They do NOT disclose all FEES up front, and possibly illegal practices. I wish I had seen these reviews before I hired them. When I was called with quote, I spoke with Anthony of Pensacola All My Sons and was told $169 for deposit, which would cover initial Travel Time Charge of $169, and there would be a 2 hour minimum at $169/hr. That was it, and I was fine with that. No other charges were disclosed or mentioned. NONE. On the day of the move, January 31, 2017, after the crew had been moving me for 3.5 hours and were 30 minutes from being complete, I was informed by lead mover there would be a $49.50 Packing Materials Charge and a $147.68 "FUEL CHARGE". Neither had been previously disclosed - ever. When I told the crew chief that, he did not act surprised or sympathetic. Par for the course. The "Fuel Surcharge," I was informed by the crew chief, was based on 15% of total Labor and Travel Time Charge. In my case, I was initially charged 4.5 hours at $179 (I had several last minute date changes, I was fine with the $179/hr), for a total of $805.50. This labor charge is charged to your credit card BEFORE their move is complete, estimating completion time. This is where their procedures are probably illegal. They estimated 4.5 hours of labor when they were at the 3.5 mark. If they finish early, which they did, they claim they will refund the adjusted labor charges, but I suspect they dont adjust the 15% Fuel Surcharge - which would be very dishonest, if not completely illegal. I may have to have my lawyer look into that. So, at any rate, Labor was $805.50 + $179 (initial travel charge) = $984.50 * 15% = $147.68. It was a 2 mile drive from one house to the next. ** TWO MILE DRIVE FROM OLD TO NEW ** Im not sure how they justify calling it a Fuel Surcharge, and certainly dont know how they charge $147.68 for driving 2 miles. The Fuel Charge/Surcharge was NEVER disclosed by anyone at All My Sons until 30 minutes prior to completion of the move. Had someone mentioned it, I would have asked for estimates. So, with the $147.68 and the $49.50, there was $197.18 I was not expecting to pay. All My Sons did give me my original rate of $169/hr vice $179/hr, but that still is only giving back $40 ($10/hr for 4 hours) vice $197.18 - still $157.18 gap. I wouldnt have an issue if charges are disclosed up front, but they werent. Ever. At all. Not once. Only the Initial Travel Charge and Hourly Rate. I even went back through emails. The only time a Fuel Surcharge and Packing Materials were mentioned were 3 hours into the move. And when the crew chief didnt seem surprised I when I brought it up, only confirmed this was standard operating procedure. Not cool. With that, I would not recommend All My Sons because of their less than upfront business practice. The 3 junior crewmen were great and mostly moving all of the time, were nice, and respectful. Nothing broken. But the business does not disclose all charges up front. Just find someone else that doesnt have the similar negative reviews.

!!!!BEWARE LIARS!!! Dishonest I called "All my Sons Moving" for a estimate for a same day move because a previous company stood me up. I spoke with Anthony at the company who gave me a $505 quote for the move and a breakdown of the charges. He recommended 3 movers for a little more by the hour but assured me the job would get done quicker. We came to an agreement and they sent the movers to meet me at my storage unit at 2:45. The movers did any average job (they werent in any hurry to move the furniture), from the storage unit to the apartment it took them about 45 minutes longer than it took me to drive there. Once everything was loaded, I made sure the moving truck followed me to the house. When we arrived at the house at 5:30 the driver got his iPad so we could go over the charges $1049, which had an estimated end time of 7:30. I was livid I asked the driver to speak with Anthony because the charges werent correct. He got another gentleman on the phone who told me the charges were accurate and that I needed to pay them, I again asked to speak with the person who gave me the original quote of $505 for the move. He said the he would have Anthony to call. He spoke with the driver and told him to instruct the other movers to stop working until the bill was paid in full. I spoke with Anthony who basically told me he didnt tell me any of things that we agreed upon in the original conversation, I hung the drivers phone up on Anthony. He called the driver right back and started cussing and getting irate to the point that the driver hung up on him also. I explained how unprofessional the whole experience was and he agreed and apologized for Anthonys behavior. At this point, I wanted the job done so we could settle in. I paid the bill $1049. The job was done at 6:45 so I was due a full hour refund ($149) but I received a refund in the amount of $110.

So I did not use their services, but want to leave a review regarding the process of finding the right movers for us. I called and received a quote, said thank you and I would be in touch if I chose them. Their pricing was shocking to me, so I went with another company. However, All My Sons called me a handful more times to see if they could obtain my business. Each time I told them I had chosen another company and I was no longer interested in their services. Easy enough right? Nope, then one day I received a phone call from I believe the manager or owner. He asked who I had chosen and I shared with him who that was. He then began to trash talk this company and state that "they dont even own their own truck! They rent it!" Actually, they do own it. He also bad mouthed the owner and said that he was "just a kid with his buddies trying to start a business" - my response is "and whats so wrong with that?". Also FYI - hes not a kid, is a college grad with a full-time staff who had the initative to start his own business, a two minute conversation and you can learn this. Honestly, this put such a bad taste in my mouth for this company that is supposed to be a family business. Not only are they twice the price of other GREAT movers in town, they seem to have absolute no regard for customer service and a lack of respect for other businesses in town. I will never book them and never recommend them despite their pricing based on the repeated phone calls and absolutely disgusting conversation.

Dont use these guys! We scheduled our move weeks ago. They asked us morning or afternoon? We picked morning, they said great, see you at 7:30am on the day we picked. Then less than 24 hours before our scheduled move they called and said one of their trucks was out of town so they couldnt be there until 10-12. Ok fine. We had to be out and have the place cleaned that day, so we were not happy with the change, but things happen. Then on the day of the move they called and said one of their trucks broke down and now they cant be there until around 2:00. At this point we figured we better scramble around and see if we can find someone else. We did (at a lower price even) so we called back to cancel. Now the story changed to they guarantee they will have someone there before 12 so we cant cancel. At this point we already had another company jump through hoops to help us out, not to mention that at this point, who knows if that is even true - they gave us 4 different times within the last 24 hours! So we said no, we will stick with the other company. Even though they screwed us around on a very stressful day as it was, they refused to give us our deposit back because "we" were canceling the day of the move. But apparently it is ok for them to postpone it 3 times until we got scared enough that called someone else. It was a $199 mistake because they are keeping my deposit. So if you are on a time schedule and you need to be moved by a certain time, do not call this company.
