Complaint Description: Action gator tire Oviedo FL branch sold a fraudulent lifetime wheel alignment package. The manager of the Oviedo, FL branch sold me a wheel alignment warranty saying that this lifetime warranty was transferable to any vehicle that I owned during my lifetime. This was the convincing point for me when I paid $149.99 for the lifetime alignment package(normal alignment is about $69.99, maybe more or less) as I knew that I was going to trade in my present vehicle for another and it seemed like a good idea as I could use the lifetime warranty on the new vehicle. Also said that any wheel rotation would be free of charge for any vehicle that I owned during my lifetime, similar to the alignment (I had him write it in his handwriting and sign it). So today, 4/8/2017, I went to the Oviedo branch for wheel rotation and showed the receipt to the manager and asked for lifetime rotation (free of charge). Thus, imagine my surprise when I was told that the lifetime alignment package and tire rotation was only good for the original vehicle only and not for any subsequent vehicles and the lifetime only applied to the original package. The manager flatly refused to honor the lifetime package and would not recognize the initials of the person (BC) that originally sold me the lifetime package. When I told him that I will contemplate taking legal action, if necessary, he said go ahead. Really? For a tire rotation that costs, maybe $30 he is willing to lose a good customer (I have had many vehicles worked on through the years)?? For me, it a question of principle and I expect Action Gator Tire to stand behind their word. Clearly this manager does not care for the reputation of his company or his loyal customers!

This place is a total rip-off. I Went in just for a full synthetic oil change for my toyota and they tried to charge me $85!!! I told the guy that I paid ~$65 or less at the action gator tire up the road and he told me that was impossible. After he looked me in the system he said, "oh they gave you a discount. I could apply the same discount but with taxes it will come out to $73". That was just absurd in my opinion. I asked for my keys back and left. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Also, the customer in front of me was arguing with the guy while I was in line because they quoted him one price and when he came back they were trying to charge him $50 more than he was quoted. I shouldve realized what kind of place this was right then and left. Avoid if you value your money

Ive used action gators services in the past and was dumb for not coming here first! This time, I was told at another dealer that the nail in my tire could not be patched and that Id have to buy two new tires so the tires would match otherwise it would be unsafe, the estimate was almost $300. I looked for a better price and I called and made an appointment at action gator to get the two new tires put on and to my amazement they came out laughing within 10min of looking at it! They were happy to tell me they could fix my tire no problem and i wouldnt need to buy new ones at all! They sent me on way about 25 min later at a very reasonable price. The facts speak for themselves, thanks again to Alberto and all the staff at action gator ! Action Gator : 2 Other Dealers: 0

I called around for a tire quote and Action Gator was far lower than any other local store. When I got to the counter I was told that the quote given to me was for tires only, not mounting and balancing. However, they would honor the price given to me over the phone. A few hours later I received a call stating that the tires were on but my brakes were "locked up". They proceeded to tell me that they could fix them for ~$900!! I told them that there was nothing wrong with the brakes when I took the car in there and there had better be nothing wrong with them when I pick up the car. When I got there the tires were on, the price was what I agreed and I have not noticed any issues with the brakes.

Ive been using Action Gator in Oviedo for 16+ years. When I first moved to Chuluota I came out of my house one day to find a flat tire on my car. My husband took it off and brought it up there and they fixed it - FOR FREE!!!! Weve been loyal customers ever since. Theyve serviced 10 different cars for us over the years and their prices have always been fair and the customer service is OUTSTANDING. They even drove me to a dental appointment when I had an emergency with my car and stopped in on my way to the appointment. EXCELLENT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This place didnt even get around to taking a look at my car after an hour despite being told that theyd call with a quote of what was needed in 15 min. The worst part is they couldnt be bothered to tell me; Im not sure they would have ever told me except for the fact I showed back up and asked. These guys are the definition of unproffessional. I wouldnt trust them with my kids lightning McQueen toy cars. Go to Pep boys down the street. They at least treat you like a valuable customer.

They are absolutely amazing here! I came in 10 mins before closing and they stayed 20mins after closing time and repaired my tire.and they couldve said "No.. come back tomorrow." But they didnt! ( AAA had put my spare on, so I couldve waited) thank you for getting this done for me! 6 months ago I also purchased new tires here...And the prices are great!!!

I recently came to them to replace my rear brakes on my 2005 Cadillac SRX. Not only did they do the job quickly, but they did it in the most cost effective way. They were also able to stop a a smaller issue that could have been a lot larger in the future. I am a return customer and will keep coming back, I have a appointment on Sunday for new tires

AVOID AT ALL COST. This place is a total scam, even for an oil change. Beware of hidden fees for tire rotation, disposal fees, and supply fees. Would not recommend this shop to anyone, even more worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and go to another company, theres plenty around the area.

Ive been using this store for 30 years. They never try to sell me what I dont need. I needed a quick oil change and trip check for an emergency out-of-state drive. They had me in and out in under an hour.

They have fixed whatever needed to be fixed, whether it was an oil change or if something was wrong with the engine. They took on the problem and did good. The price was fair and the time waiting was fair.

Have used them twice and received excellent service and pricing. No jerking around or add ons. With a bunch of tire stores within a couple of miles of each other, this one stands out by FAR as the best.
