Took my car in to this Tuffys on Jan 23 at 10 am for an oil change. Arranged a ride home to wait for the work. Tuffys never called, never let me know what is going on. Called at 4:10 pm and found out they had closed at 4 pm. (My fault on a bit of this as I thought they closed at 5 pm, not 4 pm.). They put the car in the shop, locked it up and never let us know they were leaving. Had they called or made any attempt to communicate we would have came and got it as my son uses that car from work. This was the last straw with that Tuffys. Between quotes that are way too high, trying to upsell me on things they dont need, slow service, oil filters not installed tight, oil dripped all over the inside of the car and a plethera of other minor things, they have lost my business and I cannot recommend them. Find somewhere else, these folks dont deserve your hard earned money. 1/26/16 - Read owners comments below. The phone numbers on the receipt I got from the oil change are the correct numbers. Phone log on both my cell and my home phone do not show any call from them being made. Wonder of caller ID today. In addition my teenage son, who took the car in, had to initial that they were the correct numbers. Ive taken 3 different vehicle to them for maintenance over the course of the last 5 years. They have managed to call in the past. The excuse below should show you their attitude.

I have been having brake issues with my 2008 Ford Escape for months. Tried small fixs here and there but eventually it got to a point after a botched brake bleed job and caliper replacement, I lost all function and my brakes went out. Called around to many places, obviously frustrated and Tuffys was my last attempt. I spoke to John who gave trusting advice over the phone, offered great deals and suggested GMT Towing who was wonderful to work with as well. Had the car towed to Tuffys and John called me back within the hour, found the exact problem and fixed it INCREDIBLY quickly! I have been to many shops for maintenance before and this is the first time I have ever used Tuffys and I must say, completely satisfied not only with customer service but how efficient my car was taken care of. My car is my last hope through a very difficult time I have been dealing with personally so the care I received from this repair shop was wonderful to have. THANK YOU Tuffys and THANK YOU John for your compassion. I will definitely be using you for all my future service needs!

I appreciate my experiences so far with Tuffy. Jay provides excellent customer service and is nice to deal with. I have felt like the price was high before, but they have also offered discounts and coupon options that make me feel better about it. They will work with you! And I think people forget that cars are not cheap! Also, it makes me feel more confident when I understand the nature of what they are working on. They have taken the time before to take me in the shop and show me what needed repair on my brakes and why. Also, the other day I was driving in the rain and decided I really needed to get my tire pressure checked, my light was on. I showed up at the shop, realized they were about to close, and they still checked all my tires and added air, on the house! AND if you need a ride home or somewhere after drop off, they will take you. I appreciate you Tuffy crew!

I had been here once before had a great experience, so I came back. This time was far less than a good experience. Came in to get an alignment and an oil change. Left car seemed to be losing power. Called to let them know immediately. They asked me to bring it back in, but I couldnt make it back before they closed after I got off work. Car seemed fine after work even the next morning. That evening after work an oil leak was brought to my attention. After further inspection the oil cap was missing! I called and of course they were closed! Called at 8 am when they opened and talked to the same guy, he said when can you get it here? I drove here. They took my car back and said theyd make it right... Well see... Now I wait..

So this is the usual place I go to for oil changes and I had a tire changed once there. I went in there today to ask them if they could do a small repair, if they could reattach a piece of plastic on the undercarriage of my CTS. They said sure but itll be awhile maybe 45 min before they could even put my car into one of the bays. I said it was fine and waited in the lobby. Within 20 min they handed me my keys said it was all finished and have a great day. I was surprised at how fast they were able to do it and I told him I still needed to pay and he said no charge. The group of guys working here are awesome and I definitely recommend this place! Kudos to them!!!

I have been getting my car and my wifes car serviced at Tuffy for the past 8 years with mixed results-about 6 or 7 months ago they changed managers and mechanics and this place is now a real pleasure to go to(not that it is one of my favorite things to do) as the people there seem truly concerned about the people and the cars-even my wife is now comfortable going there to get service as she knows the guys arent going to give her a song and dance about unnecessary repairs-it isnt often that I write a review but this place has changed 180 degrees-for the what it is worth category these guys really seem to care

Never going back to Tuffys I went there to get a simple AC vaccum done, and they started doing their job. After about 15 minutes, they called me out saying they had to take out a plastic out of a valve and it would be $20. So i took it out myself, being it was to expensive for a simple job, and then he said that they had to put a plug in, and that they didnt have another plug, and that i had to buy it, but until i bought it, they wouldnt be "able" to put the plug in. Im at another place, and they are fixing it, even cheaper then at Tuffys and Im satisfied with the service over here.

Finally!! An Automotive Repair Service that I can trust again!! Carmen, I am glad you are back. Carmen is a very honest Manager that takes pride in making sure customers are satisfied and getting a VERY fair deal with their car maintenance. I have been shopping around for years since my past Auto Repair Center (Tire Choice) became a national chain and was CLEARLY starting to charge 2X to 3X what they should have been charging for a service. Thank you Tuffys and Carmen for finally finding a Auto Service Center I can trust!! You do great work!!

I have never got the 10.99 speacel when ive went here they tell me its only for 5w30 not 5w20 every auto parts store i go in its the same price besides that thier very rude if you want thier soeacial they tell you to wait an hour or so typical bait and switch 10.99 calling card not so when you get here ,if its only 5w30 put that on sign by 10.99 speacial. Ready to call lawyer not surprized that most reviews are 1 star
