My overall impression of Preferred Paint & Body is that they are honest, take pride in the quality of their work, and value customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, these qualities seem increasingly hard to find in the business world. First, they willingly took over the onerous task of wrangling with my insurance company in order to get them to cover the cost of repairs (several adjustments and supplemental checks were needed in addition to the original lowball estimate I was initially given). Second, they found and used OEM glass to replace the broken window in our CRV; we were getting repairs done after a break-in, and our insurance company was working hard to push us into accepting cheaper aftermarket replacement parts. After dealing with the stress of having our car vandalized, arguing with various representatives of the corporate nightmare that is a nationwide billion-dollar insurance company about why its wrong for them to avoid their obligations to paying customers felt totally disenchanting. Preferred not only took over this negotiation process (with which, admittedly, they have far more experience), but further, they came across as genuinely invested in fighting for the individual. I didnt have to do any work or explaining; they assessed the situation and completely understood that a principle of fairness was at stake. What wonderful business ethics! Lastly, they made sure that the repairs were of high quality: our car needed a pinstripe repainted; this is sometimes difficult, but they managed to seek out a specialist. Weve all heard horror stories about repair shops that do slapdash jobs. My wife and I had to wait patiently for Preferred to complete the job, but it was done right and well worth it. Our car may be a few years old, but were not rich and it is still a new car to us, having purchased it as certified used from a dealership just this Fall. I highly recommend Preferred Paint and Body Shop.

I am a firm believer in good service. Preferred Paint and Body not only met my expectations, but they far exceeded them. Marcia was very friendly; shes a very sweet lady. She worked with me and my HORRIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY the entire way through. She dealt with them in a very professional manner, and even managed to have my car repaired very, very quickly. The rear bumper had to replaced, and the car looks as if it had never been in an accident. Honestly, I could not ask for a better quality service. I would give them six stars if possible. Honestly, I would refer any friend to this place. Also, NEVER GET DIRECT GENERAL CAR INSURANCE! Also known as Direct Auto Insurance, those guys are horrrrible. They raise your rates every six months no matter what, it is impossible to get in touch with an adjuster, and the way they handle claims is downright appalling. Preferred Paint and Body, however, is 100% excellence.

I was rear-ended by a lady one evening when I was driving back from the grocery store to make dinner, and was worried that my car would never be the same again... ::Enter Preferred Pain & Body:: They made the process so simple, and everyone was so friendly it kinda makes me want to go out and get rear-ended again... At least a little, anyway! The receptionist that I dealt with most of the time (Marsha) was so absolutely pleasant and amiable that I felt like I was calling my mom to have a chat! She made sure my car was finished quickly and CORRECTLY! When they took the bumper case off the back of my car, they saw that the reinforcement bar was deformed, so they took the extra time to order a new part and do the job the RIGHT WAY! My car looks great, and it was as pleasant and experience as Ive ever had working with my car! THANKS PREFERRED!!

Preferred strives for perfection and that is why my family and I have been repeat customers for the past 12 years. I have had some serious damage to vehicles... most recently little Honda sportscar hit a large stag driving on I-75 at 75-80 mph - you can imagine how crippled the vehicle was and were very lucky no passengers were hurt... after Preferred performed their magic, the car looked and drove as good as new. I second all that previous posters have said about Marsha - she gives fantastic customer service and is such a sweet lady. I trust Preferred to do the job right and highly recommend them to anyone who wants the workmanship of true professionals (which I think is everyone!).

I would highly recommend Preferred Paint and Body shop. They are very professional, friendly and made the whole process so simple. They went and picked up the car at the towing company after my accident so I wouldnt get storing fees, worked with the persons insurance company that hit me and fixed my car like new. They were very conceintious and made sure everything looked right and was fixed right; I couldnt be happier. They worked with me so that I could have my car to go home over the holidays. The women that runs the office and answers the phone is so sweet, helpful and caring. I was 100% satisfied.

I enjoyed the professional service. My vehicle was restored to showroom condition after being rear-ended by someone driving a Cadillac sedan (I owned a Mercedes E-Class). And the work was completed as quickly as possible. If you want to have your cars body work done at a cheap price with a matching paint job, too, you may not like Preferred. But if you want an excellent repair job and a great paint job, I highly recommend Carl and his team at Preferred!! Thanks for a great job!!

After bad dealings with another body shop in town, we were referred to Preferred Paint and Body. Marsha was very caring and friendly and knowledgeable. Preferred did excellent body work and managed to correct the mistakes of the previous shop. We are very grateful for the way they handled the situation and guidance they gave us. I will take all my vehicles here for body work in the future!

Customer service was terrible. They left my car sitting in their garage for a month and never gave me a hint as to how long it would take or what was wrong with it. They did a good job of fixing the car but for the ridiculous amount of time it took to fix the car it wasnt worth the time, look for somewhere else.
