I wish I could give it 0 stars. Rude Passport Clerk. I made a passport appointment 1 week in advance for 2 pm, September 5, 2014 for my son and I. I arrived early to make sure all my paperwork was in order. The passport lady advised me I would be attended until 2 pm which was okay with me. 2pm rolled around and the passport lady was no where to be found. 2:05 pm rolled around and still nothing. 2:10 pm and I was getting a bit impatient as a customer. 2:15 pm and still no passport lady in sight. She finally shows up at 2:18 pm and with an attitude to top it off. I asked her what happened if our appnt time was at 2:00 pm and not 2:18 pm. She said it was my fought because I decided to show up early. HUH??? I responded, "Being early to appointments is a good thing. Plus I was here to make sure all my paperwork was in order before being served." The clerk responded, "Its not acceptable to be early to appointments in this office-Not today." I was simply seeking an apology and I would have got over it but the clerk had a super nasty attitude with me. She never said Im sorry and said if I wanted to change my appointment time to another day. She stated, "DO YOU WANT ME TO SERVE YOU OR NOT?!!???" Why on earth would I change my appointment time to another date and repeat what happened today? She added, If I continued to be upset she would refuse to serve me. At one point she returned all my paperwork and refused to serve me because I wanted a simple explanation on why it was acceptable for her to be late. Either way, she served me very forcefully and there was tension between us the whole time. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! That lady, Elaine, really got under my skin and ruined my whole day with negative energy surrounding it. Crazy how one person can affect the rest of the day simply for having a bad attitude. I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and the way she spoke to me was totally unacceptable and disrespectful. (On another note, When I arrived early, I noticed how a family was turned away because they were late to their passport appointment by 15 minutes and here she was late to my appointment and it was totally acceptable). Another thing I noticed while I was waiting is that the office is understaffed. I called the Post Office line and was advised there should be a Passport Clerk on duty around the clock and obviously this simply was not the case. When I asked the manager she stated that the other Passport clerk was on leave. Oh and the Manager on Duty was present the whole time and never stepped in to apologize either. She permitted the clerk to speak to me rudely the whole time. Finally, I further noticed how Elaine was super nice with other customers both times I was in the office. I dont understand why she was so rude to me when I arrived early and when she arrived late. In a way, I feel discriminated. I would like to go back and see how she treats other hispanic people.

Let me start by saying I have never posted a negative review of any business before. This is the WORST shipping office I have ever had to deal with! I first contacted them on July 28th because they said my package was delivered but it was not. After 3 phone calls trying to find it, I was told I was a lying and that there was nothing they could do. I still do not have the sneakers I paid for and the manager refuses to contact me to make things right. Now it is 3 weeks later and I had to pay for another pair of shoes to ship to me and those were marked as "undeliverable". After speaking to 3 people in the office (2 extremely rude and condescending men and one sweet woman who finally corrected my address that somehow was "blacked out" in transit), my package shows it was delivered to my lock box today. I was so excited, opened my mailbox to get the key to my lock box and inside the lock box was just a key that is not labeled and does not go to any other lock box. Even though I have pictures for proof, Im sure Im going to be called a liar again and have paid for 2 pairs of shoes and received 0. This is the WORST customer service Ive ever received and if I do not hear from the management tomorrow after leaving my information for her 8 times with employees, I will report them to the USPS (as headquarters has instructed me to do). This post office cannot be trusted to simply return a phone call let alone deliver a package. On a separate note, they consistently leave rows of locked mailboxes open so no ones mail is safe here.

There are no words to describe just how bad this place is. 1) They will talk trash about you while you are on the phone, they forgot to put me on hold. The level of rudeness in person is also impressive. 2) They lie about package status and whereabouts. They tell you it has been returned to sender, but it hasnt. Sometimes it eventually shows up at your address, sometimes it is lost in the land of misplaced socks. 3) "Attempted delivery" is code for they didnt feel like delivering or they missed your package and dont feel like going back. I had three packages en route for delivery one day (all from Amazon) and one was undeliverable as addressed. It was supposedly returned to sender, but that never happened. 4) Ignore the location of the delivery because it isnt there, it could be in your mailbox, the mailroom, a package locker, your front door, a neighbors door, on the ground, who knows! Fun, right? 5) They will open and/or damage your packages. I recently received an "undeliverable package" that had been "returned to sender" (Sure it was) and it had been opened. I am not talking some tape being damaged, I mean a pull tab on the side of the box was removed and the side pried open to the point it was detached from the rest of the box. The deliberate "let me see what is inside" kind of open. I guess it wasnt interesting enough. If I could avoid using USPS, I would.

I just got off the phone with the manager Tracey, first of all they kept me on hold for 20 mins!! When they finally got on the phone he was extremely inpatient and rude with me. Per Tracey my package has been delivered the carrier signed off on it. As I attempted to explain that I received one package but not the other, he said that it was delivered what could he do about it? Today is July 2, so he said he will follow up on the details with the carrier Monday, o give him until Thursday before following up. Yet my package should have been delivered June 27. I tried asking him another question and he kept interrupting me. I have no choice but to use this particular postal office, and I am so disappointed in the way they treat customers. I am by far not a rude individual, but I know how to be just as mean, difference is where would that get anyone?? The staff are always complaining about how people come in at the last minute, FYI people do have jobs and children so if we get there 5 mins before closing please do not complain. Do your job with a smile or find another job more suitable for your personality and qualifications. I seriously hope this place gets better. For the manager to be so rude to me lets me know they could careless about the customers needs. Sad moment. Hopefully they will resolve my issue with my package soon.
