I cant recommend this company The ability to contact them is nonexistent. The option of the return call seems to place you at the bottom of the list until the list has no more people on it. Only then, many hours later, will they return your call. I did not attempt to hold longer than 10 minutes per instance because they give no indication of how long the hold may be or what position your call is in the line. When I brought up the issue that the return call finally occurred over 3 hours later, the lady on the phone just sat there in silence. She did not apologize for the wait or anything. The delivery day of the container was even worse. I was told to call the morning of the delivery to find out what the delivery schedule would be. No phone number was provided. Having worked in transportation, I find it silly that they dont know their delivery schedule until 8:30 am on the day of delivery. I had to search for the Buford locations contact number and that number rang and rang until I was disconnected twice. I then called the main corporate number and 4 hours later this time, I was called back to say that I have to call the local facility because they have no information about the delivery other than it can take place at any time during the day. Finally at 4 pm, the driver contacted me and said he would be there at 4:30. I could barely understand the driver as his English was so broken. When the driver finally arrived at 5 pm, my helpers had already left and we had to re-schedule some other friends to help us lift the heavier items out of the container. Do yourself a favor, and dont get trapped doing business with a company that you cannot reach their customer service. I should have gone with PODS.

I used 1800PackRat for a move from Clearwater, FL to the Atlanta, GA area. From initial scheduling to final delivery of the container for use the process was very smooth. The container was delivered on time in Clearwater for me to fill with the contents of my home and they were on time for the scheduled pick up a few days later. Everyone very helpful! I chose to have my Pack Rat stored for almost a year at a nearby facility in the Atlanta area. Anytime I needed access to the unit I called and it was available within 24-48 hours. Finally, I have the unit scheduled for drop off to be emptied and again the process was smooth and everyone was very helpful. It only took a day to empty which unfortunately it rained all day. The gentleman scheduled to come back and pick it up was very flexible. He called when he was going to be on his way and I asked for a little more time due to the rain slowing us down and he was very accommodating. Thank you 1800PackRat for making my move a little less hectic by having the process so efficient and being so kind during all of the logistics coordinating!

I had been postponing redecorating my home when while driving my a local Lowes, I saw the Pack-Rat storage unit. I needed the flooring replaced in my house and wanted to paint the interior at the same time. Unfortunately my house is tiny and I have too much "stuff". The Pack-Rat solved my problem! I called, reserved the unit and it was delivered exactly on time. I was concerned about the delivery since I live on a non-County maintained road and have a winding gravel drive. The driver had no problem, even saying that he had delivered in more challenging situations than mine. i moved everything except the big furniture into the storage unit and the flooring and painting was completed with a minimum of fuss. After unloading the unit, I called for a pickup which was as simple and convenient as the delivery. Thanks PACK-RAT, you were the answer to mine prayers!! I love my "new" house!

1-800-Pack Rat made our moving experience easy! The associates and LDMs were all helpful and instilled confidence in our decision to choose Pack Rat. Delivery of the unit was as promised and all the drivers were competent and friendly. All of our goods arrived intact and on-time. We were so satisfied that we ordered another container the next week! (Our original plan was to rent a truck.) And the price was much more affordable than the "other" container company!

I was very apprehensive to use any moving company after hearing so many negative experiences and having so much trouble getting companies to respond to requests for quotes, etc. 1-800-Pack-Rat was great to work with. Except for the Denver office, every person I requested information from responded promptly and clearly. Our stuff was delivered on time and safely.
