Terrible experience. Although the workers were nice they were slow and took 3 hours longer than the estimate. We gladly paid the extra because we needed the help. We also bought damage insurance. When the move was complete they had torn up our refrigerator, scratches all over the front and a 12" gouge down the side. When moving the refrigerator I told them that Sears told us the doors would need to be removed to get it out of the house. They took the handles off and then proceeded to move the appliance. An hour later it was out the door. The plastic protective wrap had been removed and rather than taking the doors off as I mentioned several more times they fanned open the French doors and wiggled it back and forth damaging the refrigerator in several places and tearing up the door surround. This event cost us extra because of the time they took. The refrigerator could have been out the door and in the truck in 15 min had they taken the doors off. Now their general manager will not honor the insurance we paid extra for. They also tore up the floor in the new kitchen. For that the GM offered $100 for the damage and implied that was being generous because he could have it patched for less! Yes everyone wants a nice big patch on their kitchen floor. The linoleum is not beautiful, but it was functional until we can replace it. But now it will have to be replaced right away. That $100 wont cover the tax, but this company doesnt care. Theyve made a lot of money on us and now they are unwilling to honor their agreement and take proper care of the damage their worker did to our property. One of the movers even told me that if we file the insurance claim it will come out of his pay. I guess this was his attempt to get me not to file. They left the refrigerator out from the wall, apparently in an effort to cover the tear in the floor which I had already seen and discussed with them. They told me they dropped the refrigerator and tore the floor, but the company has no responsibility to take care of the damage their workers have done. Even though, again, we bought the insurance for up to $10,000 in damages. Please be careful before you hire this company. They seem very nice and you will trust them but they are dishonest and untruthful.

My family moved into our home in late May. We where contracted for 5 movers and 2 trucks to move everything in our 4 bedroom home. My family spent 10 hrs moving all the boxes, holiday decorations,clothing, garage, tvs, and China. We had our pool table moved and leveled by a professional. Basically all that remained was furniture table chairs, washer dryer, 2 refrigerators, Beds and dressers. To my surprise only 3 movers showed up with 2 trucks. My quote was discounted $30 an hour. Funny thing was Edmond the GM had quoted me $179 in early May, for 4 men and 1 truck. Our estimate was 5 men 2 trucks for $270. So the additional truck was costing me $109 an hour. ( kinda fishy). The men worked slow capping my move at 15 hrs. I was offered a 2hr CREDIT for damages: Hole in door, scratched bedroom furniture, scrarched living room furniture, and to top it off a broken pool table.( they moved our table to the side and broke the leg) total damages amount to $3000. Edmond settled for half the payment on the day of the move. Then sends me a certified letter for the balance. When I call him to speak about this he keeps putting me off and telling me he has to speak to his owner Tom. Best Deal Movers prides themselves on being a Military family run business. Being born and raised Military, I pride myself on honor and integrity. NON OF THESE WHERE DISPLAYED BY THIS COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM RUN!

If you want to pay 5 men $300 an hour to smoke cigarettes and check their smart phones all day then this is the moving company you should hire. The original proposal was for 200+ items to take 9.5 hours. I rented a box truck and moved 130 of those items myself in 8 trips in 9 hours... They came for the last 60 items and it took them 9 hours... That is less than 7 items per hour... 1.3 items per mover per hour. I am pretty sure this is so slow it may be a Guinness Record Breaker. The owner of the company bragged about how they completed the work under the time allotted by 30 minutes. When I asked to audit the inventory moving estimate, my emails were ultimately ignored. Slow movers, high dollar, broken 75 inch flat screen, two Refrigerators with doors removed and parts missing, plastic wrap left on everything.... and now crickets. Read the Facebook reviews and see how Yelp is not matching any other sites star count. Look at the picture below. Thats how "hard" these movers worked in the middle of the move and all the time. I submitted to my credit company a request to refund half of my fees. The owner of the company blamed on us, the weather and unforeseen circumstances.

We were so happy with our move with Best Deal Movers! My husband and I downsized from a large house that we had been in for a long time. We had a lot of stuff to move! Lots of boxes and several VERY large, heavy pieces, including a baby grand piano. The piano is one that belonged to my grandfather and is sentimental to me. The guys worked carefully taking it apart and wrapping it for the move. Some of the things in the house had to come down a long flight of stairs, and then when they were moving things into the apartment, the elevator stopped working! The guys didnt complain at all when they had to walk further, and carry everything up the stairs to the apartment. And then they helped me with suggestions about how to place things once they got them in. All the guys- James, Harold, Nate, Mike and Dameon were willing to go the extra mile, and were happy to help me. They were polite and courteous and friendly, and worked really hard. And Lance was very helpful to my husband setting up and planning the move, and answering our questions. This was the first time that weve hired help to move, and Im glad we found Best Deal Movers. We would certainly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Best Deal Movers to anyone who is about to make a move. They are professional and quick when it comes to getting your home moved. I spoke with Lance over the phone who helped set up our move. He was easy to work with and helped us think through every aspect of our move. He also quoted us a price that was fair, and even called to check on us the day before the move to make sure there wasnt anything else we needed. On moving day, our crew (Charles, Abdul, and Keith) did a great job of explaining to us the plan to move. They worked quickly and all of our items arrived undamaged. They got everything loaded into the house in a timely manner as well. Charles, Abdul, and Keith worked hard, had a smile on their face the entire time, and were very polite. I would highly recommend Best Deal Movers! Their focus on customer service from the time you call to the time you move is top notch!! When you call, ask for Lance and make sure to get Charles, Abdul, and Keith as your crew! You wont be disappointed. If we move again, my family and I will be sure to contact Best Deal Movers!
