If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in for brake issues and I had previously gone to another firestone so I thought it might still be under warrenty. The issue this time was that the breaks werent working at all. They informed me a needed a new master cylinder and front pads. $500 later the break pedal is almost impossible to push down and a few days after the repair the breaks went out completely again causing me to almost crash. I go back to the store, leave my car, and after a few hours they told me I needed to get my car towed to the dealership because they couldnt find the part. Well, if I can get the part from the dealership so can they. After some negotiation they miraculously "found the part." They told me theyd call when it was ready. Of course, they didnt call. When I called they said it wasnt ready. I asked if they would actually check instead of just telling me no and the man said "actually it is ready." When I got there they didnt know where my car parked and couldnt find the keys. After waiting another 30 mins I realized one of the workers was digging through I trashcan to find the broken part they replaced. This is after I informed them I was in a rush to get to work. My car is still having issues with the brake but I wont be returning to this firestone ever again.

I would rate this company as negative 0 if there was such a thing. My first experience was horrible, I turned over my keys to get two new tires at 5:17 pm and was told that it would be done at 7:00 pm, I left and came back at 7:10 pm and my car had not been touched. What a waste of my time, I wished I had just went with my first choice and went to NTB. Not only will I never come back to this company or the location at South Dekalb mall, but I will never recommend anyone to them. I am so glad I didnt spend my money with this company. I guess its true that you definitely have to go to certain areas to get the best service and South Dekalb location is the worst. The customer service sucks!!! The lack of communication horrible and it seems that a good seminar for all employees for this company good do some justice. I advise anyone who is considering using this company to rethink and go with someone else. Because you will be waiting a life sentence for anything to be done to your car. I definitely learned my lesson and will stay far away and you should too.

Firestone Complete Autocare is generally a great auto service chain for your vehicle, I have been a repeat customer for years with multiple vehicles serviced. However, this location seems to suffer from a lack of staffing, poor morale and an abundance of work. Whether you come in on a Wednesday night or a Sunday morning, you will inevitably wait over two hours for an oil change or longer for more intensive services. Allegedly, the staff maintains that you can receive much fast service with a reservation. Perhaps that was this customers fault, although that is not posted anywhere on site. This location is one of the few auto service locations open in the area at 8am on a Sunday. Their work is great, but there is no sense of urgency, their magazine collection is geared towards women and their customer service is often spotty. They should invest more money in their customer experience if they are going to tie up several hours of a day for a 30-45 minute service. Especially when their basic oil change is $41.

We had visited relatives in Albany and Douglasville, Georgia and then hit an enormous pothole when pulling off the highway after I got over heated. Busted two run flat tires and searched all night for Atlantas 24 hr tire Facilities. Only found front tire, but found a Firestone, at 4:00am slept in the car until they opened. The gentleman opened the door at 7:00am on the dot; greeted us with a smile; escorted us to the appropriate section; inquired as to how he could assist us today; discussed our tire selection; printed out our work order and handed to the young man who took it in the back all within about 10 minutes if that long the fastest ever. The tire mounting took maybe a tad longer because the young man had to wait for them to bring the tire to him. He also doubled checked to make sure we didnt want another run flat. I would estimate no longer than 15 minutes total and then, we were on our way back to Maryland. Thanks Firestone for having such efficient, friendly and fanstatic employees.

I made an online appointment for 1:00 p.m. on July 25th. I called at noon and spoke with Ken, to ensure my car would be finished within 45 mins, because I was coming on my lunch break. I arrive at 12:45, get checked in by Randy by 12:57, this man didnt even ask me for my car key... I sit in the waiting area until 1:36 and still no service, no key request- nothing! I am highly annoyed and frustrated due to my time being wasted and terrible customer service. If I could give this establishment zero stars I would solely based on Randys terrible customer service. I do not and will not recommend this location to anyone in the south dekalb area!!!

Since moving to the south-east part of the city I have been using this store and every time I get very good service from really sincere and hardworking folks at this Firestone Complete Auto Care. For one, Jay Miller, is a phenomenal person. He is very diligent, sincere and professional also he is exactly the type of person that keeps me coming back. I have had terrible experiences over the course of the years and I have switched stores several times but with how the folks at this store treat me and all the other clients I am probably going to start calling this store mine.

Making an appointment is pointless when you still have to wait 8 hrs for brakes and oil change! The warehouse shipped the wrong brake pads and it took 2 hrs for the right ones to arrive but the staff said nothing.....found out at checkout counter. The manager did remove the brake charge but simple communication on their part wouldve saved us both time and headaches. I wont recommend this location to anyone. Firestone is still a great company. Im never going back to Firestone South Dekalb Mall, Candler Rd. Decatur Ga!

Traveling from Charleston, SC, I had a tire that kept needing air put in. Passing through this area, I called Firestone and asked if they could get me in for a replacement tire and they were friendly, explained things in a way that I could understand (which is extremely helpful!) The wait was a little long, but they had to get a sensor replacement from another store, so that was understandable. Overall I liked the customer service and the service itself.
