HIGHLY UNETHICAL AND DISHONEST! We contacted Molly Maid to get a quote on cleaning our house. We were quoted approximately $200 for the first cleaning since it is more comprehensive than any follow-up sessions. I work during the day, but my partner, Michael, is home. He is blind and generally doesnt like being on his own when we have service done, but we made an exception. The maids showed up as scheduled, spent more time than expected, and only cleaned the 2nd floor. When they were finished, they processed a credit card payment for the work done. Michael wanted to be nice, and offered a tip of $50 for the ladies who did the work. This too was charged to Discover. When I got home, I found that the maids had not done a very good job. The did a surface cleaning only, not a "deep clean" that would have justified a higher initial cleaning fee. Then I reviewed the paperwork and found that, without advising Michael, they had charged him an extra $113 for the job. I immediately filed a dispute with Discover to reverse the charges for $113 and for the tip. Obviously, a gratuity is paid as gratitude for a job well done. Stealing an additional $113 does not deserve a gratuity! I called Molly Maid the next day and talked Debbie, the owner or manager of the local office, who apologized, said she thought the additional charges had been discussed with Michael, but acknowledged that the maids discussed it with HER, but not HIM. She was kind enough to credit the Discover card for the $113 overcharge. A few weeks later, we were notified that the $113 dispute had been denied because Molly Maid had already issued a credit. However, they also denied the $50 gratuity. In the paperwork they filed, they circled the notation of $50 tip and hand wrote "HAPPY CUSTOMER". To add insult to injury, in her rebuttal to our complaint, she wrote, "I am concerned that Mr. David M did not want to pay for this clean." I specifically told her that I did not dispute the $200 charge, just the bogus additional charges that I now believe were a sneaky way to take advantage of the blind man who couldnt verify how much they were charging him, and the $50 gratuity. The $50 dispute was denied by Discover, so I guess they got away with it. But let this stand as a warning of the way Debbie and Molly Maid Fort Lauderdale do business. PLEASE NOTE: After posting this negative review, Ms. Floyd of Molly Maid Fort Lauderdale contacted me and agreed to reimburse the $50 gratuity. While I still think that none of this should have ever happened, I appreciate that Molly Maid did agree to make it right in the end.

Molly Maid is by far the WORST cleaning service I have ever experienced. They showed up late, and all though the Maids were exceptionally polite, one Maid did an absolute horrible job in my kitchen. She swept up dirt and placed a bag over it. A terrible job in mopping. (which a generic Wet Swiffer was used) corners and base boards were not clean like they assured me they would be. Just an all around mess and for $80.00?!!! Now the Maid who did the Bathroom did an ok job nothing thrilling. When I called to complain, Debbie decided to have the "Owner" contact me and she went on about how they are #1 in Fort Lauderdale and blah blah. Funny how they are rated 1 star all over Google in Fort Lauderdale all the way to Orlando, FL. She even assured me she will call me back and she what she can do for me. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard from a single soul. My advise to you is SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. RESEARCH CAREFULLY!! They were unprofessional, she even tried to raise her voice and somewhat had an attitude due to me complaining. Ill NEVER place an order with MOLLY MAIDS AGAIN!!!!

I enjoyed meeting the two women who cleaned my house. They were efficient, friendly, and made my house feel like a home again. They were prompt and understanding of our circumstances. We had to get a very dirty house that needed cleaning to get ready for a sale. They did a fantastic job! Thank you. I will definitely be using Molly Maid and hope to have the two same women.

I want to say that Debbie and team have done an excellent job cleaning my home. We are Sr. Citizens and they have always been pleasant and do one hell of a job cleaning. Debbie is very sweet over the phone and has always scheduled me a clean when I needed it. I trust only Debbie and Molly Maid

The ladies were faced with a heavier job than Im sure they expected and still did an incredible job in about a 1/4 of the time that it would have taken me to do anything half as good. They had me review each room after they cleaned. Very nice ladies. Im looking forward to their next visit.
