Called them just after 9 am to see if they could repair a broken LCD screen but still operational screen on my laptop. After a few questions related to the the laptop the answer to the question "can you help with LCD screen replacement" was "hell yes". I told him I liked his enthusiasm and would be there in a few minutes. Drove to their place off Sixes road and entered the store. Was greeted by one of two guys standing on the customer side of the counter conversing with each other. We discussed the issue with the computer screen, potential pricing, I told them I was good with their estimate. I was told that the repair could be completed but first the Bezel around the LCD screen would have to be removed to identify correct LCD screen by the number located on the back of the screen. I asked him if he could remove the LCD screen to get the identifying numbers from the back before I left the store. Response was they did not want to charge me twice for the remove and replace the screen now and when it was brought back for installation of a new LCD screen. I told them I was "okay" with paying for the work twice as I needed the laptop to complete some work on it today and wanted to make sure the correct LCD screen was ordered. I was asked to leave the laptop just as a third person (perhaps the owner) came in and I responded that I needed the laptop to complete some work on it today. Third person asked if there was anytime I could be without the laptop and I responded in so many words that it was a tool I used every day. I asked if I could come back on a day when they were "not so busy" and get them to remove the LCD screen to get the identifying numbers and the guy (Nick) now behind the counter said that would not work either. So I picked up my laptop, turned and walked out the front door. As I was about to get back in my car the third person to enter the conversation (perhaps the owner) came out the front door and said some words that I could not hear, so I stepped closer to him and asked what it was he said and he responded "I was not come back as I was not a customer they wanted to do business with". Keep in mind those words as you consider doing business with the Cherokee Computer Guys because if you do not fit into their narrow box of "customers they want to do business with" you may also make the same discovery too late. I made the discovery just in time.

If you want honesty and facts about computer repair this is the place to go, if it is not worth fixing they will tell you. Always had great repairs and quick turn around time. Saved my butt twice!
