I originally took my computer to Tony to fix a problem from a windows update and possibly a virus. Was told my original 1tb hard drive was shot and had to be converted into an expandable hard drive. Tony then offered a cheaper computer and hard drive with all of my original programs and files copied over to replace the one I brought in. After bringing that computer home I found that it was far inferior to my previous computer and brought it back for a refund. After talking with him I decided to purchase a new computer elsewhere and bring it to him to "clone" or copy the original information to the new computer. Tony assured me this is a simple procedure and would be done the next day or so. This didn’t happen. Instead, he blamed me for uninstalling the bloatware he installed on my computer and installing my own software that I paid for (Avast premium). According to Tony the Avast was the reason the cloning process didnt work. By now over a week had passed and over 2 weeks since I initially brought a computer to him. I finally told him to just give me a fresh install of the windows from my existing licensing codes and I would install the rest of the programs myself. He did do this for an additional $80.00, which I thought was warranty work, but he jumped into a deluge of texts when I asked him about this. He did make an offer that I didnt have to pay but I didnt trust that he would complete the work and give me a working system. Also I asked him to make sure he removed the old wireless card and put into the new computer. After getting the computer back I found the 1tb hard drive has only about 250 gb readily available because he “incorrectly partitioned the drive.”, also the wireless card was not installed or returned to me. I also found and uninstalled a remote access program that allows other people to make connections to your computer. In my opinion this place is not worth the time, money, or inevitable hassle. I would say more but Tony has threatened me with a lawsuit if I gave my full uncensored descriptive opinion 911 Computer Repair. Tony after reading your response I feel I have to reply. You were not coerced into free service in any way shape or form. Perhaps you do not know the definition? Or perhaps I should threaten you with a lawsuit as you did me? You said verbally, not in writing, that the piece of crap (not literally excrement) you sold me was comparable to my original computer. My bad on that as I should have got that in writing. You refunded it when I brought it back so in my mind that made it right by me. That is not free work that is a refund on an unsatisfactory product and well within your stated warranty period. On that itemized list or whatever you were trying to prove there, you say that the window 7 install you charged $80.00 and the additional package of programs you like to install was $139.00. $139.00 is what you charged me when you put that garbage on the piece of crap (my opinion not actual refuse or actual excrement) you sold me in addition to the cost of the computer. That cost was not refunded back to me remember that? Did I push it? No. Your website. BTW your website quotes a very different price for that. You say you do not understand what I mean by warranty. That was just a question. That question was based on something you said to me on the phone the day before. You said along the lines of “I haven’t been working on it consistently as I need to eat”. I took that to mean that you did not expect to get paid. I do however expect that if I am paying for something that is overdue it should be a priority, and you yourself said it wasn’t. Your response was obnoxious sending 10 or so messages increasingly dramatic in nature. I was at that point done with you, and just wanted the computer back. It wasn’t until the missing network card, and the incorrectly partitioned drive that you earned yourself a harsh review. You got the review I as the consumer thought you deserved.

About 5-6 months ago, my Asus G73W laptop started crashing (BSOD) after running for 15 -20 minutes. This was my first ever laptop which I bought about 5 years ago. It came with Windows 7, an Intel core i7 Q740 @1.73 GHz, 8GB RAM, and 500 GB drive, so pretty nice specs at the time. I looked online for help, and after careful consideration, decided to use 911 Computer Repair. For me the main factors were the number, quality, and consistency of positive reviews. Two other plus factors: first, the owner’s efforts at responding to the reviews. In my mind it showed that he cared about his reputation. Secondly, his listing his pricing structure on his site which gave me a ballpark for comparison. Work on my laptop was done the next day. It has stopped crashing and is running much more quickly and efficiently. Tony next started working on a Canon Pro9000 MarkII printer that I also dropped off. Since that purchase, also about 5 years ago, it had never worked in synch with the laptop. Despite repeated calls to tech support to both Asus and Canon, I wasn’t able resolve the issue. The only way I could print was to reboot the laptop. Then, before it fully loaded to the Start screen, it would print the file. Not a practical method, so, the printer just sat. Tony started diagnosing remotely, and after waiting 4 days for me to get in a fresh supply of ink (hadn’t changed ink in 4 years), he got back to work. Within an hour after logging back in he managed to get it working as it should. I printed both a Word document and then a photo without having to restart. I hope I won’t need such services in the future (which is unrealistic), but, if I do I’ll be calling him again. I don’t usually leave reviews, but, in this case I’ll make an exception. I figure I’m doing other people a service.

My computer was donw again! I was so mad because it just came back from repair from Comp USA, where i bought years ago. They did some repairs, but I was tol to bur a new one soon. Before this episode , I took my tower to Best Buy...The ( Geek Suad) works on it also charging me a stiff amount of $$$! I was giving up when a friend of ours,Craig told us about Tony. After all this runaround ...I found out that Tony was the Man!!!He must be the wiz of computer. This attrative man was a God sent. After Tony repaired my computer, it was like new again. He made a special house call for me. His price was just right. The best part that blow me away is that Tony installed a new program{ remote controlled assistance} What does it means? At the push of an icon from my desktop , Tony can access my computer I always make a lot of mistakes and my puter is down a lot. So far Tony has been able to fix it each just by giving him a phone call. This is unreal to me, and so wonderful. I have been in Tampa for 20 years and for the first time, I can say that I found the ONLY guy you can TRUST.. His knowledge on computers put him on the top list of so-call professionals. Tony should be on Angie lists. HE IS THE MAN YOU WANT TO FIX YOUR COMPUTER. Thanks you Tony for everything you done for me.
