Hello, I feel compelled to reach out to complain about the experience we had tonight with your company. We have ordered many times in the past with no issues (and ironically, before ordering tonight, I commented that Doorstep Delivery is the one delivery service that always gets their orders right- ha!). We placed a simple order from Eats American Grill - the chicken tenders meal (with extra honey mustard sauce requested), and a Rib/pork chop combo meal. We waited the requisite hour for the food to arrive, and thought all was well. When we looked at the food, there were no chicken tenders, only a grilled chicken breast (note: why would I ask for extra honey mustard if I ordered grilled chicken?). I attempted to call the company to notify them of the mistake, and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I finally hung up and called back on another line, and reached a manager, who apologized, and said they would re-order the chicken tenders and have them for us as soon as possible. Another hour passes, and the manager calls to let me know that they had to "argue" with Eats about the order, but that the food was finally on the way. The driver shows up, apologizes for the mistake, and makes sure to let us know that she checked the order herself to make sure it was correct. We get the food into the kitchen, and ITS THE SAME CHICKEN BREAST ORDER, this time with a giant vat of honey mustard sauce. Meanwhile, two hours have passed, it is 9 PM, and now I STILL do not have the food I ordered. My husband called back to complain, and the blame was placed on primarily on Eats, but I think there were failings on your part, too (however, not really understanding why they had to "argue" with Eats about getting the order wrong the first time, and then why would Eats turn around and make the same wrong order a second time?!). Obviously in the big scheme of things, this isnt the most pressing problem in the world, but come on, guys. It shouldnt be this difficult to place a take-out order. While we were excited to see the Doorstep Delivery restaurant offerings in our area and had been using your services consistently, sadly I dont really see how we can give our business to support this level of ineptness.

Is there a way to do no stars? Horrible!!! 2 hours later $60 dollar bill from Cheesecake Factory. Ordered chicken and biscuits no mushrooms or onions, 1 red-velvet cheesecake, and chicken Madeira. Driver shows up 2 hours later, with two cheesecakes one with no onions or mushrooms (I verified the order on screen before I confirmed it because why would I order that on a cheesecake) and one Chicken. The nice gentleman showed up at the door and I proceeded to tell him it was the wrong order, he called in and stated "Hey it looks like a computer glitch because the order is wrong and I see the instructions on here." I called doorstep they proceed to send me to voicemail. I called a second time, when I spoke with a manager "Steven" whom proceeded to use no customer service skills, argue with me, offer no apology, then transfer me to Keri Bishop "General Manager" ,whom again argues for 30 more minutes about what I did wrong then finally states " I mean we can refund the chicken." States "there is no way the computer had a glitch" (because computers never do that right????!?!) and that its my fault for not verifying the receipt before they arrived two hours late, cold. When they pride their business on delivering "hot and fresh food with as little effort and stressed involved as possible" So here I sit a nurse who worked 13 hours over night "customer service" with my girlfriend who is also a nurse, hungry, big bill, no meal, and aggravated. I will never use this company again. The most horrible, horrible customer service ever. We both worked in restaurants around tampa and I have never been one to complain and the first time I do this is the result. Do not use this service.

This was the WORST experience with a company I have EVER had! I placed an on-line order @ 3:45 pm for the Red Elephant and asked for it to be delivered by 5:45 pm. I was called @ 5:01 pm stating that my order could not be placed due to the restaurant being closed for a special event, OK, things happen BUT is it not the responsibility of this type of service to MAKE SURE that all offers are available and if not make sure the customer is aware of this???!!! So I then call them back at 5:08 pm and place another order for a different restaurant, I was not offered any sort of compensation for the inconvenience, but what really was over the top was that I was charged $1 for a "phone order" because I really wanted to make sure that this order would have NO ISSUES. Then at 6:04 pm, I was called again to be told that the delivery guy was at the restaurant picking up my food, but he was informed that they were out of the "garlic spice" for the "Garlic Chicken Pasta"! So I asked what this meant and told the man who called that I didnt want plain chicken and dry pasta, so what does this mean? is there some kind of sauce? is there a different seasoning? what are you asking me???!!! My biggest issue with this company is that they charge your credit card before they even place your order with the restaurant that you are ordering from! So I now have 2 orders and $80 out of my bank account that will NOT be replace for a minimum of 24-48 hrs, but since it is a Sunday and its after 5 pm, it may take longer I was told! Please close this franchise! The people here do NOT know what they are doing and should NOT be serving the public!

Weve been ordering from DD since we moved to the area in late March. Our experience yesterday was enough to take a 5-star rating to 1 star. Our food was half an hour late which made it cold already. We were willing to overlook that; it was Friday, busy, and the first time they were late. However, they also failed to deliver the drinks we ordered. The delivery driver said hed be right back with them. So cold food, no drinks. 45 minutes or so later, called DD to see what the holdup was, they said that driver had been sent home and they didnt know he had failed to deliver our drinks but they would send another driver out immediately and we should have drinks in about 12 minutes. Um. No. Tried to call and talk to a manager and got disconnected. Finally, after yet ANOTHER phone call to DD, and after an hour and a half of waiting, we got our drinks. To their credit, DD did refund our delivery fee after I finally got to speak to a "manager" but thats just not enough to make up for the fiasco that was our meal experience last night. As I said to the manager, there are far too many food delivery services out there to put up with this lack of customer service. Dont know if well ever use them again or not.

Wouldnt suggest working for or ordering from this company. There are some nice people there but overall its a mess. On the employee side office wise you get very little training mostly bits and pieces from other CSRs They expect you to use your personal phone (This was not actually company policy as far as I know just something extra some people choose to do) But they expect you to use your personal phone And your desk phone AT THE SAME TIME to call restaurants, customers ect. While imputing orders from eat 24 and grub hub. WHILE ON THE PHONE. Oh yeah and if 5 calls come in while your on both your phones your somehow expected to get them all. (science backs up that very few people can multi task and that its nearly impossible to do so ) The "operations manager" tends to bounce between super nice and so stressful and negative that it makes you feel sick. Most of the drivers mostly have nasty attitudes. And when you quit and leave for a better job. They refuse to direct deposit last checks Im assuming as some form of punishment for not wanting to deal with all of the bullcrap. So now im waiting for a check to come in the mail that should have been here by now.
