I too initially had a good experience BUT...In December, 2012 we found a Groupon offer for 3 oil changes for $30. It sounded too good to be true so before buying the group on we called our local Just Brakes store #631 in Ocala, Fl. We were concerned about the May expiration date as we thought getting 3 oil changes in 4 months didnt make sense. We spoke with Patrick who handled the service counter. He told us that we just had to get the first oil change before the May expiration and we could get the other two when needed So both my wife and I each bought a groupon offer. Today we went for our second oil change and we were told by the assistant manager, Richard Clemons, that the offer expired in May and he would only give us an $11 credit on any of their oil changes. We explained to him what Patrick had told us and he said that "everything that Patrick ever told you was a lie" and that Patrick was no longer with Just Brakes. He then went on to blame Groupon for the problem. At our request he called the store manager John Speer who also offered only an $11 credit. That is not what we paid for. The fine print on the Groupon also says "First oil change must be redeemed by expiration date on Groupon." which is what Patrick told us. We feel Richard Clemons and John Speer should honor the Just Brakes Groupon offer that was made by Just Brakes and bought by us. Its deplorable that they would change the terms of the offer and then blame it on a former employee. Meanwhile the shop sits empty! We cant possibly be the only customers who were duped by Just Brakes. We thought you should be aware of this deceptive practice since it reflects badly on Just Brake. We will never go there again and will tell everyone we know how we were first duped and then treated badly. I have contact Groupon who agreed with us, the groupon offer states "First oil change must be redeemed by expiration date on Groupon" and that it was ridiculous to expect someone to get 3 oil changes in 4 months. Also shortly after our first oil change we received an email offer from Just Brakes to write a good review online in exchange for a free oil change. We wrote a good review and never received the free oil change.

Back in September my boyfriend visited this location for a fuel pump replacement and it was probably one of the worst experiences we had ever had when dealing with a vehicle. Last night the very same fuel pump went out and we had it towed back to Just Brakes (warranty reasons). We are so glad we did. The new management is absolutely wonderful! Harrison was so eager to help us and took care of getting the part replaced in a very timely fashion. He answered every one of our questions and took his time breaking down our invoice after the job was completed. When we went to pick up the vehicle there was a slight confusion in pricing but instead of getting upset or annoyed with us, Harrison did everything he could to make sure we left happy and returning customers. Quenton was up front when we picked up the vehicle also, he was a very nice guy who was so nice and very professional. The Just Brakes employees we had the pleasure of dealing with were wonderful and I highly recommend you using their services. If you were like us and dont want to return to this location because of previous experiences, trust me, its a completely different atmosphere, attitude, and experience the second you walk through the door. Kudos to Harrison and his team. You guys rock Note: I read most of the reviews that were posted before I posted mine and several are from a few weeks and months ago. We were told that this was the new managements first week. I just wanted to make clear that we are referring to the NEW management/ team (within the last 5 days) and NOT the one from a couple weeks back.

I took my car to this location because I heard a noise and figured it was the appropriate place to get it check out. I called ahead and asked about their appointment availability and I was told they could see me as soon as I arrived. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I felt very attended to; there was a technician at my car door in incredible timing to greet me and get and ask about the issues I was experiencing. Once my car was in the air, they brought me over to show me what was wrong with my brakes as well as an overall check up on the health of my engine. They were patient with me while I tried to understand what I was being told and then they helped me figure out the best route for repair. The manager, Dustin, is the reason Id return for any future services I might need. He was very personable and he helped me understand everything I needed to as well as some intermittent entertainment with his lively personality. All in all, my experience at Just Brakes was above and beyond and I will recommend them to everyone I know. Great company, great manager, and great repair work because my problems are all fixed and covered under warranty!

My wife took her car in because of a squeaky front brake, after inspection of the car she was told she needed new rotors both sides, new calipers both sides, new ball joints both sides, of course brake pads, and a new serpentine belt. and a bill for $900 +... "Never let your wife go alone" the rotors and pads is really all that car needed, I saw the old ball joints and calipers and they were fine, of course new ones look pretty..also the serpentine belt had no cracks on the top of the belt. She refused the belt, but the finial cost was still close to $800.00...and then to top it off they broke the Hub Cap for one of the wheels and didnt tell her, they just stuck it in the back seat floor on the passengers side. She thought she had lost it days later and we only found it after ordering another one. Would not recommend this place after this experience

Just left this dump about 15 minutes ago. Came in to the shop at 2pm its 7:12pm now. They had one guy pretty much doing all the work bouncing from 3 different vehicles. All i had done was brakes . The shop manager just walked around. Talk about horrible customer service. Will never advise anyone to do business with these idiots. Will be making a complaint to corporate first thing monday morning. Oh n whats even worse there was still a customers truck being worked on when i left n all he was getting was rear rotors n pads, n he was at the store before us. STAY CLEAR OF THESE PEOPLE WHATEVER YOU DO!!!

After Pep-Boys and the dealer wanted $400+ for brakes, I didnt know who to turn to in order to get affordable brakes. Until I found Just Brakes, my estimate was less than half the cost of the other two companies and I even went ahead and had a little bit of extra work done on my car as well. Theyre honest, and actually showed me the parts that needed replacing and why they needed replacing. They were friendly and worked on my car fast and did a good job. Im very happy with them and its great to have one less worry knowing that if my car ever needs servicing, I can always go to Just Brakes.
