I made an appt. for a perm, nothing was said about it at the time. When I got there, the woman doing my hair was clearly ticked. She said she tried calling me but she couldnt read my number that they had written in the book. She said they only booked 2 hours for a perm and she needed 3, my hair is at the longest 3". She sat me in her chair, looked at my hair, she had cut it a month ago. Said that I had a lot of body and texture and why did I want a perm. I explained to her how when its windy or humid the sides just stick straight out. After about 10 minutes of this she took me back to wash my hair all the time talking about not getting a perm, my hair had curl etc. She was talking loud enough that everyone in there heard her, they were busy. It took her almost 2 hours to wrap my hair. While she was doing it the hairdresser next to her said, " thats 70s and 80s style and she agreed. I felt about 2" tall. I had told her 3 or more times that my hair is hard to curl on the top and the sides get too curly. I got a perm that smelled of ammonia, havent had one of those in years. She said she doesnt cut it after a perm. She had an appt 2 hours after me and had to make it later. My hair is horrible, the sides are nothing but kink and tight curls, the top has only a little curl. I wish I had gotten up and walked out. Im 75 years old and dont need to be insulted like that. All she had to do was say she didnt do perms or something of that nature and I wouldve gone somewhere. Its one of the worst experiences of my life. I was so upset when I left I had to calm down before I could drive. i will never go back again and Im sure I wont be missed

If you ever need a hair cut for an event coming up, DO NOT GO HERE!!! One week before prom, my ends visibly dead from straightening it, my bangs grew out to where i couldnt see out from under them anymore. My mom decided its time for a cut. I had never gone to this specific hair cuttery before, but i have gone only to hair cuttery since i was little. So i was confident it was going to be just fine. Everyone in the salon has been cutting hair for a long time, only one guy had been fresh out of college, so i didnt worry. The woman that cut my hair had been cutting hair for years. She sounded like she knew what she was doing, but the end result proved she didnt! I have had hair cuts from people still in college that did a better job! My bangs, look as if someone was blind folded, given scissors and told i was a pinyada. My hair use to be extremely long and now its almost to my chin. I dont know what i am going to do for prom now. To save some peoples disappointment, dont go to the hair cuttery in orange city, it will be disastrous!

The other person on here clearly didnt have a good picture or didnt describe what she wanted correctly. Jen one of the stylists at this place put me at ease after a bad experiance at another shop. She was kind, pleasant and professional. I would recommend her to anyone going here. I had to wait a little due to appointments before me but I never saw one bad haircut on anyone walking out and nothing like the other reviewer says. Dont judge a book by its cover, just because its 15 dollars doesnt mean its going to be a bad haircut Ive gotten horrible cuts and payed 20 or more for them. I had an event coming up by the way the next day and this place and its times being open was very convenient.

Paula, Paula, Paula. She has been cutting my hair since I moved to Debary. She did a fabulous job. She was an amazing stylist and loved my short edgy look. However the one day Paula was NOT there I went to see another stylist at the same place with a specific picture. That stylist did a HORRIBLE JOB. Asked me why I wanted my hair cut short again, why the picture of a clearly male haircut. I loved the way it looked and so did my husband who clearly saw my aggravation when I clearly did not wish to tip the woman. I still go there but ask only for Paula.

I like this place. If you are too particular about your hair, don’t just walk in but make an appointment with a master stylist like Jeannette and you will get a great haircut. Jeannette is awesome, and the prices are very, very reasonable. I once paid $100 for just a cut and blow dry at a fancy Winter Park salon and did not love the cut at all. Ever since I have come here and been very satisfied.

Horrible customer service. Ridiculous wait times. They put me on their list, told me to leave and come back in fourty five minutes to an hour and I would be next. When I came back, they told me I had another ten - fifteen minutes. Over fifteen minutes pass, still waiting. Ive been to other hair cutterys, this one is by far the worse.

I went to get a haircut and was lucky to get it done by Sarah. She did an awesome job! She was very attentive and made sure my idea of the haircut matches hers. I am very satisfied with the job she did. And it was only $18 for a great haircut!

Took my 10yr old son here to just have the sides thinned. It only took about 3min and the price was $18.00. Really?!!
