On December 15th 2016 I dropped off my 2009 Volkswagen Routan with a transmission problem. I was told that the car would be diagnosed and that an WRITTEN ESTIMATE & DIAGNOSTICS would be given to me since I needed it for insurance purposes as well as to forward it to the lender. Chris at AAMCO assured me that he would be able to provide that to me. Today I called AMMCO in Fort Myers and asked JOSH for the pricing of the service in questions. I was told that it was FREE and I was charged 129.22 at AAMCO in Naples just for them to look at the car and to tell me something that I already knew. No report was provided the only thing that was provided was a receipt with the charge of the 129.22 Now the lender is not accepting that receipt and AMMCO of Naples is refusing to provide me with the WRITTEN DIAGNOSTICS & ESTIMATE that they had promised me. I decided to call AAMCO of Naples once again and I had asked them why they charged me for the diagnostics fee in his shop when the one in Fort Myers was FREE and I was very rudely told that "We charge what we want its our shop". I asked for a refund and it was DENIED. I should have known that this place was JOKE the minute that he quoted me a price over the phone and as soon as I said it was too high he then lowered the price by 2k. Save your self the 129.22 and drive your car to the AAMCO in Fort Myers where they will do whats right for FREE.

Not the best experience. Though they did make my car drivable, they never diagnosed the exact problem with the transmission, even after I payed the $132.00 for a diagnostic and quote. While there,Chris was respectful but also didnt resolve the issues with my car. He let me know that the transmission was deteriorating but that he didnt know exactly what was wrong with it... when he told me what he thought was wrong with it he started with "I bet"... Ultimately, I still dont know whats wrong with my transmission. I paid $132.00 for no exact diagnostic, and the quote? He said I need $2,500 to rebuild the transmission, but I guess a new transmission would fix any transmission problem, right?

Due to a fluid leak, the transfer case on my SUV began making humming noises which over several months became louder and foretold a big problem. Given that for me this was going to be an expensive repair, I shopped the repair work among the dealer and three independent shops. In speaking with the experienced guys at Aamco, they questioned whether the information I had been provided was accurate--not all of it was! Chris provided me the best price, and the best (nationwide) 12 month/12K warranty on a used transfer case. The work was performed in two days, as promised. I am very pleased with this company and especially this location.

The team at Aamco in Naples took care of my issue with my shift cable. They were extremely busy, but worked me in on a busy Monday. My repair was a bit complicated but Dan (owner) and Chris (manager) took the time to explain my problem to me and let me know what needed to be done to fix it right. They even arranged for a rental car for me for a fraction of the normal cost! I would recommend these guys for any repair you need to your vehicle. If they can fix transmission problems, which are extremely complicated, they can fix anything! I live about 30 minutes away, but worth the drive! Rick B

There is no way to determine honesty. But my car had no problems, after visit aamco for change seal transmition and chance a hose start all my problems in my car..... How you can explain after our visit 3 days later freon low to 25% and go to another mecanic just to refillthe freon. Thats mean aamco want that you cone back a week later. 2 weeks later starting motor had problems. I DONT knok but its very coincident. So, if you want to married with AAMCO just make one visit

These guys are the best. My mom and I were out running errands and the car started to smell hot and shake. Aamco was right there. How lucky for us!! They treated us with kindness and respect. Took such good care of my 85 yr old Mama!! Oh, and the car? They found the problem quickly. explained it thoroughly, and had us back on the road earlier than we expected. Service and cost was great. NO complaints from us. Thank you, AAMCO!!!

Chris was very attentive and responsive; he diagnosed the problem with our Buick Rendevous at a cost that was a fraction of the quote given by a competitor, all with a smile! I have or HAD been dealing with a transmission problem that NO ONE seemed able to resolve UNTIL I called Chris, Dan, and their guys. Not only were they VERY professional, worked in a timely manner but they also broke everything down into laymans terms so I could understand the scope of work that needed to be done. First time going to AAMCO of naples and I can honestly say I have become a customer for life! I worked with the service manager chris and he was beyond helpful with any questions that I had. not to mention how fast they get everything done!! I have been to a few places around naples and none can compare to the service that I recieved at AAMCO. Truly the best there is!

The team at AAMCO did a great job on the transmission repair on our Honda Odyssey last year. When we suspected a hick-up later Dan got the vehicle towed to the shop at no charge for a check-up. later it was clear the problem was not related to the transmission. Before going to AAMCO, I had already paid out about $1,500.00 between the dealership, Tires Plus, and a recommended mobile mechanic. My transmission was still acting up. It has been almost a week since the date of service at AAMCO and I have no transmission issues. As far as I can tell, AAMCO fixed the problem and it cost me less than $250.00! Thank you AAMCO!

Great experience with a clutch change for my Gen 5 Camaro. Everything was completed in half a day. Great leadership here, was notified by phone of status of the job, when they started, then they were almost finished, and when they were completed. Total car care offered so Ill definitely be bringing my car here from now on. Highly recommended and very professional!
