Avoid costly moves by calling the location that is the most mileage efficient. The Two Men & A Truck location nearest your origination point could just be the ticket on lowering the mileage cost. I saved $178.00 today just by doing this. I can tell you we marked all the boxes that went into each different room with different colored tape and it made packing the truck and unpacking a breeze. That different colored tape in Wal-Mart has a fantastic purpose! The blue taped items went into the kitchen and if they were fragile they had an additional strip of orange tape on them. The zebra taped items went into a different room etc.(many colors to choose from) and again if the items were fragile glass inside they had an additional orange peice of tape on them. Doing this will save you time, money, mental stress and hassle, believe me! No more messing with sharpie markers and writing they cant read. The guys showed up on time ready to work and worked quickly and efficiently and didnt lean around waiting to "Take breaks" They had a sunny attitude and worked well as a team, what a relief it was to see that!! They were so careful and the whole time on the "same page" with each other. I can tell you NOT ONE thing was damaged and there were about 15 boxes of wine and champagne glasses and things in frames. Take my tips to minimize the cost of your move, additionally, pack your glass frames in towels and strap tape around them and turn them up on thier sides to minimize impact and use the orange tape for fragile items, and use wash clothes to pack glass ware and when packing plates or framed glass pop a few of those couch pillows or stuffed animals in the bottom of the box, turn the box up on the side so that they can not be crushed add another neck pillow or stuffed animal and mark the top of the box "Top" taking the extra time to do this is the extra assurance your things will arrive safe and in the long run it will save you money. Be sure you tell them all the items you are moving so that they will be prepared. They have t.v. boxes and all kinds of boxes and need to be made aware of which boxes and supplies to bring. The additional cost is worth it. We were extremely impressed with Two Men & A Truck and intend on using them for all of our moving needs and refer them to everyone we know that is moving. No, I do not work for the company, and yes I can tell you this, if there is a negative review look at the date, I can tell you the employees that were called out were probably sent back for retraining or dismissed. This company is on the mark. You may be asked to pay slightly more than you think you should but, consider the cost of dealing with a scammer. Be careful when chosing a moving company there are many who are not reputable, stick with this one, they are well organized and insured, they train and screen thier employees and have a fantastic reputation! Watch out for this company. I had a bad experience with them a few years ago. I called to set up a "packed move" was very very clear about what I wanted over the phone. Was very confident the woman took down exactly what I wanted, called about 2 months in advance to set up my appointment to make sure I got the date I wanted and the time I wanted and exactly what I was requesting. Low and behold the day comes and the guys show up and tell me they arent going to pack my stuff and move it because they did not get instructions for that type of move to which of course I became irate and was like "that is exactly what I asked for over the phone, I talked to so and so on this specific date at this specific time who put in my request". Turns out that woman had been fired, I can see why. So now theyre moving my furniture, they have no boxes so they end up having to go back to their place and get boxes after making an initial delivery my new address. They finally return to my old address where I still need everything packed and moved only they didnt bring any boxes to move closet stuff "assuming" they did not need them. So I ended up moving my closet stuff myself, in my own car, packing it myself into my backseat. Needless to say this experience was terrible. Not only did it take double the time but I ended up having to miss work that day because what I thought would take 3 3 1/2 hours at most took 6 hours. Oh and they gave me an hour discount for the inconvenience of their movers not showing up prepared, how nice of them considering it roughly doubled the time it should have taken to move my stuff. Thus costing me an extra 2 or 3 hours of charged labor. My suggestion, dont use this company, or double, triple, and final check the day before your move to make sure they have it right because apparently they like to hire people who fail at their jobs.

My experience with Two Men & A Truck, was the best move ever. My husband was in the military so we have experienced many moves over 28 years. Ray Works & Zach were the best I have ever experienced. They were on time, very friendly, went right to the work & worked so well together as a team. They never stopped until the job was finished & everything inspected with no damage. The time was about 45 minutes more than estimated, but it wasnt their fault. I moved from a home to a condominium, needless to say this made it more difficult because of security. The truck couldnt be parked close to the door nor in the parking garage . They had to come through the parking garage with the furniture & other household items to a specific elevator. They preserved, never complaining & never stopped until the job was completed. They were just above & beyond the many movers I have experienced over the past 40 years. The price was very reasonable as well. Michael was very close with time & cost estimates. I will certainly recommend Two Men & A Truck to everyone I know & especially Ray & Zach. 07/2015 We had an outstanding experience! Moved from a 3rd FL 2bd to another on a brutally hot day. Had three movers: Norman, Rick and David. They were fantastic!!! Extremely efficient, friendly, and careful with our things. Despite the conditions, these guys were a pleasure to be around the whole time. They even finished the job in an hour less than we were originally quoted. The price was right, the work was exceptional, and they took care of our belongings which is very important. Highly, highly recommend Two Men and a Truck! 03/2016 Just had our second move with Two Men and a Truck, again these guys were exceptional! We cant say enough about how pleased we are with our experiences with them. They make the moving process easy and reduce our stress, what more could you ask for? The final bill matched our quote and it was reasonable. Huge thank you to the guys for their help this weekend, we couldnt have done it without you!
