After a different alignment shop told me my brake pads needed replacing, I went back to Jiffy Lube with this news ( and only 15,000 miles on the new pads they charged me $160 for). The store manager inspected my brakes and told me there was lots of ware left on them and I was totally ok (and I believed him, as most brakes should last for closer to 50,000 miles). Turns out, the inner pads were totally worn, which ruined my rotors a few days later. Upon calling the store i was informed that my wheels were never removed, the inner pads never inspected, yet I was told the pads were OK... or I was blatantly lied to. This cost me $300+ to replace not to mention the safety of my vehicle that I use for Uber. Hamiid (store manager) offered me a free oil change ($50 value) or provided a corporate complaint line. I called the corporate line, which said the district manager would call me within a few days to resolve the issue. They never called. A week later I called again, and was again told they would call (theyre apparently in a never ending meeting). Finally a month after the incident I called and demanded the district managers contact info so I could call him. I called Lorenzo Stanfield, the district manager, who again offered me a free oil change against the $300+ in damages caused by his managers lack of attention, but no consolation for jeopardizing my safety and that of my Uber customers (not to mention ignoring my complaint for a month). Two weeks later the free oil change coupon was never mailed, and I doubt it will be. After three years of service this is how I was treated. COMPLETE DISSATISFACTION, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE, PAY DOUBLE TO TAKE IT ELSEWHERE!

Avoid at all costs! If you purchased the groupon coupon like I did, the money you save will not be worth the hassle you get in my opinion. I had the oil change, tire rotation, and rain-x treatment on December 19th. I had not gotten more than half a mile away from the store when I heard a rumbling sound and a thud...my front drivers side tire had fallen off! The people there had not properly fastened the lug nuts. When I called the store to have them come fix the problem, it took them close to 15 minutes despite being within sight of the store. After they recovered some of my lug nuts which had fallen off along the way, I drove back to the store to have the tire properly put on. The manager then had the audacity to say "Im sorry. We can give you half off your next oil change." He made no mention of a refund, or the fact that he had seriously endangered me but thought the equivalent of about 20 bucks would be sufficient. To top it all off, when I took my car to a dealership to inspect it for any damage, they found that the people at Jiffy Lube had STILL not properly tightened the lug nuts. Two of the five were not fully fastened. Unbelievable. I have been jumping through hoops to get them to do the right thing, so avoid my situation and do NOT ever deal with Jiffy Lube!!!

Ive been waiting an hour for an emissions test. They havent even started on my car yet. Seven people are working. One refused to get off of his cell phone and gestured what we needed to be doing while yelling obscenities into his phone in the parking lot. (Most were continually on their cell phones, in customer service this is generally a fireable offense.) The manager sitting behind the desk was on his phone and watching something on his computer as we walked in and continually acted like those that were asking for assistance were bothering him. I needed an emissions test. Im still here an hour after arriving and not only have they misplaced my place in line but they refuse to give an estimate on the time left. I have changed oil in my drive way, I dont understand how someone could wait 45 minutes for their oil change here. You could easily learn to change your own oil for not only the price they charge but the time they require to do so. Think Im harsh? They are supposed to be professional. Right now no one working here has expressed any sort of proficiency in any part of their jobs. Find somewhere else. Boycott bad service at service stations. Also their coffee tasted like soap and the TV was the size of an ipad.

This is the worst oil place to have your vehicle serviced. I ordered the signature oil change, tire rotation, and rain x treatment. I specifically asked the service person to check everything because I had recently purchased the car and was not sure how well it had been maintained. He ensured me that everything on the check list would be checked. The air filter, windshield wipers, and transmission fluid level were not inspected during the maintenance but were marked as “ok” on the check list. The technician did vacuum the front floor, but did not touch the back floor at all. When the technician rotated the tires he used an impact gun without a torque stick to reattach them. For those of you who don’t know, this is the easiest way to strip a wheel stud and make it nearly impossible to change a flat at the side of the road. I worked at Sears as an automotive technician (2) for 3 years, but got suckered in by a coupon to Jiffy Lube. The technicians were friendly, but beware of using this establishment to service your vehicle.

I decided I would try to give them another chance. I wasnt really happy with past experiences. They are more expensive than other places, and they missed many items on their checklist. I know, I watched them. They continually try to upsell you on items you "need". Dont get me wrong, I did need those items, and I understand this is how they make money. The thing is I also know the work involved and the cost of parts, I usually do my own work. I just didnt have much time this weekend. They told me I needed a new cabin filter. I did it was gross. However, they wanted to charge me $60-$70 for it. I didnt even pay that much for a oil change and air filter on my car. My problem is what if youre not mechanically inclined? I just feel like I shouldve done the work myself. I didnt like feeling like I had to keep telling them no. Dont let your family go if they dont know a lot about vehicles. A simple oil change can turn into hundreds of dollars.

Not from Athens area, but was in town for an appointment for a child and had some time to kill, why not get an oil change? Against my better judgement, I let the tech talk me into a new air filter — yeah, I know better. Imagine my surprise when I got a call today from my local car care center, where I dropped the vehicle off for a check before my family takes a spring break trip. No air filter. No screws in the air filter box. Wide open. Jiffy Lube manager informed me that he wasnt working there then (not his fault?), and suggested I drive over and let them "take care of that." When I told him I dont live in Athens, he asked what I suggested he do. I asked him what I should do, and he said call Corporate... Ive been on hold with "Corporate" for 33 minutes, so far.
