absurdity isolation

Gone for several oil changes. No biggie. Get an oil change and my car is running cold, drove it for hours. Didnt warm up or shift. Then all my lights come on. I take it in, they tell me they have to run a specific diagnostic on it. $79. Then the guy comes in states the diagnostic couldnt define any problems,suggests i pay them $300 for another "better" diagnostic. I explained that the problems were only occurring after their service the day prior, oil change and two new tires. They deny any responsibility, three hours later Im told its my catalytic converter and give me a $700 estimate. Regardless they tell me they squared it up and everythings good. Get in the car,nothing changed. I went to a different tires plus location where they took care of me abruptly, showed me where the "con artist" took out an important temperature gauge so the car would not recognize running temp,so they could blame my tranny,to falsely pay for repairs my vehicle does not need nor would they actually be repairing. Informs me to replace my gas cap which they did, boom all the lights come off and the car runs proper. The mechanics at the alternate tires plus location did this all at no cost,apologized in behalf of the company as a whole,and had nothing nice to say about the sr 54 location. The 54 location will never get my business again. Scammers from Scamsville running that place.

I took my vehicle in because there were concerns that the water pump might be going bad. After charging me for their diagnostics, they told me that it would be approximately $1000 to fix. They told me the water pump was bad, radiator was bad, the thermostat would need to be replaced and the hoses would need to be replaced. They also told me that the radiator was bad because the radiator was full of Stop Leak, which has never been used on the car so they blamed my transmission shop that recently put in a new transmission. They indicated that my temperature gauge may not be registering the correct temperature. As I was walking out they told me that they could give me some discounts and forego the hoses and it would be $700. I went to my transmission shop that also does general repairs and relayed the story. They checked the pressure and the radiator, it was not full of stop leak but it needed to be flushed. The noise I had been hearing from my car was an exhaust leak, not the water pump. So instead of paying $1000, my repair bill was $120 for the exhaust leak, radiator flush and an oil change. I will never go to Tires Plus again and I suggest anyone that does, beware!

I have been taking my Lexus for oil changes and have been satisfied. $75 cheaper than going to the dealer. Very disappointed though, I was told that I need new shock and struts, very expensive for my type of car. Looked around the store and wouldnt you know it, there was special on struts and shocks this month only. I asked is that recommended because of mileage or does it need it? I was told that I have some chaffing on my tires but no real answer. I asked for a written estimate. Never got one and I was told when I was leaving that I would get a call with an estimate, still waiting...I went to Pep Boys and they told me that they are good and the tires are chaffing a little but I was safe to drive and I should wait to get new struts and shocks when I wear my tires out.

I had my brake pads and rotors done here two years ago. They still squeak to this day. I took it back 3 times to have them fix the squeak; each time they failed to fix anything. I wouldnt be surprised if they just wheeled the car into the garage and wheeled it back out again. I then had another local mechanic look at it, who was unable to determine what they may have done to cause this perpetual squeaking. Ive since resigned myself to just live with it until the car has been run into the ground, but Ive never forgotten where it came from.

These guys do pretty decent work and their prices are fair. They are very helpful with walk-in questions too. I only had one issue with them concerning a TPMS sensor. They installed a new one, it didnt work. Took it back, they said they needed to reset the system, but the guy who had the computer to reset it wasnt in. Came back another time to get it done, and it seems like they disconnected the whole system, since I have an underinflated and it doesnt throw the light...hmmmm. But otherwise, fair prices and quick work.

I needed to replace my radiator overflow container in my Xterra. I obtained estimates from a couple places. Labor alone was over a hundred dollars, however the part was not in anyones inventory not even the local suppliers. Marco at Tires Plus suggested I simply order it over the internet and they would gladly install it. I followed his advice and ordered the part. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I learned there was no charge! Marco explained "Im not going to charge you for that." No argument from me :)

My boyfriend has spent countless dollars here. He has been so upset for days because he had bought a few things from here and one of them broke. And they said the best they can do is sell me another. Just trying to make that sale and get your commission. They were rude from the start. The second I called and told them I was gonna bring it in. This shop has given me so many problem I will never go here agian as well as my boyfriend.

This Tiress Plus has very professional workers that tell you everything up front with costs and all. The 4 star rating is because sometimes we havent received the complementary inspections offered with various services, particularly my Fathers tire pressure wasnt checked. They did check the tires when we came back the next day after the low tire pressure light came on, however they should have been checked during the oil change.

Amazing service. I had a flat tire and was almost stranded 45 miles away from my house but they came to my rescue. It was a Friday night and it happened right before they closed, but they did not seem bothered at all. They were polite, friendly, and did a great job. I am coming back for some other stuff for my car even though it is an hour away from my house. I am so thankful for their time and awesome service.

I try to bring my familys vehicles here because they are fair, tell the truth and take good care of your vehicle and family. The last time I was here, I needed a new tire and they were not able to work with me on the price, but they helped me keep my kids calm and happy as we enjoyed watching the Turbo cartoon movie. It was a great experience and I recommend this specific location to my friends.
