Horrible customer service and accounting practices. I have used this company to manage my rental property for a few years and they have steadily gone down hill and screwed with my money. One summer, our tenants, who also happened to be personal friends of ours, called the answering service one weekend because the a/c stopped working. The answering service stated that an a/c not working was NOT an emergency situation. Sorry, but in the heat of summer in Florida, an a/c not working IS an emergency especially since they have a special needs child. Even after telling the answering service about the dangers to the child, they would not contact anyone about it. Thankfully the tenants called us directly and we took care of getting the a/c fixed that day. This is just one of the many complaints we have heard from tenants in regard to the customer service they received. I left money in our ledger with them for any repairs that may be needed but instead they still pulled money out of our deposits as well as paid for repairs that were covered under warranty etc and never used the repair money sitting there. When there are problems with deposits or rent they never call to inform us, we have to call them every time. Several months ago they realized their accounting was full of errors so they did a line-by-line audit of every account in an attempt to fix these issues. So I began receiving some money that was owed to me along with my regular deposits. When I called to verify why the deposits were more than usual, I was assured that they were correct because after the audit it was determined that I was owed more money. This went on for a couple months with us calling them asking why the deposits are so off but they again said they were correct. Our deposits began looking correct over the next few months until my December deposit never arrived. Usually my deposit arrives then a few days later my statement follows. When I received my statement it said funds were distributed, but they were not. No written notes on the printout, nothing. So we call and they said we owed them money after an internal audit and that they called and left a message (which they did not). We asked when they left a message and they could only guess it was the prior week sometime. So, if you are an owner, please proceed with caution. There are several other professional property management companies out there who are fully capable of keeping their accounting accurate and who are able to communicate more openly with their clients. It is not as complicated as Century 21 Commander Realty has made it out to be. We are unable to recommend them. Calls to the owner have yet to be returned.

Horrible service and company. Moved in on short notice but after that a disaster. The women in the rental office are very argumentative. After moving in only thing fixed was when a/c backed up, causing floor damage. Many things not working when I moved in. Garbage disposal did not work, refrigerator leaked and the shelves were taped on. Did not fix any after asking them to. When I moved out I already knew they were going to cause problems. First they didnt send the move out guild lines they are required to. Morning of last day of lease lady in office calls saying we had to have it sprayed for flees and have carpet cleaned, never mentioned beforehand. We Call pest control out and when they are there they tell me century 21 are real sticklers when you go to move out. Had carpet cleaned in one room thsr was already dirty and smelly when I moved in. Only room with carpet because they were too cheap to change it to laminate like the rest of house. Cleaned whole house from top to bottom. Cleaner than when I moved in. Still charged for cleaning $160. I would recommend you to never rent a property from them. Guaranteed you will have problems at move out. They also would not let me be there for move out inspection after requesting to. It made me give one star but really its Zero stars.

Very unprofessional! Will never rent through this company again. My husband and I rented a house from Century 21 for a year and had many problems. Out of four things we asked them to fix (broken garage door opener, bugs in the house, broken kitchen sink faucet, and plumbing getting backed up) they only responded to the pipes being back up. The rest they just wanted us to fix ourselves I suppose. They never returned phone calls, even if I physically spoke with someone and they told me they would. We moved out after our first year and they gave us nothing but problems when we did. The house was much cleaner than when we moved in yet they still said it wasnt clean enough so they took some of our deposit. The lady did the final out while showing the house to new renters. Very disappointed in my experience. Save yourself some hassle and rent from another rental company.

Phyllis Brookins took total control of both the sellers and buyers to make sure financing, inspections and closings went through without a hitch! But as we all know, something always comes up and challenges everyone patience. Well, Ive had three sales with Phyllis in the past couple of years, Moms house, condo and new house, and Phyllis took total control to make sure both buyer and seller did everytthing they needed to do in a timely manner. Phyllis found financing for buyers and sellers, as well as drove the transaction with the closing agent to keep everybody on task and moving forward. Selling and buying properties is always a battle to closing, but Phyllis is the "Master of the Deal," and brings all of the parties together for a great real estate experience. Commanders Century 21 has many realtors...but only one true professional...Phyllis Brookins!!!

We used Commander Century 21 in Panama City to manage our rental property. They did a very poor job. Prior Tenant moved out leaving the house a wreck and they moved in new tenants. We were never notified that the house was torn up and a mess until running into the new tenants who informed us of everything. The new tenants said they have contacted Century 21 over and over about the issues and nothing was getting resolved. As the owner, we were never ever notified of complaints or things that needed to be done with the home. Therefore, the amount of work needed on the home piled up and has been very costly. We should have received the prior tenants security deposit to cover these expenses! Beware if you are looking for a property management company to communicate well because they do not!

This company is the worst. If you have children, DO NOT USE THIS REALTOR!!!!! They only want your money and are very rude. Every staff member is rude. I broke my lease super early and moved back into an apartment just to get away from the nightmare of C21 commander realty. They want your money by the 4th of the month but it took them 3 weeks to fix my broken fence? I have kids for petes sake. Their very unprofessional. If they paid for my rent each month, I still wouldnt use them. Trust me, they suck! p.s. I only gave one star because they make you rate in order to give feed back. C21, take this star and shove it! getting out of my lease and losing that deposit was the best thing Ive done since dealing with u.
