Terrible...this is the worst post office I have ever done business with. They are inconsistent with how they operate the business. I went in today to get MY OWN MAIL certified letter with my ID/drivers license. The lady behind the door would not release MY OWN MAIL because the address on my license did not match the letter but my name was clearly exactly the way it was on the letter as it was on my license she asked me if I had a bill with me to show my address, now I am thinking to myself and as I said to her I dont have one with me I dont know of many people who do carry their bills with them just for this purpose so I have to go and get a bill and come back to show this ignorant woman that this is my mail thank you for wasting my time over your stupidity. I have gotten a number of certified documents with the business I work with that doesnt have my name or address on the letter and give the same ID and I have never been refused mail. When I questioned her about that she said "That she doesnt do that I dont know who you dealt with before that has done that". For her information I have dealt with her and others in the past for certified mail and this is the first time I was refused mail from the post office and it was MY OWN MAIL. I dont personally have to deal with the post office except for this one time and if I did I would request that my mail be sent somewhere else and they wonder why they are losing money and closing their facilities is because no one wants to deal with their attitude or their inconsistency. Figure out your policy and train everyone to do the same so you dont waste peoples time. I dont use to post office for anything unless I have to just because of this reason!!!

3 weeks ago I called to make an appointment to get my passport and passports for my two children. After being on hold for 15 minutes I was hung up on. I called back and was able to make an appointment. I called back and got an appointment for three weeks out. When I went in to the office during my appointment time and walked up to the counter I was met with a man who clearly did not want to deal with me. I told him what I was there for. I was bombarded with questions at the counter in front of everyone. My situation with my childs father is not ideal and I did not appreciate being questioned about it in front of every person in line including my daughter. This guy was not even the person who was supposed to help me. When the person who was supposed to help me finally looked at my documents (still standing at the desk) she saw that I had missed 2 blocks on my form and got frustrated and told me I need to read my documents. Im thinking arent you here to help people with this process? Isnt it your job to make sure people fill out the documents correctly? I finally spoke to the supervisor who was also less than helpful. At this point I was irritated but by no means out of control. Supervisor, Joshua J Howell, told me it wasnt their job to fill the forms out for me and I needed to go somewhere else. No Joshua, its not your job to fill the forms out for me but it is your job to help. I filled out and printed all forms myself so clearly I wasnt asking you to fill them out. I do not trust these people to do the right thing.

I stuck a bill to a credit card company in the amount of $1,000.00 plus in one of the mail drops outside the post office about 1:15 PM on June 26, but the chute was clogged and the bill would not drop down into the box. I tried to get it out, but there was other mail that was also stuck. I reported this to an attendant at the side desk who said that he would take care of it immediately. However, I waited out there for about 15 minutes and no one came out to attend to this. If it comes a hard blowing rain, all that mail will be ruined. Ive tried to call the post office but that phone is always "busy". Six days ago I mailed an envelope (in the post office) to Stockbridge, Ga. and it hasnt arrived yet. Also, pay for a post office box and get as much of other peoples mail and I get of mine. Often, bank statements and other important documents never reach my box. It seems to me that the post office is not efficiently run. With the price of postal service, the public deserves more than it is getting.

If I could give this place a rating of zero, I would. My two day priority shipment never arrived. When I track the package online, it says it was refused---by who, I live alone, so that tells me it was delivered to the wrong address originally. I spent 1 hour and 30 minutes on hold for the customer service agent supervisor to tell me that there is nothing she can do b/c its going back to the shipper and the only thing she can do is document this in the comments. Her advice is for me to call the actual location. What happened to someone calling on my behave once they realize a mistake was made? Why do I have to do the foot work to find out what happened. What kind of process is our government running. So basically you are telling me that Im going to have to pay for this to be reshipped to me again? Great!! There is no accountability what so ever with USPS. The item that I purchased on 4/20/17 in which I needed for 4/29/17 is now going to be May until I actually receive it.

My experience is horrible. Today is March 18, 2015. I havent gotten a single piece of mail since January 15.2015. I have called the McDopnough post master so many times I cannot count. I have even spoken to my mail carrier and she said she would get it resolved. The post master told me she would call me back this morning definitely.. Of course she lied. No call and there phone must be off the line so nobody can call them. I have called them 53 times today and no answer. I even have called the complaint department to speak to a postal worker at the headquarters. I have been on hold waiting for an hour and 53 minutes. I am going to go tomorrow. I quess they are closed for they are sure not working. I am so frustrated. If I die, blame it on the incompetent post master in McDonough. I think she is kin to Obama. Must be sleeping at the job.

This post office has got to be the worst in the City of McDonough! Extremely slow and they dont know what their doing in the back. I ordered a package online and it was to be sent in 2 days. The package in fact arrived on time, but it took me to have to go to the counter and track the package, only to discover not only was the package sitting in the back for 8 days.. because I didnt receive a package notice (yellow slip) in my PO Box, I have to waste my time and wait on line just for them to bring my package out to me. Why must I wait on line for small packages when providing me a package key in my box as it was done awhile back would be sufficient enough. You dont allow customers to ring the service bell anymore, yet you dont provide a key to grab small packages out of the boxes in front. Just plain ridiculous! Get it together..
