5/15/15 I had my car towed yesterday by AAA and the driver suggested Oviedo Car Care, Inc when I told him the shop I was going to was charging me $100 to do a diagnostic as I was not sure what was wrong - just that it had started to make a noise I had never heard it make. After the car was gone I saw the bad review on here and panicked. I called and the owner answered the phone. I flat out told him I had seen the review and was concerned. He was nice,(even though Im sure I sounded a little crazy) said he was aware of it. He never spoke bad about that person but went on to tell me about himself and his co. Never tried to pressure me but assured me he would never do any work that did not need to be done and that I would have to give him the ok after he gave me all the details and full costs. My car is a 98 and I explained I was broke and need the least work done to get it safely back on the road. I asked him to please take a look. He called back in a hour with his findings and the full price to the penny of what the work would cost. He told me what was making the noise and let me know it would not keep me from driving the car so I did not need to replace that part. He found the radiator had a leak and recommended that it be replaced along with one hose. I had been given a quote on the radiator months ago and his price was under that old quote. I gave him the ok to do the work and my car was ready to pick up this afternoon. I am very happy with the work and service I received and would not hesitate to use Oviedo Car Care, Inc again. I dont normally due reviews like this but think it is important to share my experience so the next person who checks on here will not panic like I did.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is a SCAM! My car wouldnt start so we had AAA recommend and tow us to this place (they are clearly working together to scam innocent people) Anyways, after waiting over 2 hours they came to the conclusion that the fuel pump was broken and quoted us $600!!!!! After calling around and getting quotes between $250- $300 I realized they were just trying to scam college students over. However, when I asked to have my car re-towed to a different shop, I saw one of the employees DRIVING my car to the lot.. wait, but I was just told it would be $600 to make my car start? So I drive it to the new shop who quoted me less than half Oviedo Car Cares price and after a quick look he says NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY CAR and it just needed starter fluid to pop an air bubble. He is what you call and "honest man" unlike this company. He said I dont need to rip you off and I dont need your money.. take your car home and if you ever have any more problems come back to me... THANK YOU OVIEDO CAR CARE FOR TRYING TO KEEP MY CAR OVERNIGHT AND CHARGE ME $600 FOR NOTHING. You will be reported.

Diagnosed 1600 dollars worth of repairs on my vehicle, some of which were not really necessary , and did not identify that the fuel pump was the culprit that caused my breakdown 1200 miles from home in the first place. If thats not bad enough, they tried to charge me for reattaching my drive shaft which their tow driver himself detached. But it doesnt end there. After I complained to AAA, the reattachment is suddenly free, but my bill didnt change at all. Shady shady guys here. I paid my almost 200 dollar diagnostic , and I wasnt even going to complain about this nightmare team until I heard from my mechanic a few towns over, that their tow truck guy was bad mouthing me when he dropped my vehicle off. Fleece factory here, and very unprofessional behavior. Avoid it.

Oviedo Car Care has been there for our families vehicles for several years. The service is top notch and the entire team provides honest and reliable work. I was recently headed out of town for a running race with my father and brother, only problem, my clutch/manual transmission started acting up late afternoon on a Thursday during my drive home. A quick call to Oviedo Car Care, "Drop it by and we will get you on the road as soon as we can on Friday." I was able to get on the road and made it to South Carolina on time. We are proud to support this wonderful local family business!!

Oviedo Car Care is excellent! I went to Pep Boys to get an estimate for a repair. The total came out to $605 which I knew was ridiculous. So I stumbled upon Oviedo Car Care and got an estimate from them. $275 out the door. They also found that my fan belt was very worn (which Pep Boys missed) and replaced that for 35 dollars. The staff was extremely nice and professional. They finished the job within the day and called whenever there was an update. I saved 50% compared to Pep Boys! Ill definitely be going here for any further repairs and highly recommend you give them your business.

We have had our 2003 Pontiac Montana handicapped van serviced at Oviedo Car Care for years. They have kept our 13 year old van in tip top shape. We recently sold the van for our asking price to another handicapped man who drove all the way down from Alabama to buy it. The reason he came was he could tell that Oviedo Car Care had kept the van in exceptional shape. Thank you to everyone at Oviedo Car Care.

Recently, my wifes minivan would not start, so I thought the worst. I had it towed to Oviedo Car Care. Within a couple hours the van was ready and it cost me very little for the repair. I have been bringing my vehicles to them for years and they have been very honest with me about the repairs and service. They are friendly and knowledgeable and can explain to me a repair in a way I can understand.

I called Jason Friday evening at 5:05pm to make an appt.for Monday. I was able to get my husband an appt for 7:30am Monday. We were greeted warmly and professionally and were told we would have an estimate as soon as possible. We had an estimate called in to us by lunch and the repairs were completed the same afternoon. The shop is very clean and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful.

Always a pleasure working with Craig, Jason, or anyone on staff. As with any mechanical situation with a car, you need to keep an open mind, have a great deal of patience, and treat those helping you with respect. Honesty is what you want from a mechanic and thats what you get from Oviedo Care Care. I finally found a mechanic I can trust.

AVOID AT ALL COST!! For shame!!! Ripping off a disabled old lady on welfare... You guys are the lowest of the low!!! You guys must have no morals or conscience whatsoever. If there is an afterlife, you guys are gonna get pretty crispy.
