Actually if I could give less than a one, I would. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - YOU WILL REGRET IT. Trust me when I say that the few pennies they will save you over more well known movers well not be worth it. As they are lowballing their estimates and then charging you later. And maybe even that would have been okay- but worse happened. First of all, I begged Javier, the guy who answers the phone, to come out and see my stuff - so that I had an accurate estimate. He refused and I thought we would be ok. However, the minute the three drivers showed up, they started bitching and saying it would not fit in the 26 foot truck, Them foreman actually spent his first 45 minutes calling Javier and bitching and telling me that Javier should have come out. This man was 63 years old with a bad back and spent the rest of the day complaining about his aches and pains and saying that he should be retired. I agree. Needless to say, they did not load all of my stuff on the truck - they left so much stuff - another 22 foot truck could not fit the rest. The 26 foot truck was not full - but they refused to add anymore saying it was full. They broke my 500 to 600 pound china cabinet when they propped it up on its legs at my old address. At my new address, they scraped and dinged the walls and even caused two or three gaping holes in my newly painted apartment. They took the bare minimum upstairs to my bedroom and living room and left the majority in the garage. They werent even going to out up my bed - but I cried that I had no way to get anyone to help and had no more money - as they hit me up for an additional money before they emptied the truck and if I did not pay - I guess the stuff wasnt even going to hit my garage. I let the foreman know about the chin CABINET AND THE WALLS and also called Javier on the day of my move and let him know. The insurance company was disgraceful - they had very stringent times and even though they were supposed to pay $.60 per pound - they decided my china cabinet only weighed 100 pounds and they refused to fix the wall even though they forced me to get estimates with a very short time frame and are saying I must accept this measly payment of $60 within 10 days of receipt of their offer, which took since July for them to determine. In the meantime, my china cabinet is still leaning on two legs where they left it in my office and I still have many heavy items and furniture that needs to be moved up from the garage. I already had to go back to my apartment and get the rest of my stuff with a 22 foot truck and had to pay for another truck and more movers. again do not use this company - or you may just end up with a similar story to mine.

After moving myself to the area in a Budget truck just one year earlier, I was not excited to do it all over again. So I sucked it up and went online to search for professionals. I called and their office was friendly and answered all of my questions. Moving day went very smoothly! I was slated for an early PM move, but the team called around 11 saying they were done with the morning job and wanted to start early. Their trucks are 24 so plenty of room for my 2brm and storage unit. I am not sure that these guys took a single break during the whole move, they worked really hard. Upon arrival at the new diggs it was again smooth and easy. In fact, the only issue we had the whole move was one of my lamps was broken (I think one of the guys thought it was supposed to pull out and fold down, but in reality he accidentally snapped the plastic joint). Things like this happen in EVERY move, so I didnt really have an issue with it. Finally when it came time to settle up, they had no issue deducting my deposit, using the coupon, and also giving me a discount for paying in cash. In addition the captain called their office and they offered me an additional discount to help cover the cost of the lamp. The only gripe I had was that after they left I reviewed the bill again, and I had charges for several rolls of tape ($3-5 each!). They had been using it to secure moving blankets on furniture. I had provided tape and shrink wrap for their use so I wasnt expecting it, and as it turned out since I wasnt watching very closely they were not using my tape at all. It wasnt a deal breaker but the extra $15 or so dollars was not expected. As many of you know there are some AWFUL movers out there that do horrendous, unspeakable things to property and apartments when moving (i.e. dropping a deuce without ventilation - damn). All-in-all, nearly all of my stuff arrived nick and scratch-free, the guys were professional, prompt, and the office called multiple times throughout the process to make sure I was in the loop and ready for the move. What else can you ask for?

We moved from south Florida back to Orlando to a new home. The team we had have to be the best in the business! Ever! They had a long day as it started at 6am when they drove to South Florida. Anthony, ADam, and Uriah all respectfully introduced themselves and came with smiles on their faces and ready to work. They loaded our two bedroom apartment and storage unit onto a truck. We did our part by having 98% of our belongings properly packed and ready to grab and load. The truck was completely FULL! The ability to pack a truck like aTetris game was so impressive to observe. Their excellence was spectacular. We gave them all lunch money and said see you later and meet you in Orlando. We all arrived at our new home late afternoon close to sunset. These men unloaded this truck and placed everything where requested; still with the same level of manners and professionalism as early morning. Exhausted from amount of items (rightfully so); and even helped and put together a very heavy piece of furniture (a solid bar). Theoretically, this piece of furniture should probably have taken 5 men to move; but these three worked together at it until it was completed. We just cannot thank them enough for making our moving experience so very positive. Not one item was broken, scratched, or delivered in a way less than perfect! If you are seeking the very best in the business - look no further! Anthony, Adam, and Uriah were well worth the fees and the $150 tip we provided each of them for going above and beyond in several areas of the move that day. They stayed with us until we were completely comfortable and satisfied -- which was almost midnight. Beautiful, kind, funny souls -- stay well.

1776 Moving were the most professional, punctual and courteous moving service I have ever used, right from the start of the quote to the time they deliver our home goods. They made sure this move was painless and stress-free. We interacted with Diana for scheduling the move and she was very helpful and clear on what needed to be done. The movers, Storo and his team, arrived 5 minutes early than scheduled for the pick up and got to work right away. We had a 3 BR home and they loaded the truck with great care and speed! Within 2 hours, the truck was loaded and they were on the way. At my new place they arrived as scheduled, as promised and also 15 minutes early than promised. I dont think any mover does that... Overall, excellent experience, very much compares to the cost of Van Line companies and the best part- peace of mind because we are the only load on their truck. Also, the person who picks up, shows up at the destination. Some other positives: 1. The quote is a binding quote - so no squabbles at pick up or drop off. 2. The team is extremely professional and always have a smile on their face. They take their customers seriously. 3. The team takes care of our home stuff with great attention. They wrap things so well that nothing broke! 4. They are quick - they took about 2-3 hours to load, 2 hours to unload and assemble; 5. They dont waste anything - usually the movers waste so much tape and moving boxes. 1776 Moving re-used things as much as possible. 6. Reasonable quotes - although their quote is like 5% higher than others, but I didnt mind it at all after the fantastic service the provide. Overall, highly recommend 1776 Moving without reservation.
