My smart box experience was horrible. The Smartbox Atlanta team was very unprofessional, lacked appropriate customer service and left me regretting trusting them with my household items. They brought the smart boxes on time but took over a week to pick them back up. While they were stored the autopay bill option was horrible as sometimes it charged my account weeks later than it was supposed to. The bill was due every first week of the month and sometimes they would wait to take the money until the next month. When it was time to receive my boxes, it was a hassle getting in contact with them, then they thought they had perhaps lost my box. When it was finally found I received my boxes to discover that 1 of the 4 boxes didnt have a lock on it and it looked as if the lock had been broken off with bolt cutters. Will not recommend the atl smart boxes to anybody!!

We had the pleasure of using @Smartbox for my her daughter apartment move. We had a one week gap from the time she was moving from @PostBrookhaven to a house in the Atlanta area. It was so nice that we didnt have to rent a truck. @Smartbox was very affordable and provide us with a small unit to accomplish a one bedroom plus kitchen table and chairs move. What I liked about @smartbox was I didnt have to rent a big @POD but one that would fit the needs of a small apartment. They delivered on time and picked up on time. It was a smooth and easy process. The way the @SmartBox opened give us more room at the top and we packed it to the top and used every inch of space. I will use them again.

Initially, things were great. The driver was polite and right on time. After I received my stuff at my new house, things went way down hill. There was a bunch of things damaged in my box, it almost seemed like it went rolling down a hill. Apparently they arent responsible for damages. I spoke with the owner, Ned Geopp, and he just gave me a bunch of excuses to why the damage wasnt done by them. Edit: After reading other peoples reviews, it looks like Ned GEOPP had his family write a few of these reviews --they even read like a sales pitch now. Stay away from this dishonest business.

I cant say enough good things about SmartBox Atlanta. They were there when they said they were going to be and really helped coordinating things on the delivery end since they didnt service the area in Florida to which I moved. They coordinated delivery with a local moving company, who also had to drive 60 miles to get to me, and they coordinated labor to unload. It was a truly great experience and a good way to do what I needed to do ... multiple pickups (3 boxes each time) to load and one delivery and unload of the six boxes. AND ... NOTHING got broken or lost!

They are simply the best. The other guys around will charge you for an extra month even if they arent running on the days you ask to be picked up. Smartbox will work with you on your specific situation. You get to deal directly with the owner/operator, who is a great guy. The driver who dropped our boxes off was able to expertly fit them in the driveway so that they were easily accessible (not an option with the big containers from the other guys). I like the smaller boxes because you really can use every cubic inch of space.

SmartBox boxes fit our needs perfectly. We had to move items out of our home temporarily for a home renovation project and found many portable storage units to be cost-prohibitive, especially for the short period we needed them. SmartBox fit our budget, ordering them was easy, delivery and pick-up went exactly as promised. Everyone I spoke with provided courteous, helpful service. We could not have been more pleased and highly recommend SmartBox Atlanta.

Ned was friendly, responsive and a really easy person to work with and helped estimate the number of boxes I needed. Steve, the driver, was very skilled. I was disappointed with the mover whom I used but that was not SmartBoxs fault. They did not pack the boxes well and we had some breakage. I did not submit claims because it would have been more trouble than it would have been worth.

Communication is great with the company. Smart boxes are great for college students storage for a reasonable price. Butttttt they do not cover damages. I stored my things in one for 3 months and my securely wrapped tv was cracked when I took it out of the box. They gave me a bunch of numbers to call just to say that they do not cover damages. They did not even care to accommodate me.

Affordable in-town move solution; nice people. I had previously moved across states using AFB and other boxes, but when it came to moving within ATL itself (2 miles), the other boxes cost as much as moving multiple states away. A friend suggested SmartBox- worked out great.
