I have had a horrible experience with Allied/Central Van and Storage. I relocated to Iowa City, IA from Morgantown, WV. My shipment was loaded on May 30th; I drove to Iowa City on June 1st; and I was given a delivery spread of June 4th through the 12th. Its June 19th and I still do not have my belongings. 3 weeks on an air mattress, 1 week past the LAST DAY of the delivery spread, and they still cannot tell me where my belongings are or when theyll be delivered. To boot, customer service tells me that since my shipment is so small (just an apartments worth) that I am not entitled to compensation beyond the replacement of my air mattress and $100 for food. Somehow, $290 in comparison to the almost $3,000 that Im paying for this service does not seem like fair compensation for the stress, hassle, and inconvenience Ive been dealing with.

Representative who came to the house was very personable and informative, answering all my questions. The lady I spoke with on the phone was friendly and professional and helped me through the process Loading crew was also very nice and handled my belongings with care. Although I would have liked an earlier delivery I understood the schedule. The only complaint I have is that I have not received my refund of over $1,000.00 and it has been over 2 weeks since delivery!

We had the best experience with our moving company. At first it was doubtful because of the weather, but they did come and loaded us without a problem. We drove to North Carolina in the snow, and closed on our house on a Thursday, our household goods were delivered to us Saturday morning as promised. I would recommend this company to anyone making an out of state move. Great job and they were very professional

Very happy with the service I received! Price was reasonable and the crew they sent was amazing! The guys (Josh, Tyrone and Maurice) worked well together. They were on time, efficient, careful and moved things around just like we asked. I couldnt have asked for an easier moving experience!
