I wish that I could give this company a lower rating than poor - fair. I thought they would be the same quality as the movers I have used in the other four moves I have done in the last eight years until I started the process to claim furniture items that were broken in our move. I asked for an amount was close to what it would cost to replace the items. Suddath came back with an offer that was 1/3 of the amount that I had asked for, stating that it was for repairs. They did not send anyone to get an actual estimate of the repair costs before making this offer so it was purely their guess. They said that if I submitted receipts after having the items repaired that they would consider covering the full cost of the repairs. That statement told me that I would be taking on the cost of repairs at my own risk. On top of this, the average time for someone from this company to reply an email was 3 days. When I left voice mails the calls were never returned. I would not suggest using this company if you have anything you would like replaced in the event that it gets broken. I have never had a moving company that was so difficult with a claim or so unresponsive and I have moved frequently.

I currently have my furniture with this company.... I did not start with them they bought out mayflower company. Now I received a call saying they are getting out of the Business and I must remove my items by the end of the month I have no problem with that but I am being charged for pick up and return which i think should be waived since they decided to get out the buisness and provide no notice at all ... So when I mentioned that we as a customer must provide notice why did they not provide notice and then charging $300 for an unexpected move ... They then say over the phone ok we will give you a 30 day notice on the phone nothing in writing and now charge you $600 for pick up and drop off plus additional month ... I called the main office about this unexpected getting out of the buisness and they have not received the memo of this information avoid this company use a reputable one that has been in the business of moving for a long time because in Florida there is no protection for the consumer in the moving company world

My son was called to active duty 25 days early. He was not able to oversee the packing of his household goods. Today a crew of three men from Suddath Relocation, Raul, Andres and Romon arrived around 9:30 a.m. They worked diligently packing my sons belongings wrapping everything. His items ranged from an antique German clock, several musical instruments to kitchen ware and garage tools. Everything was insulated, wrapped, logged in and finally loaded into a total of three containers. These men did a great job. They wrapped all his belongings and loaded them into the containers with great care. They showed a high level of packing and planning experience. I am a retired USAF Lt Col and have experienced numerous moves during my career. This was the smoothest and stress free pickup I have every experienced. Five Star! Thank you Suddath.

It is impossible to get anywhere with this company. The lack of communication and lack of follow through is unbelievable. They only called a half hour after there scheduled time to inform me they will be late for the inhome quote. Then I am told I will receive the quote in the afternoon. I have yet to receive to the quote. I have been calling since late afternoon looking for the quote. They make you hunt down the information yourself. Shouldnt you be be looking for my business instead of pushing me away. Very disheartening for a moving company. How am am or anyone else to trust you with our belongings. Thanks to your poorly ran business I know have to quickly beg and plead for immediate inhkme quotes from other moving angencies. I will NEVER recommend Suddath. I will only spread the word of how poorly And untrustworthy Suddath is!!!

The team is Suddath was incredible to work with on our cross-town residential move. Dan Lees set everything up and came to our old place to assess what we have and give us an accurate estimate of moving costs. He also gave us a few great money saving tips about buying our own bags for mattresses / getting a special TV box. On moving day, Neri and Felix showed up during the required window and were great to work with. Moving is always stressful, and they were great to work with to help reduce this. No complaints from them about having to bring heavy furniture up our stairs in our two-story townhouse. Everything was delivered without damage including my piano. They were very good about pointing out pre-existing damage in the old place. Overall an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend the team at Suddath for any move.

I have used Suddath to pack my household and move the items on three different occasions and I will always use Suddath! From the initial contact to arrange for an estimate, to the account rep who comes to your home and oversees all logistics, to the dispatchers keeping you informed, to the movers who show up and pack and move everything - nothing has ever been broken or damaged - to their offers to reassemble all furniture, to the follow up with the account rep....I trust them completely. Moving is the worst, but Suddath makes you feel completely taken care of. The worry and stress is off your shoulders as they are absolute professionals who CARE. It is worth every penny, and honestly, I cant put a price on the peace of mind and the amount of work that they do to ensure all is perfect from start to finish.

This review is written solely for the delivery team of Rick, Anil, Chuck, and Brendon. The crew called in the morning to provide an ETA. When they arrived they introduced themselves, described the unloading, walked through the house, asked for placement of items, and protected the floors with liners. They were very systematic and organized in the unloading process. As items were brought in they continued to confirm placement of furniture and boxes. They were a great team and provided excellent service of the delivery of our items once they arrived in Orlando and were delivered to our door. The 5 stars are only for the delivery team of Anil, Rick, Chuck, and Brendon. A separate review will be written for the operation/logistics of the 3 week nightmare we experienced from United Van Lines.

Would NOT use again based on my experience. Moved out of state and had damage done to my new home. Did not feel I was treated fairly or honestly by the company regarding my denied claim. Also, I did not like that they used different (subcontracted) workmen for the move on both ends, who therefore did not know which rooms the furniture went in. And I had to request a refund (many times) for overcharges paid in advance. They never answered my questions regarding the denied insurance claim (including the Orlando general manager, who never responded to my email), and the company never sent me a survey of how I would rate my move (which their sales people use to sell their services. No wonder their reviews are so high...they must not include unhappy customers in their results).
