couldnt figure out. Great job!

They Suck, I took my care there and my motor mounts kept going bad, I think they use cheap parts and charge more money for them. They are a bunch of crooks....
