I used to go to this salon often when I lived on Davis Island a few years ago. I recently moved back to the area and, not sure what happened, but it is not nearly as good. My husband got his haircut... 2 days later he went back because it was so horrid...they attempted to fix it but its a mans haircut, only so much you can do. For my experiences, I tried sending George the owner SEVERAL emails over several days because i received a confirmation to a hair appointment that had been rescheduled days earlier. Then I try calling the salon and am hung up on the first time and the second time on hold for 10 minutes ...all to RECONFIRM an appointment i had ALREADY changed. When I expressed I was annoyed that I am spending a ridiculous amount of time for their lack of management, she said "well the owner, George, is really busy so he doesnt always have time to respond"....um then why dont you get an assistance George? If your "too busy" to respond to the individuals that support YOUR busy and to address errors in YOUR system...no words. Im sorry - but for such a "nice" (expensive) salon - their customer service is horrible.

I lived in FL for the last three years and only went to Studio Cabello. I would travel from St.Pete/Clearwater area to Davis Island to get my hair done. All of the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere feels very cozy. George greets you at the front desk and is very kind. I have seen both Elaine and Catherine. They are both so wonderful and do a great job with both color and cuts! London also blow dried my hair once - he is your guy if you need some volume! :) Maria gives wonderful hand massages and relaxing shampoos - she is also very sweet. I truly enjoy Elaine as she fixed my hair three years ago and has made it beautiful ever since. Upon getting ready to move north last month Elaine took the time to look up new salons with me in my new state and send along notes for the next stylist. She is a wonderful woman and stylist who I will miss greatly. Studio Cabello is a must in that area! :)

I am in sheer disbelief by the amount of talent that LONDON showed that he DID NOT HAVE when he completely butchered my friends beautiful blonde hair. I have seen plenty of bad haircuts in my day and I must say this looks like a three year old was blindfolded and took a pair of clippers to her troll doll. I advise everyone to stay away from LONDON and STUDIO CABELLO as a whole. The customer service was beyond poor and made my poor friend jump threw hoops and spend hard earned dollars to get her hair fixed, and even for the most experienced stylist, it was quite the task for her to fix LONDONS mess. AVOID THIS FAULTY ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COST. KTHNX

I have been a client of Dawns for almost 10 years now —that speaks for her incredible talent, professionalism and a true passion for working with people. Her innate sense of style and knowledge of the current trends makes her a star. When I learned she was going to be at Studio Cabello I was even more thrilled. As an Aveda concept salon, it already possesses the level of professionalism and personal service I was looking for, (along with great products), but the addition of the warm and friendly staff (and my Dawn) makes it a complete package. Happy to be a client!

My stylist at Studio Cabello is Dawn. She is very professional, always does an outstanding job, and has a great smile:) All of the staff at the salon are very kind and accomodating. They offer libations (water with sliced oranges, coffee, tea) a detoxing and relaxing atmosphere with soothing music, scalp massages, warm towels to wrap on your face while you get your hair washed, and AVEDA products. Who knew that getting your haircut could feel soo good!! Thank you Dawn and all of the Studio Cabello staff!!

I am new to the Tampa area and was in need of a good salon/hair stylist. After meeting Alexis at our complex I decided to give her a try and I was definitely not disappointed! I needed my hair highlighted and also had a few negatives going on with my current style that she helped me correct without hesitation. She was sweet, personable, professional, timely, and most importantly I love the way my hair turned out! I will definitely be going to her from now on and would recommend her to anyone :)

I went to Studio Cabello when I first moved to Tampa and recently strayed to a more convenient salon that gave me a terrible haircut. I called Studio Cabello to see if they could fix it and how much they would charge. George scheduled me with the owner, Elaine, and she created a fresh, adorable cut out of the soccer mom helmet that I walked in with---free of charge! Talented staff, great atmosphere and there for you when you need them. I will never stray again!!!! Thank you Studio Cabello!!!

I just moved here from Los Angeles, California... and was clueless and NEEDED a cut... I luckily was at Davis Island walked in and had a random appointment with Heather... She does awesome color and "great" with long hair too... (keeping your hair long but giving it a "style") I usually dont write reviews.... but felt the need to ;) ~ She is a great stylist! I have a place close to me in Ybor City,(that I heard was great) but I really like the price and great job they do here ;)

I have been going to Aveda salons for years, this was my first time at this salon. They took me in on time (!), were very friendly, and Lauren, who is a jr stylest, did a fabulous job with my highlights. At this rate she wont be a junior for long. I will be returning here again absolutely. Give Lauren a shot, I know a lot of folks are worried about the skills at the junior level but she was a true professional.

Elaine has been my stylist for more than 8 years now. She always does a phenomenal job, no matter the request. The salon is very pleasant and relaxing, and the location in the heart of Davis Islands is perfect. And while I have not had my hair done by any other stylists (apart from Elaine), their customers always seem satisfied as well. Love Studio Cabello!

A good stylist is hard to find...Ive found a great one in Vicki. I started coming here when my stylist Vicki moved here. Id follow her anywhere. She is amazing. She has not only cut my hair but my daughter and sons as well. She talks with you thoroughly and makes sure she understands what you are looking to have done. You will not leave disappointed.

I love Studio Cabello! My husband and I have both been going there for over a year now and we couldnt be happier. I have recently gotten several great haircuts from Catherine. She is wonderful and because she is still relatively new her haircuts are very affordable. I highly recommend both Catherine and Studio Cabello. You wont be disappointed!

This salon is hands down the best in Tampa Bay! Dawn has been cutting my hair for 6 years and does a fabulous job! It also helps that shes an amazing person and wonderful to talk to during my 3 hour treatments. Alexis has been doing my waxing for sometime now and shes also fantastic! The owners, George and Eileen, are doing it right over there!!
