The owner here is a con artist and is extremely condescending and unprofessional. I went out of my way to go to this gas station for the prices. I was finishing up my payment at pump number 5 and hit the button for REGULAR twice. I turned around and placed the pump into my tank. When I look up to look at the pricing, something seemed off. I looked down and realized that I was being charged for ULTIMATE. I stopped the pump immediately and went inside to report and explain the situation. The polite cashier told me that he would get his manager. The manager comes out and is already defensive right off the bat. I explain what happened and he pushes the blame all off on me. Even after I had told him that I had paid for REGULAR gas and some how the pump ended up still charging me for ULTIMATE. In so many words, this pathetic man, in so many words, calls me stupid and implies that I dont know how to use a gas pump. Instead of apologizing and offering to put my payment towards the selection of gas that I intended to pay for, he decides to just throw his hand and walk away after I questioned his claim that the pump had just been inspected. In short, Id avoid this man and any parts of his business at all costs. Hes a con artist. He admitted that this has happened multiple times to several different people and still the problem persists.

I will never go to this place again. We had our car towed hee. They said the car was flooded. They said they had to pull and change the spark plugs. 3 weeks later the same thing happened to our car. We took the car to a different place this time. They asked us if the last place changed the plugs. We told them they said they did. They showed us the plugs that Standard said they change and they were old plugs. That there was no way that they had changed the plugs 3 weeks prior. I suggest if you do go here to ask for all your old parts. That they say the changed. They just put the old plugs bck in and charged us $216. Also the cause of our problem was bad fuel injectors. When they never mentioned. They probably new the issue would happen again in hopes of us bringing our car back to them.We will never go here again. We suggest you dont either.

i have been going to Moe and Musa for the past 3 years and i have a a 93 Acura legend, i would say i am joking or lien but this cars is seriously old, rusty, but because i am lucky guy i brought it to Standard Auto service where they really took care of it and the result is i am using it up until now. the car has 215000 miles in it and i still go to Grand Rapid every now and then. this Auto service is the best, honest, clear, also the cheapest in town. and i believe these bad comments are jealousy not competition

Just had my first visit to Standard Auto Service Center, the service there couldnt have been more pleasant and professional. This was by far the most honest auto repair facility I have ever dealt with, "the show and tell" with Moe was very informative and straight forward. Then Musa took over to give the costs and what was necessary or not, everything "up front ". The service technicians completed their work in a timely manner, no standing around. All in all a very positive experience !!

My car wasnt starting, wasnt sure why. They accepted my car on a very busy day and I had it back within 2 business days with a new starter and battery. Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, quick, polite, and honest staff. Id highly recommend them.
