At Advance Auto, found out my car needed brake fluid, we filled it, and was referred to 155 Automotive next door to check it out to see what was wrong and the cost to fix. They offered to come drive it next door (I didnt ask, and said I could), then they put it up on the lift. They told me the right calipher was leaking, and itd be $245 to replace. I told them I couldnt get it done yet, I would get it back home and have my dad look at it. Then, they gave me a bill for $68 for driving it over and taking off the wheel. Never have I been charged by a service station to tell me what they would charge. Good quality businesses, tell me whats wrong, what the charge will be and I make my decision. I could see maybe $20 tops for their 3 minutes of work, but to charge someone nearly $70 to tell me what I knew.. I just wanted to know what the labor would be to fix. We had words on how he charges, and he told me I could take it out in the paper for all he cared, he doesnt work for free. I will never be back, and will utilize the other fair, honest mechanics in McDonough who tell you BEFORE they do the work, what they will charge. $70 to a self-employed mom of 4 doesnt come easy.

Ive gone for oil changes before, which was good, but this last visit there was someone working there that was new and told the machanic to run a test that I didnt know about which was $68. I told him the problem I was having and he did not tell me that he was going to run a test that was going to cost me $68. They change oil and changed the battery for me. I was charged a total of $200. The machanic told me I should have talk to him first. Well, how was I suppose to do that when he was in the back. I guess I will going back to Ford from now on. Its further to drive, but at least I wont get ripped off.

This shop takes an extremely long time to get any work done. Ive been out of my car now for 2 weeks for 2 bad shift forks and still dont have my car back nor has the shop done any clerical work yet to contact the warranty company. So to put it shortly in 2 weeks they have diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. This is the first and last time I will use this shop.

Stay away from this repair shop. They my car for over a week and never fixed the problem which turned out to be missing fuses. I do not believe these people are honest. They charged me two hundred dollars to release my car which was fixed in several hours at the dealer.
