Service writer ignorant - brought in truck for an oil change and the mechanic found a leaking brake line. The service writer, Doug, informs me that I have two choices (1) the truck can only leave the property by tow truck (2) they can fix it there. He hadnt even gone to the effort to get a price for the repair. I ask the obvious and he calculates the repair at $250. I now have no confidence in Doug and this Napa shop so I tell him I will have the truck picked up with a car dolly later in the day. He then proceeds to inform me that if I dont have it picked up by 2PM closing time the truck will be locked in the shop until Monday. Seriously!? I ask him for a copy of the Florida law that allows him to impound my truck. Doug replies. "I dont know." The adds, "Call the Sheriff and ask him when he gets here." At this point my head is spinning with confusion. To make a painfully long story short Doug makes several calls. A handwritten note on the oil change receipt states we agree to have the vehicle towed and must sign it. Now we are waiting for the the Sheriff to arrive and write a report. It turns out a deputy calls him back has a discussion about the issue and ultimately tells him not to call the Sheriff with an issue like this again. I took possession of the truck a short time later. I dont know about you folks but that was the most bass-ackwards situation I have ever encountered at an automotive service center.

I have a 1998 honda civic hx. I love the car but i was getting frustrated with the problems that kept occuring. After many trips to the junkyard and many hours of attempted DIY repairs, i decided it was time to take it to a shop. The day before i was at an auto parts supply store looking at parts that may have helped me with my problems. The lady on the counter recommended i take it here and have them diagnose the car for $45 / hr. $95 / hr for repairs. The trip to Napa was well worth my time! They were very helpful and very lenient with me on the prices for the problems they were addressing. I have never been so satisfied with any other shop i have ever taken any of my cars to. If you have any issues with your vehicle i definitely recommend taking it here to Napa in the Villages, FL. Great customer service! Great work! At a great price! Doug on the front counter and Rob the mechanic were both very professional and did a fantastic job! I am a very happy customer! Thank you for eliminating my frustration! Keep up the great work! I will definitely be taking my cars here when i have any problems or concerns at all. :)

The guy at the front service desk needs to be educated on how to do his job! I called to make an appt for an oil change and clearly told him I had a Volvo C70 and had been using regular oil thru my Volvo dealership in Il since the car was new. I asked him if I could use a synthetic blend and he stated "yes" I also double checked with the dealer in Il and they said yes also. When I got there today he refused to change my oil because he said the computer states that Volvo says you have to use synthetic oil only. When I brought in my book it said Volvo "recommends" synthetic oil but there was no where that stated it must be used. He told me the Volvo dealerships are wrong and basically insinuated that I didnt know what I was talking about. Ive had the car for 5 years and the Volvo dealership in Il has changed the oil most of the time. If he would have checked the computer before I made the trip there I would have been a lot more tolerant. I would never do business there, ever ever!!!!!!

I stood by the desk for 5 minutes whilst the man was on the computer, The phone rang and he answered and went back to the computer. Is it too much to ask for him to say, "Ill be with you in a minute"? I will not try again, nor will I recommend any one Someday your business will be gone and youll wonder why.

Dont Know were these two went it sure wasnt B.G.F. Napa in Summerfield Fl. I got brakes done and some other things and they were very nice to me. Very honest and Great prices too. I will be back so they can take care of my car, Thanks again to every one there for being so helpful.

Excellent service.. Bought used vehicle and needed tire studs replaced.. 60-70 $$ for 2 threw in a brake system bleed @ a very fair price. Accidentally broke rusted bleeder valve on caliper and replaced @ no charge. Very fair and work seems good.

I was there in January to have front brakes done & was told I needed back brakes as well to the tune of almost $400. I came back home to Ohio & had another mechanic take a look. Guess what, no I really didnt. I was scammed. Beware!!!!
