I have an Altima. I took my car to Conyers Nissan to have it checked out bc the car was making a loud noise. They said a portion of the weld near the catalytic converter came loose. Since they dont weld, they could only replace the entire system. They suggested me to carry the car to Midas instead bc they could repair the weld. I carried my car to the Midas in Covington because its closer to my home. They told me the hole was in a pipe that extends off the catalytic converter. So I had to replace it. He presented me with a print out of the cost. The part was $500. With labor they wanted $612. I left. I stressed for 2 days. I knew I couldnt drive my car with an exhaust leak. It would not only pollute the air but the exhaust fumes would get in the car (leak under the cabin of the car), and I have 2 small children. I called Nissan back. The weld is in a vulnerable area on the exhaust and they evidently see this a lot. They told me to carry it to the Midas in Conyers. I took it yesterday. The repaired the weld for $150. That was probably still too much to pay for a weld, but I was truly relieved to pay that over what I was looking at paying. Covington Midas not only tried to perform a costly and unneeded repair, but stressing over the problem and associated cost was awful. Sad when you cant trust ppl to do whats right.

***UPDATE*** Its been over 3 months since I had an exhaust system put on our vehicle and they did a HORRIBLE job. I left a review on Google reviews and was contacted by the owner who even called me to ask what problems I had and I told him and its now been over a month and NOTHING has been done, NO refund, REFUSED to fix it without me giving them MORE money to fix a problem THEY made, I am NOT that stupid and DID NOT even apologize! They have HORRIBLE customer service and are very RUDE, will NOT recommend to anyone! I ended up having to take my vehicle elsewhere to have it FIXED! I feel like I should get my money back seeing how I had to PAY someone else to FIX what they screwed up! They work too fast to do QUALITY work! *Original Post* Had the exhaust done on our vehicle about 3 weeks ago, they didnt put the exhaust system on it I asked for and then they refused to fix it! They got their money and thats all they care about, would NOT recommend to anyone! Theyre employees are not the most friendly either, nor are they very welcoming.

We brought our vehicle to their on at least two occasions and was told heir were no problems with our transmission. We were told by two other shops that there were problems with our transmission. We were told to have our vehicle looked at there, at Midas because they do repairs for Precision Auto in Conyers. Mids so called mechanics refused to make any repars. Only a few weeks afterwards the transmission completely burnt out, leaving my wife stranded on Sigman Rd The attitude they had towards my wife, who has major health challenges, was disgraceful.Shops like this need to close their doors and find another to make a living.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Took two perfectly good vehicles in for the $30 Oil change. Both cars had MAJOR OIL LEAKS by time I came home. MIDAS response, including their corporate, its normal. No oil leak before, but its normal to have 5 quarts of oil in your driveway after an Oil Change....? AVOID
