Overall when it comes to customer service they are terrible. Here is my story, I am a college student with a kid and several responsibilities just like everyone else, only difference which varies between certain individuals was the fact that I am African American. Ive had past experiences with this post office and normally I get terrible service, but its the closest one to me. Before the experience that I had to day, I was told that I should call in advance to let them know if I wanted to pick up my package because the worker had to go to the back and get it as if it was back breaking work. So I did call in advance over 15 times, the phone will ring for about 4 min before it ending itself and closing the call. At the time that I had called, I guarantee at least 10 people where in that building. The offices hours are (8:30am-12:30pm). The supervisor got there at 8am this morning keep in mind. The woman who I first spoke with when I walked in was nice but didnt know how to handle it so I asked to see her supervisor. The Supervisor, Dwayne has terrible problem solving skills and decided to get loud with me because they cant follow their own company policy after they broke it. Then Dwayne decided to tell me that their are certain rules to picking up a package after its in the store and sorted. I have already done so in the past so I questioned to Dwayne when did this policy change. According to him only some people can get their package in the office but the decision is apparently made under who ever is at the counter. The lady at the counter did not know how to proceed and that is how I got into this situation in the first place. Now if I was in charge of the supervisor also known as the post master(His name is mike), There would be a lot of fixing. This office opens at 8:30 am, but I would advise you not to call because they are not going to pick up. The phone will ring for a total of 4 min until it shuts off, and if your lucky like I was two times they picked up the phone after 2:10 and hung up, almost as if someone was ignoring the calls. USPS needs to fix this. Ive already talked to corp and waiting on a call back. Hopefully you can avoid their terrible customer service

USPS tracking number showed a package to be out for delivery to my home on Friday, when it didnt show up on Friday or Saturday I called on Monday and was informed that the package was not delivered because the " mail receptacle was blocked" ? When I informed the person on the phone that I had received letters in the mail Friday and Saturday and asked why didnt I receive the package? I was told that the regular delivery person was off work for a few weeks! They searched the post office for the package and found it and I was told that I could come pick it up or theyd reschedule another delivery! They couldnt make the first one why try again? I NEVER received a "could not deliver notice" it also was not necessary to sign for the package, I elected to drive to the post office and pick up the package which I had paid to have delivered to my home! Moral of the story: if you are having a package delivered to your address by the Batavia post office make sure that your "regular" carrier isnt off work first or your delivery will turn into a pick-up.

Couldnt find a package that showed as "delivered" via online tracking. Contact post"master" and was told that they verified, with the carrier, that it was delivered to my address. Two days later, the package was brought by someone outside my neighborhood. The package was delivered to the wrong house. Next up, postmaster notified me to remove a basketball goal that was a "safety concern" for the carrier. The goal has been up for over 6 months with no complaint. To be fair, it is close to the mailbox, but is not blocking the delivery in any way. The only way to hit the goal would be to plow through the mailbox first. Nothing I can do since the carriers opinion is all that counts, and there are no specific regulations.

This is my home post office, and Im ashamed to admit it. I live in a townhouse condominium that uses gang-style mail boxes. Unless it fits in the small box (and by fits, I mean squashed in), I have to pick the item up at the post office the next business day. Ive rarely had a delivery to my door. Additionally, I am consistently receiving mail for other addresses in our community. Not always the same, but a lot of times its for the same address number, but another street. It makes me wonder how much of my mail has gone missing.

Answer the phone once in a while, better yet when a customer drives 18 miles to pick up a package that tracking says is being held there, have the package there. Needless to say if a shipper says usps shipping, I will not be ordering their product. What makes it worse is when you ask the carrier about it, they act like you are bothering them. No wonder they are going broke. I still dont have my package and have no clue where its at.

This is my post office for convenience. I have been PO Box customer for 7 years. The mail seems to always be on time however, if you need to go inside, be prepared to stand in line...for awhile. It is the holiday season with only a few shipping days left before Christmas. The line is out the door and only ONE clerk working the counter. Really? This postmaster should be fired. Customer service people!

Answer the damn phone. I was supposed to have a package delivered by June 7, and I even received a notification that my package was delivered however, I havent received anything. The tracking number only shows that it was picked up on June 2 at 12:50 am. Id like to have this package as soon as possible but these people dont know how to answer their damn phone. Horrible customer service.

Answer the damn phone. Live plants tracking says held at post office on 4/13 but was not in the mail picked up on the 14th. I need to call on the 15th with the tracking number but it has been over an hour trying to call and no one answers. I will hold this post office responsible if the plants are dead or if they delivered to the wrong address. I will also bill them for my time.

Had our mail forwarded, and have had nothing but problems trying to get our mail. the yellow sticker on what mail we have received that USPS created has had 2 different addresses to forward to. But its not their problem if you ask them and the supervisor in Batavia could care less and just walked away from me at the counter when I was trying to explain the problem.

Half the time I call, I get a busy tone. The other half the time, I will literally let it ring over 60 times without getting an answer. Theyve had my package for over two weeks because it was supposed to be forwarded, but clearly, they arent forwarding it. Its already past Christmas, so Im hoping that my husband will get his gift by Christmas 2017.
