I have been using this post office for months now and its always been the same lady in there. Today I bring in a UPS package and Im still new to sending out packages so I dont notice these things. The same lady was in there as well as another employee (Charleeze?) and with the nastiest attitude told me, "We dont deliver that, thats UPS." Wow, my mistake I was taken back by how rude she was. Normally, the other lady will hand me tape so I can tape the printout on the package. So I ask her if I can at least use the tape, because they have always just handed it to me. She laughs, tells me no, and tells me I can pay for it. Again, with a nasty attitude. Theres no way Im spending money at this point, so I ask for her name, because even though I never call businesses to complain, I honestly dont feel comfortable coming back if shes going to be there or act like this again to me. She points at her name tag and tells me her name and tells me I can take a picture. I look at the employee that Ive always dealt with and she doesnt even say anything. She doesnt try to jump in and help the situation at all. She just says the tape is a courtesy. I understand that, but there is no way Im turning around and purchasing tape after this employee just treated me like crap. As Im walking out she mocks me saying, "You cant stand being wrong can you?" The issue is not being wrong. The issue is a person working in the customer service field should have been polite and maybe even suggested where a UPS location is. Im at a loss for words. I cant believe they would put someone like this at a local post office, a place that I dont have a choice but to go to. If I can find another way to deliver my packages I will be doing so.

I got a notice in the mail 7 days ago saying that it was the final notice for a piece of certified mail and that i needed to claim it within 15 days or it would be sent back to the sender. I find out that they claim to have tried before to deliver the mail, but i havent gotten any notices or had anyone come to my door trying to deliver it. My grandma lives with me and is at the house everyday around the time the mail is delivered and immediately checks the mail right after she sees the mail truck drive away. She has never seen the person driving the truck get out and come to the door. Today I finally made it to the post office before it closed (Ive been trying for 3 days now) and they tell me the mail has already been sent back. It hasnt even been 15 days. I got the notice on the second of the month today is the ninth.... Im very upset with the whole situation. If i could give less than one star I would.

Absolutely typical government run service. in a word, horrible. I watched my mail carrier toss a package clearly marked FRAGILE HATCHING EGGS from ten feet away onto my concrete porch. Fortunately it was insured but that was the only upside as the eggs were totally scrambled. The staff at the post office were rude and completely unsympathetic.
