I used the local Roto Rooter a few years back for the entire plumbing project for an addition to my Prairie Creek house..They did a super job and I was very pleased, So when I saw their name on the recommended list for warranty work for Rheem water heaters I felt very secure. Unfortunately, the experience was so terrible that at the end I just canceled the order. I was told it was $325 labor to replace my water heater I agreed but as the man was leaving the condo to go pick up the heater he said there was going to be a $125 trip charge..I said isnt a water heater replacement always a 2 trip service since they dont carry all the water heaters on their truck so they dropped that "trip charge". Then I called the office and I was told that there would also be an upgrade charge of $50 and a charge for all parts...It was a long weekend so we scheduled it for the following Wednesday and I told them I would leave a check fo $325 and would settle up on the rest of the bill..Now this is a company that had done a job of at least $15,000 for me in that prior job. I called Rheem and was specifically told that all connecting parts are included with the tank replacement and that I should not pay for any extra parts. Wednesday came and no one showed up..I called and was told they would need my credit card for the extra charges before they sent the truck out..I asked how much would the extra be and was told they had no idea...But they needed my card..Could you email me an invoice so I can see the bill before I was charged and they said they could not do that. Then I mentioned that Rheem had told me that all parts were included and I was very hesitant to give a card for payment when I didnt know how much the payment would be for and what the payment would entail..They then said that I should reschedule the appointment for when I could be at my rental for payment purposes. At that point I just said cancel the order. I am not sure what has happened to this company. The owner is still the same...They had done such a great job on a very costly project at my residence but had totally lost all my trust with a small little project..My wife then told me they do the same thing all over town now ...They wont leave a job unless payment is made in full. A reputation is hard to build in our small little town but sure doesnt take long to destroy. Rheem has since dropped them off their recommended list for installers for their product..Roto Rooter of St Augustine wasted my time and was a complete disgrace to the plumbing industry. I would never use them again in 100 years.

Awesome Service and People. They took care of us from the initial call for help thru to getting the problem resolved. All done in a friendly, professional and timely manner which we appreciated at a price that was fair for services rendered that is greatly appreciated in these economic times. Have no hesitation in recommending this local business for any plumbing work!!!

I wasnt expecting them to be able/willing to help with a small job upgrading my shower but Steve came out promptly with a quick/fair estimate. The job was done by Robert in a couple of hours. He was excellent, friendly, professional, and courteous. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend.

The plumber that came out was professional, clean and neat. He got the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend that you use them.
