I had a fairly new desktop computer that was not booting. I had run some basic tests myself, and had narrowed the problem to a few potential issues, including a defective power supply. I brought them the computer for testing and they told me it was either the motherboard or processor. Based on their advice, I ordered and elected to have them install a new motherboard. That did not solve the problem and they informed me it must be the processor, which they could not test. After picking up my system, I elected to take it to another shop, Computer Direct Outlet. The tech there immediately diagnosed my problem as a defective power supply -- he attached a different one and the system worked perfectly. When I contacted Greg at Computer-Tech afterwards, he claimed that he had in fact tested the power supply before recommending a replacement motherboard, and he refused to offer any accommodation. His response absolutely strains credulity -- I am confident that if I were to go to the trouble of reinserting my old motherboard with my new power supply, the system would work perfectly. (In fact, I offer him that challenge, provided he agrees to refund everything I paid him if the old motherboard works.) My strong recommendation, therefore, to all potential customers -- go instead to Computer Direct Outlet. There, for a nominal charge of $15, you can take your system to their "bullpen" area and get expert tech advice. I wish I had known sooner.

I had an awful experience with this business. I brought in my HP laptop to get the keyboard replaced after some liquid damage to the board. I was told it would be $87.70, parts and labor included. 2 days later I return to pick up my laptop, and it looked AWFUL. The keyboard did not even fit into the computer. After complaining about the quality of work, I was told that this was the only possible solution to fix my laptop, as the original keyboard could not be purchased by them. I went and got a second opinion. Turns out they TAPED my keyboard into my computer, and charged me 40+ dollars to do that. They are very lucky I can not upload a picture to this website. After they yelled at my mother and tried to convince us they did quality work, we got a refund and I got out of that place as soon as possible. This owner is very deceitful and does poor work. I would recommend going ANYWHERE else than this place. I ended up going to another computer repair shop down the road, called TechHut. The gentleman was incredible and found the correct keyboard for a fraction of the cost, didnt even charge me installation after hearing how these gentleman treated me. This man changed his story 100 times and tried to rip me off. NEVER GO HERE

I would not recommend taking your systems or printers here. Greg was very rude at points even saying, "What do you want?" when I would call to check on the status of my printer. Of which he had for 5 days and of course the issue was not resolved. I had the sense that he had no idea what he was doing, he would ask me if I was using off brand cartridges. If he had taken it apart (like he said) he would most definitely seen that the cartridge was genuine. He told me that the problem was caused by the cartridge until I told him I tried two (this caught him off guard and he said he would look into other problems he thought it might be). He didnt seem helpful. I went to go pick up my printer at 11:00AM and of which they open at 10:00AM. No one was there and we even talked earlier that day that I would be picking it up that very day. Overall, take your systems to a more professional place where you can count on your issues being resolved.

Wow, the knowledge Greg has regarding computers, repairs, programs, etc. makes my head hurt!!! My computer was loaded with a couple of Trojans and way too many viruses; I couldnt logon to my computer. I was so scared that all of my information was lost, forever! Greg spent an extremely huge amount of time on getting my computer back in working order and saved my computer and my computer life!! Excellent job, Greg!! I would recommend Computer-Tech-Services to anyone who needs any type of computer help, no matter what the situation. My only suggestion is that, if possible, Greg explains computer issues, etc., so as a lay person, such as myself, can understand. I probably missed half the info he was telling me, LOL!! Im just computer illiterate :-(

I was having lots of problems with my desktop, the most bothersome was the slow speed, and failure to connect to the internet. I tried everything, to no avail. I looked up Computer Tech Services in the yellow pages and called them and explained my frustrations with my PC. Long story short, Gregg did a deep, and I mean deep cleaning of my machine and installed a "top of the line" | anti-virus and explained to me how to use it and it has been wonderful. My PC is running better than when it came out of the box. When I surf the internet, it is fast, I mean instantly, from one site to the next. If anyone is having similar problems, I will highly recommend calling Gregg, at Computer Tech Services, in Greenville.

We purchased a new ASUs Desktop and a Monitor from Computer-Tech. After the purchase, I had a boat load of problems, caused by my clicking on things I did not know for sure was the correct place to click. I really got my power settings and desktop backgrounds, and displays all fouled up. One call to Gregg ( the owner), and he spend about 45 minutes of his valuable time undoing my mess. To me, service after the sale is VERY important. I am very pleased with his help to straighten out my mess and will highly recommend his place of business to all.

This has to be one of the best, if not the best computer tech service in Grenville. It was a pleasure doing business with you guys. They fixed and solved my computer problems in a fair, decent manner of time. I really appreciate everything. This place has decent customer sevrvice, but the owner disregarded me when I told him what was wrong with my computer by saying "most people dont know jack about computers." Turns out I was right and received a jacked up computer with my programs deleted; for no plausible reason. If you have a serious problem I suggest to find a more reliable servicemen.

Owner fixed my MacBook Pros logic board. After my logic board failed (garbled screen/no boot) the owner was able to get the board repaired with a reflow of the solder. Apple doesnt make replacement parts anymore, and other shops wont repair, just replace. Costed a fraction of what it would have to find a replacement. Very pleased with this company.!

I found Greg to be excellent in repairing and solving computer issues that I encountered. I never knew I knew I knew so little about my own computer but he fixed my issues and after checking with me, fixed other issues I didnt even know I had. Greg was able to handle it all in just over an hour and really sped up my machine up. I really recommend.
