Absolutely terrible customer service from the employees not to mention the trashy class of people that work out there. im a boxer and a quiet person. i keep to myself, use the treadmill and leave everyday. this particular day i decided to do some core exercise on one of the mats. an employee came over to me told me that he was going to mop the area i was working out in and asked me to find someplace else to workout. because the gym is cluttered and overcrowded i told him that was not possible and asked him to come back in 15 minutes when i was finished. he came back minutes later with an assistant manager. some punk kid with a high school pep rally grin on his face and asked me what had happened. i told him that i wanted to finish my workout and to please leave me alone. he returned with his general manager and my workout ended with me arguing with all 6 of the employees working that day and having my membership cancelled. Do yourself a favor and dont use this gym. there arent any cute girls there and it feels like a trip to wal-mart.

I have been a black card member for one year. I never use the services this card afforded me, so I downgraded recently to the regular membership. Maverick was very helpful witch switching my services and did not give me a hard time. The staff is very cool, friendly and attentive. Dave is very friendly, Chris assisted me and my friends create a work out plan design especially for us. Their group classes are phenomenal especially the 30 minute circuit with Drew, it really work every inch of your body. One observation: I believe Planet Fitness started in a Northern state where a tanning machine maybe an asset, however, in South Florida I personally would have proffered a sauna, as a part of the black card luxuries lol! So I hope management will look into gearing the PF to the demographics in the future!!!!!! With that said, so if you are looking for gym, with friendly staff, clean atmosphere, an array of great equipment, at a reasonable price then Planet Fitness NMB is for you!

This gym is a nightmare. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! I signed up for a membership online. When I went into the gym the employee didnt smile and acted almost annoyed that i was there. He didnt bother trying to show me around the gym and literally ran through a 30 sec speech telling me about what the terms of my gym membership then told me to sign on the line. It was so fast I couldnt hear him. Then he gave me a t-shirt without asking what size or color I wanted. They had two colors but as it turns out they only offer XL t-shirts. I slaved for 1.5 years losing 75lbs and it was insulting having someone offer me a shirt two sizes too big. They claim to be a no judgement zone but they clearly JUDGE and DISRESPECT anyone who worked hard to reach a healthy weight. IT IS NOT FAIR. I would rather spend 3 hours talking to telemarketer than set foot in that awful gym again!!!

For the most part, it is a pretty decent experience. The staff is friendly and moderately helpful. My issues are with the way they uphold their policies and the overall workout environment. There are people walking around or using the machines while on the phone (something they have signs up prohibiting, but obviously do not uphold), folks CLEARLY not following the dress code (women in dress skirts, men in fitted caps, polo shirts, church pants, etc; another rule they do not seem to uphold), the massage chair area being used for tv time and/or nap time, machines not being cleaned after use, there are women even strutting around with handbags like they are at South Beach. Ive been going to this location since theyve opened up and, for the value it is to be a member here, its not too bad, but it would be THAT MUCH better if a lot of these issues were addressed.

I waz pretty happy one employee has a terrible attitude female no smile or greeting but ok did owner knows and allow her to stay. I was talk to by the owner and the manager and ask why a friend of mine and a mechanic came to the parking area to talk to me .why the i get into his car . Why the i spend so much time at the gym . If i was selling drugs .out of the gym that he heard rumers. Turn around and they walk away. I whent. Back today and i was told sith a smile on her face by the same rude employees that i no longer was allow at the gym because i was involved in ilegal business. Who are this people the police .they should have call the police. They jump into a complete and wrong judgment. My attorney will be involve including head office bad gym to sign up its private thats why

One of the best gym I have been to lately. Its VERY CLEAN and quiet great workout music and tvs to keep you in tune to your favorite shows while doing some cardio. I am very pleased with the staff since I have been there the past few weeks and they have been giving me great tips on how to maximize my work outs. I had to drop LA Fitness because it was too crowded, loud, and I just didnt feel comfortable. I love this Gym check it out sometime. I dont know that the other person was talking about in there review, I always see those guys cleaning up wiping stuff down I have never had any issues there been there early morning afternoons and latenight and they are always clean.

When I lived in PA a friend let me tag along as a guest and that planet fitness was open 24 hours so I gave it a shot. Since moving back I wanted to get my own membership and I dont regret it at all the staff is very helpful even when they are not on the clock and most other members are friendly too. I wish it was 24 hours as well but 5 AM to 11 PM isnt too bad. I dont use the benefits of the black card membership so I might drop down to the white membership in a few months. It can get crowded at peek times but that goes for any gym. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get back in shape.

I used to come here for about 3 years and quit my membership about 6 months ago because I was out of town. Now I come back and Planet Fitness is charging $40 a year plus $10 a month plus a yearly contract with a $50 cancellation. If I wanted a deal that bad, Id just go to LA Fitness. At least there I can do bench presses without waiting 45 minutes for a smith machine to become free. Id like to join on again, but only for $10 a month. Right now, Im just going to go to 24 hour fitness near my work and not have to worry when I come in that all the cardio machines are going to be used up.

Clean House

Planet Fitness NMB is an oasis. Nice clean environment, friendly staff, and well maintained equipment. The majority of the members re- rack the weights after use and spray and wipe down the machines. The mens locker and rest room is always highly sanitized! Kudos to management for adding the brand cardio selections. Personally, my weight and health has greatly improved since joining and the club is a joy to visit several times a week. New outdoor security lights And evening guard on the premises is an added bonus Please keep up the high quality standards.
