Peaceful Ways

There is nothing to like. GO ELSEWHERE!!!! Many machines broken. The owner is a money hog! Ive since learned a lot from people that went to school with him, and have known him for years! It isnt about the customer... (SO IT ISNT ABOUT YOUR SATISFACTION...IT IS ABOUT HIS WALLET ONLY! !!!!!) I have been doing about 7 triple loaders a week at the laundromat in South Pasadena. I use bleach, as I have cancer and I need to keep things clean and disinfected. The green light comes on to tell you when you are suppose to add your bleach, which is diluted with a stream of water on the top of the machine. I did so in previous weeks. Yesterday, nearer 40% of my clothes/linens were ruined with bleach (2 of the 7 triple machines, that I added like I normally do, and according to their machine directions. Devastating. The owner came in. I explained that one washer (different than the ones that caused me bleach damage), didnt ring out the clothes the previous weekend. He gave me $3.00, for that washer, nothing for all of my clothes that I had tossed into his large trashcan because they were all ruined. I have cancer in 4 locations. I am fighting for my life. I am nearly 60 years old. I have no help. I know how to do good laundry. The clothes at the top of each of the loads were all ruined, the ones underneath were not damage. I have no money to replace my nice clothes, linens, etc. I just sobbed. Heartbroken. I will never use that laundromat, or any of his other locations again. YOU NEED TO GO ELSEWHERE! Taking care of his customer would have yielded him my return with my many, large loads of weekly laundry. Unbelievable. There are other "reputable laundromats"... Dont use these. Go on his website to see his other locations on the beach. Disgusting. I followed the instructions... like I do every week. The owner said I should have used ammonia. Does the machine say that? Ahhhh, "NO!" It says add "bleach" "here" when the green light comes on.

Surprised to see the other reviews are so negative. I have had a great experience with them, and this is after trying two other cleaners. They do a wonderful job on collars, which the other two could not seem to get clean, even when they put special instructions with the shirts. Glad I found them, was beginning to think it was a "Florida thing" that the cleaners couldnt get collars clean. In re-reading the other reviews, I think they meant another establishment. This is a Dry Cleaners. They dont have "machines", let alone broken ones. Those writers must have confused it with a nearby laundromat-no relation.

The worst dry cleaning business Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Absolutely DO NOT under ANY circumstances bring clothes there that you care about. They ruined 2 suits of mine and didnt have a care in the world. They even refused to take the ruined suits off of my bill. The people that work at this place are a disgrace to humanity. No chance any of them even graduated from high school. This is the first review Ive ever written about a business and I am doing it passionately so that hopefully nobody else has to deal with these clowns. Take your clothes somewhere else.

Not a nice place! On the largest side, today , 25% of the big dryers are NOT working! I didnt bother to check the washing machines! You cant even get a machine on the smaller side because private laundry services come in and monopolize it. If there are any dryers not in use on the small side, the skanky old ladies try to kick you over to the other side. Not me! Today is the last time I will use this nasty place. Unfortunately, my dryer is broken and I came in today. But NEVER AGAIN. I DONT KNOW HOW THIS HELLHOLE stays in business!!

Worst dry cleaner EVER! They messed up my fiancés $600 suit and STILL MADE HIM PAY FOR THE CLEANING SERVICE! Are you kidding me?! They messed it up before but corrected it. We gave them the benefit of the doubt & went back the second time for another cleaning. This time they messed it up AGAIN but made him pay for it and did not even try to reason with us. We dont want this to happen to anyone else...take my advice & find a different dry cleaner.

Most machines broken. Washed new quilt because it wont fit in stackable washer and dryer. My quilt came out with yellow streak. No phone mumber for emergencies. I dont even give it 1 star. Dirty not crowded because machines are broken. No attendant on duty.This was a nice place many years ago. I should have checked reviews before coming back here. Dont know how this place is still in business. Stay away!!!!

Used their dry cleaning services for years, always friendly staff, good service, lowest cost in the area, and havent had a stain they couldnt get out yet. Cant speak to the comments about the laundromat, but dry cleaning services are great!
